Four Seasons in Brent

The food from the 4 seasons is always decent. However, waiting 2 hours for food is not acceptable. No freebies when you spend £70 or even a free bag of prawn crackers as a way of saying sorry. Not good enough.

ordered at 6.30pm and was delivered at 8.40pm when phoned at 8.10 she said was out for delivery took 30 minutes for a 5 minute trip and when arrived most was cold only thing warm was ribs and crispy chicken due to being in a sauce rice was tasteless chips cold and soggy so basically £59 in bin would advise don't order a delivery go and collect then at least it might be edible

Food quality wasn’t great, inedible pieces of chicken and overcooked prawn toast. Tasted like it was yesterdays and had just been reheated :(

The order was over 1hour late 18.40 it should of been with me turned up at 7.38

The food here is always delicious! Sometimes takes a while to arrive on busy days but you know that when you order and it’s always worth it.

Food was nice but it’s wasn’t hot

Ordered my food around 7pm and received the food for around 9pm - 2 hours waiting for food. When I rang up after the food being 30 minutes late the driver was only just driving back to the shop.

The quality of the food is outstanding. It always take a long time to get it but if that means the quality not being affected, so be it :) never had the food cold and that is something:)

I order from here because they have a 5* hygiene rating rather than my local takeaways. It arrived piping hot. 😀

We ordered our food at 5:30, the delivery time stated 6:40. We didn’t receive our order till 7:35 despite the restaurant saying “15 minutes maximum” when we rang at 6:10. When the food arrived the driver wasn’t sure he gave us the correct order so needed us to check (surly he should know what he’s delivering?!) and the food was cold. Once we had warmed it up (which we shouldn’t have too, but after 2 hours we were hungry) the food was barely edible. The salt & pepper chicken was like bricks!

chicken and beef was chewy, chips and chicken balls were greasy and an over £50 order with no prawn crackers given which usually is a given?

Food was amazing g as always but delivery time was really poor. Had to call twice for delivery updates.

Food was lovely really good quality. Had to ring twice due to th food being late, the lady I rang was very professional despite her manager shouting at her in the background so I thank her for this. I would order again,.timing needs to be better

Food was lovely as normal but I was abit annoyed I didn't get any prawn crackers with my order, apparently they don't give them out to just eat customers ....which is annoying as I spent over £30 most chinese give them away with every order......

food disgusting today. not sure if changed ownership or not. waste of £44. that bad saved in fridge to be checked by the powers that be. pink chicken no lamb in the lamb fried rice. gravy in beef and onions and the wandering dragon tasteless very watery. mushrooms tasted like tinned. beef very chewy. meals bulked out with onions and mushrooms. premium price for garbage. gave this place plenty good reviews in past but tonight was literally garbage. no prawns or baby sweetcorn in wandering dragon

The food was absolutely STUNNING! The satay beef skewers had such a depth of flavour in the sauce and the meat was lovely and tender. Egg fried rice nice and fluffy. The prawn curry was a very generous portion. The balance of spice with sweet was spot on and I don’t think I’ve ever had prawns that big before.

Spent £50...forgot the chips (again) and didnt send any prawn crackers!

I ordered fried mushroom, i got what its cover in sauce and onion. won’t order the mushroom again.

Chicken 'balls' tough and so rubbery as to be inedible, other meat similar. So unappetising that we gave up and threw it all in the bin. Won't be returning, sorry.

Food was arrived after delivery time due to the busyness of the restaurant on a Saturday evening which was understandable. Driver was very apologetic and friendly. Food was fantastic and hot. Really impressed and will definitely be ordering again!

A low quality meal. Chow Mein has hardly anything in it 95% noodles. Had way way better from others Chips were not crisp as expected from a Chinese. Chicken balls okay but the sauce contained no pineapple bits as others do. Cooking to delivery time over an hour.

Wan ton soup was super hot, everything else was lukewarm. Delivery was 15 minutes late with no apology from the driver or the company themselves. Normally very good.

No we're near as good as it use to be. Some of the food was hot some was luke warm. Says delivery fee from £1.50 I live probably half a mile away if that and was charged £3.80. Wandering dragon had 2 prawns in it ( large portion). Spent almost £35 and no complementary prawn crackers like always use to have. Chicken balls batter quite soggy. Won't be using again I'm afraid quality has gone down hill. A shame because use to be a great takeaway.

Outstanding! Very enjoyable food, Proper chinese curry, Sweet n Sour chicken balls are equisite. Rices were cooked to perfection, light and fluffy and not clumped! Had a large order tonight and everyone was full up and no room to spare. Portion sizes are very large, best chinese chips in Derby, chicken balls are huge and similar in size to 2 portions from competitors ( due to the size ) Ordered set meal 2 from the menu and special curry with the crispy chicken and roast pork fried rice, chips. Food arrived on time, and was piping hot. This really is the best chinese in Derby, quality food everytime! My respects to the Chef

When calling them on the phone to explain my food had not been delivered they was rude. Food was cold and no apology given.

The order was late getting to us with no update

We pre ordered the food at 1630 Saturday, for a 20:00 delivery I called at 20:20 to be told they were only just cooking and were waiting for a driver!? Firstly which excuse was it lol second pre order should guarantee a clos to delivery time order not having your food cooked nearly 30 minutes after it was originally ordered. So finally at 20:52 the food arrived nearly 1hr late despite being ordered over 4 hrs before the required delivery. 4 seasons does quality food but after several attempts in all the different styles of ordering they are always late.

When the food arrive it was delicious and plenty of it. Not using this service before, we soon realised that you have to order early. Unfortunately, you had a very busy service resulting in the delay of delivery, which is good for you but not for your customers awaiting delivery. Would still use the Four Seasons again. Food quality excellent. *****

Food was lovely. Did send me the wrong sauce though. Sent me curry instead of sweet and sour. Unfortunately I don’t like curry sauce, so that was a frustrating. No complaints with the food I got though, it was nice.

Food was lovely, slow on delivery so factor that into your order

Our food was cold when it arrived as it was late for delivery. The time states it was delivered at 8:30 but we received it at 8:45. We will not be ordering from here again. Thank you

The food was running late, however this was communicated to us when we rang as we completely understand these things happen. The food was delivered hot, the correct order and delicious! This wouldn’t put me off ordering again.

It was amazing as always but wish that the just eat app would tell us when the food is coming as we can't get the dog in before the food comes to the door and the dog runs out of the door.

The food had too many onion and was written up on the menu that there was seasonal vegetables it was only onion that was in the meal it was lovely and hot

Food was OK. Not the best, but not the worst. Delivery was stupidly long though, closer to two hours than an hour.

The lemon chicken didn’t taste the nicest, salt & pepper chips tasted just like normal chips, crispy seaweed was very plain. The rice was alright I suppose.

I requested delivery for 8pm as my partner would not be home before then. The food arrived one hour early. I then had to keep it hot for an hour. After which the chips were dark and crispy and the rest of the food a little dry. Disappointed.

I am writting a late review from 8/3/23 food was completely fine but it was 45minutes late and the delivery driver didnt even say sorry
