Nice atmosphere but annoying ticketed parking system which you'll end up having to go back too as even when moderately busy you seem to have to wait aeons for food to be served. Better off going to The Red Kite over the road. Same brewery but ran much better.

Was served today by Angela, Steve and Simon. Having service staff here are always top standard. Food was absolutely beautiful!

Spent a day at the cwrt rawlin, it was fantastic. Great atmosphere, lovely food and an all around great time. The staff are lovely and the regulars are so friendly. Special shootout to Liv, Ieuan, Angela and Steve!

Very crowded and our party of 4 wete sharing table with.other people. To be fair it was when Sctland were playing in the football. However was not impressed when we had to pay for parking - we spent £60 in the pub so don't see why we have to pay for parking!! Red Kite across the main road a much better experience Won't go there again!!!

It was a Saturday evening and I booked for 18.30. We arrived at 18.25 but was told that there was no table available for 4 at the moment, we finally sat down approx 15 minutes later, two of us ordered steak both asking for it to be medium when asked how we would like it, why they even bothered asking mind as it came out very well done what made it worse was that we waited for over 50minutes for it to arrive, we were so hungry by then that my partner said don't even think of complaining just eat it as she didn't want to have to wait any longer to eat, this was disappointing to say the least, so we tried to wat it but it was to dry and I left a good half of it, I have had nice food there in the past and that's why we returned, maybe this was a one off, hopefully!.

Arrived having to pay for parking! Big off put going back again. Hammering with rain 3 people waiting outside to pay, no shelter everyone was soaking and getting annoyed. Make sure you get enough hours because if you go over you get fined. Unbelievable when your spending money at this place. Food ok, had to send one plate back as wasn’t edible. Tables sticky had to ask someone to wipe them, toilets not very clean. You go to pub to enjoy and relax with family and friends and it immediately put us all off wouldn’t come back as lots of pubs in area with zero faff and parking issues.

Nice pub nice food reasonable service and prices. Just what you would expect from the chain.

Amazing service. We attended for ALN coffee morning on Tuesday. Had a lovely chat the session was run by Charlie and Kayleigh who are amazing. Value for money on food and drinks was very good. The food was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff.

Great place to go especially with me 3 year old son and 5 year old daughter there is a lot of thing to keep them occupied and the food is always spot on and the place is always clean and the bar woman Kayleigh made us feel so welcome everytime we go there

Had a great meal at the cwt rawlin.that was 2 years ago now is May 2024 and returned to the cawt Rawlin and they have refurbished it since our last visit be we still were treated by great staff and still had lovely food the only difference now is the car park charges that you have yo pay .maby things have changed since then but the fact that the pub was practically empty was probably due to charging customers to park while they use the pub a bit ridiculous in times when you should be attracting customers so no I don't think we will be returning anytime soon pity

Beautiful Sunday lunch today , waitress lowri served our table and I must say she was such a pleasant friendly young lady, all the staff were helpful and friendly and food was excellent

We used the QR code on the menu (which was very easy to use ) as we wanted to order food and drinks. Both came swiftly and were as stated in the order. This is not our first visit and won't be our last. The food is always fresh and piping hot and the staff attentive.

I visited on Sunday (28th) were served by Ben and lowri, food was fantastic and pub was very clean. Complements to the chef.

We came in on Sunday 28th and we were served by Ben lovely and very polite he couldn't do enough for us. we received our food and Lowri made sure we had plenty of cutlery and our food was correct. The food was fantastic and we asked who was cooking. We were told their was two chefs working Cez and Gethin. cant praise the pub more. Will be back again.

I came in yesterday (28th of April) when I arrived around 1.30pm Ben and Claire could not make me more at home. They were speedy and polite with my drinks order and taking my food order. The food was Fantastic, very tasty and hot.

First time going into this pub, was met with a lovely smile and eager to help attitude from Claire. Not also was she great but she is well sexy!!

Do NOT VISIT THIS PUB UNLESS YOU WANT A HEFTY PARKING FINE..We went to the pub and were advised to put an hour on the metre and we were in a disabled bay as I have CANCER!! We had our lunch and left,next thing we know we had a £60 fine in the post going up to £120 if we didn't pay,we had overstayed our ticket by approx 10 min which we didn't know until we had a fine.My hubby tried to sort it and had proof of bill but would not budge on the fine! SHAME ON YOU CWRT RALIN FOR FINEING A CANCER PATIENT WHO WANTED TO GO OUT FOR A MEAL AND CAME TO YOUR PUB...NEVER AGAIN

Pub was a bit grubby and my husband's food was the wrong order. My food was lovely though and staff did ask to change the food order.

I booked a table for 1pm, got there and no table reserved for us. My friends went to a table a couple were vacating. Ordered our meal at 1 15, our meal arrived at 2 45. People who came in after us, received their meals. When asked why, they said it was because 1 of us had an allergy. This person was myself, but I had ordered a salad, so what was the problem?. I would appreciate if you can respond to this complaint.

Staff were great but food was really poor cooked dinner was awful and mixed grill the chicken was so white it looked like it had been boiled we took the sausages home for the dog as they were not fit for human consumption

Do not go here!!! Ws had our drinks snatched and old to leave because our 2 children were sat eating sweets bought elsewhere. The manageress is very rude and not friendly at all. Doesn't smile and won't even entertain talking either customers. The toilets absolutely stink and can be smelt throughout the pub and the food is below average for the price you pay. The young lads behind the bar tho are very pleasant and try and make up for the managers attitude. Not child friendly at all!! We were also fined twice on previous experiences £100 for using the carpark because of car park monitoring system faults!! Also shannon Williams who left the last fake review is the MANAGER!!

The staff were lovely, but waited over an 1hr for our food, I had a rump steak, which was as slim as a piece of cheap bacon and actually tasted like cheap braising steak, disgusting. Paid £15 for a mixed grill aswell, so disgusting my partner couldn't eat it,.brought all meat home for the dog. Every thing on our plate looked as cheap as they could get, but paying alot more. Never eat there again

It is a lovely pub and enjoy being there but I would like to point out that today the smell from the toilets was bad ,just think u ought to know this

Visited for the first time for food on a quiet rainy March afternoon. The staff were lovely and the grub was delicious. Two ales on offer as well as the normal fizzy beverages. All in all we left feeling sure we will return. The only slight negative was the car park. You currently have to enter your reg and buy a ticket at the machine, then claim it back when you order food. This would have been okay, but the ticket machine was playing up. Standing outside in the rain while the machine says 'please wait', then eventually refusing your transaction as a tad frustrating. However I understand this system is due to be removed in a few months.

Took my elderly mother and aunt for sunday lunch....Brilliant pub..food was fab..only downfall 2 dogs were near us they were wet and smelled terrible...not what you want when your eating food..maybe a corner away from dining.....apart from that cant fault the place..Staff are so helpful..

Thoroughly enjoyed my Sunday roast which I didn't expect to in a pub lol. Plenty of turkey and lots of different veg all nicely cooked which was great. Loved the extra gravy given. My daughter enjoyed her Hunters chicken too. Said the chicken was very tender. Other daughter and boyfriend both enjoyed their Tikka Masala. I must say the waitress was lovely too. Very friendly , professional and asking if we enjoyed our meals or if we needed anymore sauces. The 30% off main meals voucher was used in this occasion. Great that this is a dog friendly establishment with a menu for dogs. Also, having a grandson with autism, the sensory bags available is a lovely touch.

response to your reply, you’re lying… one glass smashed and as i said before the bartender smashed one too?? maybe you should invest in some better glasses mate (that man clearly just gets a kick out of being a bully) and we stacked the glasses to move them to the end of the table for them to be picked up we weren’t stacking them for fun.. what a weird place with extremely unprofessional management was nice here but some bald guy that was running back and forth the kitchen (unhygienic, yes he’s bald but still gross he seemed like he was on dr*gs hence the power abuses) abused my friend over accidentally smashing a glass (bartender done the same thing seconds before) for no reason gross behaviour picking on people 20 years younger than him, said to the bartender don’t serve them anymore(which they didn’t)… quite weird as we only had 2-3 drinks at this point… don’t do coke kids 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 also an abuse of power (again) as all the people behind the bar are younger and probably scared of him as he looks like he’s buffed off his head and abusing steroids, absolutely disgusting.

Car parking is a nightmare, have to get a ticket then get a refund when you buy a drink. Lucky barstaff told me cause the signs are not obvious.

I had recently came in with my family and friends for some food and some drinks and I had an absolutely wonderful time all the bar staff was so welcoming and friendly ieuan and Shannon helped us out the most they recommended us some amazing deals like 3 bottles for a tenner absolutely fabulous it was our first time going to the cwrt rawlin and it certainly won’t be our last the atmosphere is how a pub should be I was left speechless it was an amazing evening I cannot wait for more

Came with my mate for the curry & a pint night. Fantastic selection of options with a very good pint. I had the chicken tikka and It was amazing. My mate had the red peppered curry and he loved it. Served by ashleigh and ieuan. And they were brilliant, will defiantly be back here on a Wednesday. Thank you guys

I cannot praise Miss Shannon Williams highly enough! I was very late making the initial booking because I did not read the information on the website thoroughly. Miss Williams was very understanding and helped me to sort it all with a minimum of fuss. The food was hot, tasty and plentiful and was enjoyed by all of us - which was evident by the clean plates!

Congratulations on losing loyal customers! I have just been fined £60 for parking in the car park even though I explained that the food took longer than usual to arrive, my mum is 81 and has dementia and I had to feed her whilst trying to eat my own food and she needed to use the toilet which takes longer with someone with dementia. Just what I needed during a cost of living crisis and just before Christmas!!!!!! Never again!

Myself and my children have had some absolutely stunning meals here. We've just booked year number 2 ready for our Christmas day dinner 😁 Last year we thoroughly enjoyed spending our afternoon with a amazing Christmas atmosphere, staff are so friendly and happy. Couldn't recommended this place enough

We had a mixed grill each and it was not good to say the least, and the smallest we have ever had,chicken & gammon was so overcooked we could have sharpened the budgies beak on them, when I cut into the tiny piece of chicken bits flew all over the table it was so dry, also very small amount of chips and way too many bullets, oops sorry peas. We didn’t have time to send it back or to re-order but did tell the waiter how bad it was. I needed to use the toilet before we left, oh dear, There was nothing on either door to say which was ladies, which was gents, I found the right one by accident, then there was a broken lock on the door, no toilet paper, no hand tissues and the hand drier is so far up the wall I had wet elbows by the time I came out. To say we will never go there again is an understatement.

It was the smallest mixed grill I have ever had. The Gammon was rock hard and cold and so was the chicken breast. You could make three Cwrt Rawlin mixed grills from one average sized mixed grill that you get anywhere else.

Food is great and such a good price, the atmosphere is friendly and cosy and the staff are amazing. I Love that it’s dog friendly as it means I can bring mine along for a tasty bite to eat too! The Staff does everything they can to make sure you feel welcome and relaxed. Have been a few times and will always return when in area as The cowboy burger is to die for…cooked to perfection and not too big so you can eat it all and not feel too full/bloated afterwards which is always a plus! If you’re looking for somewhere friendly and tasty then Cwrt Rawlin should be top of your list! I understand paying for parking can be a bit confusing/out of the ordinary for some but you get your money refunded on drinks/food so I don’t see a problem at all!
