This is a lovely bar with several rooms and a down to earth feel. It has a friendly atmosphere and some great live music events at times.

Best bar in Bangor. Guinness best in the country. One of the only places left where it's not chilled to the point of no flavour. Also a proper pub; no food, sports on quietly in the corner, mix of interesting characters.

Very rude barman.. asked my friend to leave because he had a pizza box while standing in the hallway! Holy Jesus its not the four seasons! Plenty of good bars in bangor to choose from who’ll be glad to accommodate you with your half eaten pizza 🍕

The best Guinness outside of Dublin.

Called in on saturday and had a Terrible experience, got turned away for no reason apparently my friend was "to Drunk" yet we were just out and hadn't started drinking as it was our first stop tried explaining this to the girl behind the counter but didn't listen because I think she was the one that was to Drunk as she couldn't stand still and was Sluring her words and definitely would be back if they have staff drunk behind the bar and won't serve people that clear as day haven't even had a drink. We wanted to cal down becuase the Guinness is suppose to be amazing but a shame I'll not get to try it as I won't be back

Mark my words you do not leave this place unhappy.

Absolutely terrible. Mark Coyle (owner ) has ruined a once cracker bar . Definitely not best Guinness in Bangor as it once was . Don’t speak too loud you’ll get barred

A very old bar in the centre of Bangor. A massive display of whiskeys and gins. I think its mostly locals who frequent it and they all know each other and the bar staff know them also. Nice bar but not if your looking modern etc. I visited during the week so Im not sure if there is entertainment on at weekends or not.

A great old-fashioned pub. They have a vast selection of whiskey and quite a few gins too, but the main reason to call in is that they serve the best pint of Guinness bar-none.

One of the last real pubs in Bangor. It's been given a makeover since I worked there 23 years ago, but still retains much if uts feeling. Good luck Mark, you deserve to do well.

This place is iconic. Sparce interior. Olde world mens pub for years. Things have changed. Still sparce but it is a cult haunt, especially at weekends. Great Guinness, gins(about 30/40 types) and some 100 and more whiskeys are on offer. No food but who cares in a joint like this. Great craic and sometimes music at night. Don't miss it.
