I ordered through Deliveroo. It stated 20-30 minute wait. Order kept getting extended. 1 hour and a half wait for 2 coffees and 2 donuts that never turned up. Absolutely terrible. They don’t even have a number for you to even call them and I appreciate you’ll have a lot of orders but at least let us ring you. I wasted my time waiting for an order that frankly I don’t think was ever going to turn up. If you’re not open also fine but don’t accept orders if you’re not going to deliver. I’d give this 0/5 if it was even possible

Visited recently and ordered a hot chocolate with cream, disappointed with the long wait which I did receive an apology. The hot chocolate was quite weak and when I got to the bottom of the cup could see the chocolate powder hadn’t been mixed in properly. I made a point of taking my cup back to the server and showed her. ( the older of the two ladies working there ) Her response was “oh the chocolate hasn’t been mixed properly” she turned away, put the cup on the counter behind her and then said “no big deal is it” I was absolutely amazed at her attitude. No apology, I didn’t even expect a refund of the £2.90 I just wanted them to be aware that when making the drink to ensure it’s mixed appropriately for other customers. It’s a fairly new place to eat/drink inside Debenhams at Friars walk but will be a place I intend to avoid on future visits to the store.

Stopped for a snack and coffee but wish we had gone elsewhere. Ordered a doughnut and a scone and two coffees which cost well over £8 total. The banoffee donut was barely edible because the sweetness overload and the "mini" scone was so stale I could have bounced it off the walls and was left after one bite. Both were served on saucers not plates, there were no napkins and we only managed to find clean cutlery after searching through the stained and dirty stuff on offer. Coffee was not too bad but only served with white sugar. Staff seemed stressed but I guess I would be working here.
