What the hell has happened to this place? I came here with some friends to catch a film and enjoy some cracking food or so we thought! We used to come here regularly and I use the word "used" as I'm not sure if I'll bother coming back again. We came in and stood for at least 5 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us in what was a pretty quite restaurant. Staff were stood around chatting at the end of the bar and the person on the reception told us we had to wait to be seated by the restaurant staff. When we were finally seated our drinks order was taken and quickly brought to us. We ordered starters to share between us which took an age to come, calamari over cooked and tasteless, nachos over cooked bland with tasteless guacamole, chicken wings once again over cooked dry and just not very good. Thought we would see if the mains would redeem themselves. Pulled pork pizza, pork was tasteless and the pizza was undercooked Ham and pineapple pizza, drowned in the pineapple glaze and over cooked Curried chicken and poppadom, chicken was dry and over cooked, poppadoms were soft and the pizza was overdone Now we have been here at least a dozen times over the year and this is possibly the worst the food has ever been, we spoke to the very helpful waiter and he explained that there was a new kitchen team in there and the head chef was new. Well I hope to god something changes because this was such a great place and the pizzas were up there with the best in Leeds a few months ago now there nothing to shout about. What a shame, hope things change soon

What isn't there to love than pizza and then upstairs to the cinema?? The pizzas are cooked nice and fresh and they are good quality too. The staff and friendly and it's a good environment with great music!! Also if you show your cinema ticket on a Monday your pizza is free too? What's better than that??

We decided to try the Monday evening pizza offer when visiting the cinema. Upon arriving at the restaurant we were provided with a roll of kitchen roll on the table which we presumed was instead of napkins however this looked cheap and unprofessional. We ordered nacho's for starters however this was just a plate of nacho's with some guacamole on the side - there was no salsa, no sour cream or anything else so this was a very bland and poor starter. The starter also arrived before our drinks arrived. We both ordered pizza for our main course and these were alright - not the best pizza we had had but certainly not the worst. Whilst the offer is good we definitely will not dine here again.

First time I had visited the Everyman and liked the place - great cinema and sound system and loved the sofa and armchair seats with the tables and foot rests and so stayed for a pizza after. The restaurant is nothing to get too excited about and just to note the toilets are a hike away - open kitchen which is always a good sign and nice pizza oven. I went for a pulled pork pizza which was a nice base and well stacked. The tomato spread was a bit powder like and not cooked well but okay. Drinks a bit pricey as mainly they are serving over 500ml versions when normally it is 375ml bottles in pizza restaurants. I don't like bottle normally anyway but a pint of Peroni is not nice. Overall it was okay and done well but prefer the place for the cinema only.

We had heard great things about this place so I had high hopes. I couldn't be more disappointed. We booked a table and hour and a half before the film. We arrived early and were told in patronising tones "It's almost two hours till your film" by a staff member. It was a good job we were early. We waited ten minutes for our drink order to be taken. I had noticed cheeseless pizzas coming out so I asked if the pizzas has cheese and the waiter looked at me like I was a moron. Turned out they didn't come with cheese as the woman next to us complained later. An hour later our pizzas came. Anaemic white dough and way a goopy cholesterol filled topping. I barely managed half of it. The staff were slow and chaotic, other tables had to leave before they got their food after waiting an hour. It was a shambles. All in all it took two hours to order two pizzas, pay and leave. The staff on the bar stood around chatting while waiting staff ran around like headless chickens (achieving little in the process) I was a waitress and I know it's a hard job but common sense, being observant and courtesy go a long way. The woman checking tickets was rude to us as we had queued in the wrong line (no one told us we had balcony seats and had to go upstairs) it was a really unpleasant experience barely saved by a great Bond movie. A shame because this place could be awesome but inept and rude, unfriendly staff and sub-standard food ruined it.

We arrived at the pizzeria at 20:00 for our 21:00 film assuming that an hour would be more than enough for a 'quick' meal. We were seated quickly but had to wait quite a while before we could order. We had starters and they arrived quickly but it got to 20:50 and we asked to have our pizza to go as we were clearly not going to get to the film in time. We were pretty cheesed off (no pun intended) as they were clearly focusing on the takeaway side for the cinema rather than the restaurant where people were actually spending their time. Think the whole idea is good but they are just not pulling it off. By the time we sat down in the screen and could eat, the pizza was cold. Definitely wouldn't bother with this again.

Came here numerous times throughout July! The location in Leeds Trinity is excellent right near the shops! the staff are polite and the restaurant is clean and well organised! The menu had vegetarian options which was perfect! However the menu could have a little more choice like pastas or risottos? The halloumi burger was divine and so was the fries! I had an ice cream sundae and you could pick whatever you wanted! It was well priced and I couldn't fault it! Definitely returning x

We used to visit everyman every time we visited town, it used to be reasonably priced and a great menu with great food. Recently, the menu has changed, the prices have increased and although the food is still good, the nacho's we had for a started today were dreadful. Nacho's are supposed to have cheese and salsa on top, however these nachos were just tortilla chips and a pot of guacamole dip on the side. So we were pretty disappointed. The staff are always lovely and although we are a bit disappointed about the change of everyman, we will still make regular visits.

We visited the Everyman Pizzeria on a Monday as they offer free pizzas when you have a valid Everyman cinema ticket (the deal covers the price of a free Margherita pizza but you can pay the difference to upgrade e.g. £1 to upgrade to pepperoni). The menu has a good selection of drinks (including cocktails), pizzas and burgers, my husband went for the braised beef pizza which was delicious and reminded me of a casserole on a pizza! I opted for the pepperoni which was tasty, and we managed to squeeze in the garlic bread with mozzarella and caramelised red onion starter which was also nice. I must admit there are other pizzerias that I prefer, but I would recommend a visit here if you are going to the Everyman cinema for the convenience, the ambience is nice, food is good, and you can't really lose with the free pizza deal (just remember to book)!

Me and two friends ate here before going to the cinema last night (6th July 2015) and we had the Monday deal, where you get a free margarita pizza with each cinema ticket. There wasnt must choice with regards to starters. I had the calamari which unfortunately was over cooked and burnt, so I had to send it back and my friends had the Nachos and all they got was a plate full of dry tasteless tortilla chips and a bowl of guacamole. My friends asked to add melted cheese on the tortilla chips, but there were just a few tiny blobs, it was like hunt the cheese! Normally with Nachos you would at least get a choice of plenty of melted cheese on the tortilla chips, guacamole, salsa, sour cream and maybe some jalapenos? We paid to upgrade the pizzas and they were nice, I had pepperoni and my friends had the ham and pineapple and rubbed chicken.I wouldn't come here just for a meal, but for a pizza before a film its fine. The staff were nice and friendly and quickly returned with a portion of calamari which wasnt burnt.

I've had good pizzas here before - I particularly liked the ham, rocket and caramelised onion pizza. The chef has changed the menu. Now my favourite pizza has pineapple salsa instead of caramelised onions. Yuk! (Thank you to the staff who requested my favourite from the old menu instead). Other options are really strange. The pulled pork and stuffing or "rubbed chicken" sounded horrible on pizza. I realise that this is American rather than Italian in theme, so expected hot pepperoni etc, not odd combinations such as you get on takeaway menus. Where I live, it is common for all takeaways to do pizzas, burgers and kebabs in the oddest of combinations - but this is supposed to be a restaurant. The name seems to have changed too - it is now forzza - if that is supposed to mean "strong" in Italian, it is mispelled and looks silly. Stop playing around and give good food again.

One advised me that the pepperoni would be too hot for me - he was clearly a wuss. The pizza was really lovely and excellent value with this offer, and still worth the money full price. It tasted freshly baked and good quality ingredients. I got pepperoni and it was pretty spicy, just right.it was less than half full in there which is a shame as I think they are known only for the deal and not as a restaurant in itself.I would definitely prefer to eat there for pizza than some of the nearby places in the Trinity.

I visited Leeds with my partner in the Halloween school holidays as part of a coach trip and we hadn't anywhere specific planned to go for lunch. Everyman seemed reasonably priced and was significantly less busy and all the other eateries in the Trinity Centre that we had checked out.All in all it was a really great experience, all our food seemed fresh and well cooked; it tasted fantastic and great value for money. The staff couldn't do enough for us, but were not overbearing. They seemed like they genuinely enjoyed working there, having a laugh between themselves but also involving customers like ourselves. At the same time, there appeared to be people in just to have a quiet coffee and a read of the paper and the staff knew just to let these folks do their own thing. We really enjoyed the experience in a clean, funky and friendly restaurant. We waited 40 minutes for our order only for the waiter to tell us he had forgotten to put our order through to the kitchen. This was fine as he was honest and apologetic, therefore we were happy to wait. However we were then repeatedly lied to by another waiter who slammed dishes down, was rude and arrogant. After 1 hour and 20 minutes waiting, we still hadn't received our meals and decided to leave. I am therefore unable to review the food. It's such a shame as we frequently visit the cinema, however I would not recommend the pizzeria to anyone due to the appalling attitude and service given by the staff. Unfortunately this ruined our evening as our guests who had travelled from Birmingham were only in the city for a short while. I had been here once previously some months ago and enjoyed the food so chose to go again with a friend for a mid-afternoon bite to eat. It was a Friday, about 4pm and there were just two of us so no issue at all getting a table, there were only a handful of other couples in the restaurant at the time. We were welcomed and seated promptly but we weren't asked about ordering drinks before being left to peruse the menu - and we were left for some time so a drink would have been welcome. The menu is good for the type of venue this is, there are pizzas, pastas, burgers, salads etc. All but a couple of the main courses are under £10 so fairly reasonably priced in my mind. I chose the superfood chicken salad and my friend ordered the messy burger, plus 2 x vodka & mixers. There was then a lengthy wait for the drinks to arrive, there were two staff behind the bar who poured our drinks and we watched them sit on the counter going flat but no one brought them to us. There were no other drinks being poured or customers being served at this point and eventually I went across to the bar myself to fetch them. Not overly impressed with that particular service! The food however, arrived pretty promptly and it was then we realised we had no cutlery... No staff around to ask so I had to wander across to a neighbouring table to take some from there. Then realised we had no napkins either and couldn't see any and it was only then, seeing me searching around, that a waitress came over and gave us a kitchen roll (no issue with this, it's the trendy way!) from the service station - but all of this should be sorted and in place for a customer to sit down & enjoy their meal. The food, to be fair, was good. My salad was plentiful, the chicken was crispy & juicy, I enjoyed it. My friend pronounced her burger one of the best she'd ever eaten so no complaints there. The table was cleared quickly once we'd finished and the dessert menu offered but we didn't fancy it. No enquiry about further drinks? Really bothers me when restaurants don't do this! Given that there was no water on the table, surely it's not unusual for a second or third drink to be required throughout a meal? The bill was brought promptly when we asked, I wanted to pay by card but no one came back... Giving up, we cobbled together the cash and left! No goodbye or acknowledgement from the staff. Overall, the food is good so I'd return on that basis and the decor and venue itself look great but the service really let it down, especially considering how few customers there were to the number of staff walking around not doing a lot - slow service I can forgive when a restaurant is heaving but it wasn't in this case.

I ordered a burger, was served a pink processed burger which was one of the most unappealing burgers I have ever laid eyes on, possibly on a par with Frankie and Benny’s! I kindly said the waitress (Who was lovely and very accommodating btw) that I didn’t fancy my chances with a pink processed burger. She offered an alternative on the menu, so I opted for pizza (which I’d regretted not doing in the first place). The pizza was a lot nicer than the burger but was very greasy and soggy the middle. The waitress was very apologetic but the manager didn’t visit our table once to apologise which is not a good level of customer service. Not to mention the table in the corner, two tables away from us, which was occupied by, what seemed management, talking very loudly about topics I’d rather not hear about! I’m sad to report that my overall experience of the eatery at Everyman’s was not at the top of my list and I would not recommend but I would say it’s the best cinema in town and advise that you just eat somewhere else beforehand! My advice to management would be, learn some customer service skills and keep your personal revelations to yourself whilst customers are in earshot. Oh and make your own burgers, it’s probably the same cost in the long run and you've a lot of excellent places to compete with in Leeds.

Ate in here on Saturday afternoon around 16:45. Restaurant was quiet but the food was good, fast and friendly service. Not a huge choice on the menu but should be something for everyone - sometimes too much choice is a bad thing.Price very reasonable when compared to some of the other pizza restaurants around. You didn't just feel like another number at a table.

Visited lunch time, only ones in for half an hour so atmosphere not great, both had pizzas which were very good, all in all nice lunch, but quiet pricey if going to the cinema upstairs, 2 pizzas, couple drinks and cinema £50 +.

I wasn't expecting to get the pizza experience of my lifetime from a cinema - did think it would be good though. My pizza was ok, portions of toppings a little light but hey ho. My girlfriends however was terrible. They are using a wood fired oven - great for flavour but it was too hot so the pizza base was ready before the topping was cooked and ruined by all the water coming out of the veg and mozz made it totally inedible. We would have told the staff if anyone had bothered to ask us, having had one bite out of her pizza and mine going cold as I tried eat it slowly hoping someone would come and ask what the problem was. After quite some time we got up to go to the 'bar dispense area' only to hear what looked like a manager say OMG have that table left? Real shame as the staff upstairs are fantastic at service.

Nice, spacious and light place with it's own feel. Great service and amazing pizza (not too heavy or fatty), that was surprisingly cheap (just 6.50 for margherita). I would definitely come there again!

I've been in couple of restaurant in Leeds and I never received such a nice service and food, i was with my friend in there, we were looking for restaurant like for 2 hours, nothing supposed to be interesting, then we came to Everyman, it was really nice decor inside, we got placed in short time, we got our menus, and the menu's design is really catchy :D We enjoyed the menu as pages from notebook, great idea. We got our food delivered really quick, and it was really tasty, we can even forgive the service that they didn't understood things like I ordered cuba libre, not cranberry juice, but it's probably because my English is not perfect at all. Supervisor was talking with us for a long time, it was really cool, that staff is paying attention to customers, she made us a discount card, in that way I spent another 15 pounds that I wouldn't if I would have to pay full price. I gave them much bigger tip that I used to give before, and I am sure that they deserve it at all, brilliant service and food. I will go there again, I am sure about it, next time I will go to the cinema as well, I can recommend that to "EveryMan" :D

My sister, nephew and me deliberated on where to eat and as my nephew wanted pizza we thought this place would be ideal...thought it would be ideal! Despite the restaurant being under half full we were informed by the host that we would have a 40 minute wait for a table, the tone he used was as if he was trying to put us off from eating here but as my young nephew wanted to stay we decided to wait. After a little wait, (no where near 40 minutes) the 3 of us were shown to our table. We promptly order our food - two pizzas, side salad, fries and some olives to pick on while we waited for the mains along with drinks. We were informed that we may have to wait about 30 minutes for our food but thought the restaurant wasn't busy so surely it wouldn't take that long! The drinks came after about 20 minutes followed by the olives 10 minutes later. After about 40 minutes we noticed that people who were seated around the same time as us had received their food so we asked the waitress about our order, she said it won't be long. At the same time a table of 6 were sat near to us, they sat ordered and within 20 minutes had all their food - ours was still no where to be seen!!! My sister address who I assume is the manager/supervisor and asked how we made a small order an hour ago which still hadn't arrived yet others who had spent half the time in the place received theirs. It then became apparent our order had been lost and she advised us not to worry because they noticed the missing order in good time, we had been waiting over an hour. About 15 minutes later our food arrived, it come out under cooked which I assume is because they just wanted to get our food to us and the side salad was missing. Overall the service and food was dreadful, the restaurant was freezing and we literally had to sit and eat with our coats on. The main manager who mainly stood behind the bar gave poor and in my opinion unprofessional direction to his staff. Advantage of the visit was weren't charged for the main meals. If the staff communicated a little more and apologised for our wait (customer service training required ASPA) this review would perhaps be a little more positive. Would I go back, errrmmm NO!!

Recently dined with party of 6 on a Monday night after cinema trip. On the menu was a free pizza offer with your cinema ticket. One member of party ordered pizza - however only ate once piece from it. On leaving we asked for a box for my daughters pizza only to be told they didn't allow as it was a Monday!!!!! (Free pizza night!)I ended up having to wrap the pizza in kitchen roll to take home! What a shame this happened on our first trip to Everyman Pizzeria - for what the price of a pizza box!

As a group of 10 we struggled to find a restaurant to accommodate us however this place did not seem phased by a large group and we were seated in a few minutes. The menu is not the largest or most varied I have ever come across but everyone in our group found something they wanted and when it came were happy with what they ordered. I had a peri peri chicken pizza and it was really nice, I would say you should also get a starter because just a pizza wouldn't fill me. The only issue we had was that we ordered 1 garlic bread with cheese and 1 with cheese and onion and they mixed these up so we ended up with one plain one, however when we told them about this they were really happy to sort the problem out and took both items off the bill. Overall a good meal.

3 of us - aged 70, 50 and 18 - all enjoyed our various main and dessert choices - well cooked, good value and obviously appealing to different tastes and generations!! The décor was modern but not over the top, in up market shopping mall and next to the cinema. There was a large party there but it didn't impinge on individual diners. The white wine was entirely drinkable and we all enjoyed the evening - probably more casual than smart but still a special enough venue for Leeds students to feel they were indulging without too hefty a bill.

Had food from here twice now. Really nice pizza , especially the margarita. Chips are really nice too, super crispy an massive portions. Staff really friendly. Only criticism was the 'Ham' on the Ham an mushroom pizza. I'm not sure what it actually was, but as per a previous review on the H&M pizza, the 'ham' is some small square, weird consistency type stuff. I picked it off and didn't eat it. Everything else was good though.
