Me and my partner arrived for a brunch, we got veggie soup and a burger. The food was delicious and nicely displayed, the staff were so friendly especially Oisin and Karina, they made us feel comfortable. Recommended!

We as a group of 4 waited an hour for cold and bland food, the chicken was dry, I ordered the salmon, I was given the smallest portion of salmon with a bowl full of rice, The gratin was raw. The waitress was really nice but that is the only good thing about the place.

Hands down some of the best food we've ever had. The flavour in everything was 👌 Highly highly recommended this place.

Highly recommend. Ate here twice today. First had breakfast and then stopped again for dinner. Fabulous food. Big portions and everything so tasty.

Firstly Table was booked for 2 of us, we arrived and they gave us table with high stools, we asked for a different table as I was heavily pregnant so they gave us a table at a door, I have asked for something more suitable but we were told place is fully booked which during an hour we stayed not even one new costumer came in. Secondly I have ordered Fanta orange and they gave me Club orange instead and they explained that I assumed its the same which is not and very ignorant of them. Thirdly food overpriced, not to mention I asked for garlic cubes and I got just plain cubes. Not to mention I was given a butter knife to cut steak burger. Food was plain and blant. Definitely not coming back

Had heard mixed reviews about Ellies but have to say it was the best meal we've had dining out in ages and we dine out every week. All the food had so much flavour and taste. Highly recommend the sharing platter. Steak skewers, stuffed mushrooms, salted chilli chicken & garlic bread accompanied with the most yummy salad I've had in a long time! Our 6 year old had the pasta kids meal and he said he wants to eat here every day!! The staff were incredibly helpful and lovely. The lady offered to bring our sons food out with our starters which worked perfectly. Honestly I never bother doing reviews but i think Ellies deserves one. Definitely recommend the whole experience. You won't be disappointed!

I have eaten at Ellies on a number of occasions and found it hit and miss but post covid I figured I would try it again and was pleasantly surprised. I had a table booked for a low key family meal. We arrived and were quickly seated at the large back windows as I had requested which offer a spectacular view across Dungannon and beyond. The sunny day made this view even more impressive and offered many talking points. We were seated and a drinks order taken straight away while menus were distributed. The menu is a single, unlaminated printed sheet, a remanent of covid times which I hope will disappear soon as the single page is less than pleasant to order from. The one gripe I continue to have with Ellies is the slow service for the initial ordering of starters and mains. The service the rest of the time seems to be fine but this initial delay to order is a consistent issue. Starters of brie, soup, salted chilli chicken and garlic mushrooms. I first want to say that the portions for starters are very generous. The brie were large wedges, there was plenty of chicken and mushrooms too. A delight when you consider that usually starter sizes can be rather mean. The brie was golden and gooey. The soup was a subtle, creamy curried cauliflower which was a delightful change of pace from the bog standard soups. For mains we had steaks, chicken stacks, burgers an baked salmon. All of which was fabulous. Portions were generous and served very well. The steak was cooked to perfection with a lovely sear. The champ was creamy and the baked salmon was a riot of colour. For dessert we indulged in cheesecakes, lemon meringue pie and brownies. The cheesecake was super rich and sweet. The brownies very sweet but still nice. The lemon meingue let the side down a little because, while it looked like a work of art it was cold. Lemon meringue should be served hot, and not just the meringue blow torched to mildly warm and browned. From base to tip it should be hot. The vanilla ice cream tasted vaguely smokey also and was not something we would go for again. Other than speeding up the initial ordering and tinkering with the desserts to serve hot where appropriate and change the vanilla ice cream brand, I was very impressed with this trip to Ellies and will certainly be back. For the generous portions and good quality the meal was also quite reasonably priced!

Food absolutely fantastic. I have dined in quite a few times and I am sure I will do in the future. Definitely try if in the area

Good food, friendly staff, great selection of drinks. To offer one suggestion for improvement, there doesn't seem to be a member of staff on the floor to watch for customers that want service. Some tables are out of line of sight from the bar, so one might have to go to the bar to get service. I don't mind this myself, but elderly and disabled customers may not have that option so easily. A member of staff to keep an eye on customers would, I think, help improve speed and quality of service. Admittedly, I've only gone in during quiet hours during the week, so it's possible they have more through staffing during peak hours when most customers would be going.

Ellie's always is the place to go with my lovely godmother. They treat her like a queen and will always have her favourite meal for her. The restaurant is clean , the service is excellent and the choice of meals is great ( you can also take home what you can't eat ) I can't fault it. Thank you

Called in for a bite to eat after searching on google for a place in Dungannon. The reviews where good and I can confirm that this was an excellent restaurant. The staff where very helpful and polite. The service was fast and the food was delicious. Well done to Ellie's Restaurant and as Arnie says I'LL BE BACK

The food was great 👍 we where a party of 3 and got seated quickly and the food arrived just as quick(I love their chips) I would of given 5 stars only a server never came back to check we where ok or needed anything more,we wanted desert and coffee but after waiting 15min we left without any.

Just happened to discover this place by accident but so glad we did. Very spacious and lovely decor. Good menu options, well priced. Meal was cooked to perfection and the amount of food on the plates were massive. You definitely won't leave hungry!! Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Food was amazing. I ordered the salt and chilli chicken which was brilliant. My family also ordered a multitude of dishes from the fish and chips to the lasagne. All plates were empty at the end. Couldn't find a single fault.

Have visited Ellie's a few times now and have yet to ever be disappointed. Food is amazing and staff are very friendly and helpful. The choice of menu is also fantastic.. A real relaxing lovely atmosphere about the place as well. Highly recommend! =)

I had a steamed salmon & cod duo in a fantastic sauce + baby boiled potatoes ....superb !!!! Never thought about these 2 fish together before ..but Ellie's cook it surperbly , only fault .... should have had also a side of vegetables .. certainly next time ..
