Dukkah Restaurant in Hackney

We had a delicious meal with excellent service. We shared all our dishes and especially liked the chicken and cauliflower large dish and all the smaller dishes? If I lived locally I’d be back often.

The place is cosy and very well laid out . The service was good and friendly . The food was the best part though ! Good quality and plentiful ! It also is extremely good value

We came here for dinner, on a road that is quite competitive for middle eastern food. The two waiters were serving a nearly full restaurant and were super attentive despite how busy it was! We had the Beetroot Kisir and the Sweet Potatoe Falafels small plates as starters which were both absolutely delicious. For our mains we had the Lamb Neck and the Fellah Kofta Balls, which both blew us away with how tasty they were. Many middle eastern or mediterranean restaurants tend to serve similar plates, but we found that Dukkah adds a rather creative touch, serving up variations on traditional middle eastern dishes that we had never had before. As this was a refreshing culinary experience, I will definitely order out from here and come back to try out the other dishes.

It's easy to walk past this restaurant as it's on such a busy road with loads of other bars and restaurants right next to it. But it is definitely worth a visit. The food is full of flavour and it's different from the usual middle eastern food available. Plenty of seating Inn and outside and the staff are all lovely and attentive.
