Always amazing coming to my favourite pub. Served by iestyn and Stephen we again had a great experience, he made us feel so welcome and was generous to my mother by giving her loads of her favourite sauce. We had the scampi and the chicken tikka and it was amazing as always

Always great staff to have a chat to. Reasonable prices and they're constantly working hard to make it a good experience.

The Cwrt Rawlin pub is Caerphilly’s most hidden gem in my personal opinion. The atmosphere of the pub is unlike any others I’ve been to before staff members all happy and taking pride in they’re service and the food absolutely delicious/delightful

I came in a few days ago and got welcomed straight away! They staff there were incredibly kind and catering towards me and my family. We got served by iestyn and he took our food and drinks orders all night. The food came out extremely fast and was freshly cooked. Will be coming back with my friends to watch sports or even come for the quiz.

Went there to celebrate my daughters birthday it was a quiet night there but it was on a Monday evening,,the staff was very friendly and service was great and had a lovely mixed grill cooked by Ross the chef 👍🏻 thanks very much to all the staff

The staff were friendly and very helpful, they worked well as a team and took good care of their guests. Our group had a mix of food off the menus and it was all really good. Delicious! We will definitely be returning

Thank Goodness they are doing away with the Booking your Car into the Car Park!Always quick reliable service here,Good pint of Beer(LondonPride),unfortunately the Establishment was rather cold on our visit last Saturday,most people there i noticed had to keep their coats on??Can't comment on the food,didn't eat there!Ps I Will return ,can't say that my mate will,he likes the tropical weather!

The pub itself was very clean and all the staff were welcoming and nice the food I had ordered came very quickly and was delicious my server Ella was very kind, smiley and made sure everything was okay for me overall very great Customer experience

Absolutely packed, I understand it is Christmas Eve but the service was horrible. One of the workers I have forgotten the name of was very rude with poor customer service skills. Very overwhelming and the food took about half an hour to come. I had booked in advance but at first was declined seating. My meal took half an hour to come and came cold. I ordered the chicken burger. Not happy at all.

Terrible service. There was one particular staff member who was especially rude, however, i can unfortunately not remember his name. We got in and the place resembled a circus! I understand it’s christmas eve but where is the control?! After being forced to wait 30 minutes in the rain for a table we had booked well in advance, the member i previously mentioned actually accused me of lying about the food i ordered to cover up that he had just forgotten and some of us were left to go hungry. After a lot of arguing (which i did not enjoy) they finally brought out our food and it was cold, hard, and missing many crucial parts of the meal. overall would not return, take your festivity someplace better!

Food was right first time and delicious. What makes me come back to this pub is the high quality service and friendly nature of the staff led yesterday by Steve, Callum and Iestyn - nothing is too much trouble and it makes you feel valued and want to come back again.

Service was awsome and the cocktails great. Food hot and well cooked. We had a lovely time and didn't spend a fortune

We were a party of 7 visiting the Cwrt Rawling for the Christmas meal menu. We were greeted by really helpful, attentive and friendly staff. The starters we chose were breaded mushrooms (delish) and prawn cocktail (fresh, chilled with loads of prawns). The Christmas meal was hot and tasty, had a lovely variety of vegetables and a really good amount of turkey. Extra gravy and condiments were provided without having to request them. We had one child’s Christmas meal (10yr old) who chose chicken wings (hot and juicy ) /Christmas turkey meal (really good portion), Chocolate brownie with ice cream - it was all thoroughly enjoyed. Staff 10/10👍

Lovely clean and welcoming pub, amazing and friendly staff. The 2 gents behind the bar in the morning were lovely and kind. They greeted us as we walked in with a big smile. When taking our orders they made sure they were thorough so that our order was correct. Food was delicious as per usual. Will recommend to anyone wanting to try it out.

Not been here for 20 years, so came tonight for my daughters 18th, Didn't have no real choice in cider, so bought a blue wkd, so pushed it to the side, only for the manager to come over to our table & accuse me of letting my 13 Yr old son drinking, it was at his side with the salt & pepper as the table was full of plates.. He checked ctv, found nothing & threatened me with if I find out he did, I'll have to ask you all to leave... Ruined the end of our evening with no apology... Definitely won't be going back

Just had some food here and it was beautiful. Special mention to Steve behind the bar, friendly and informative. Quick service Food was piping hot Ice cold pint Sports on TV Can’t fault it!!

Really enjoy coming to the Cwrt Rawlin, it's always so welcoming and has friendly staff and good food. Little side note would be to get the male toilet ventilation sorted! See you tomorrow!!

The Cwrt Rawlin is a cosy, welcoming pub with a great selection of drinks and lovely meals. The staff are friendly, especially Steve, who always goes the extra mile. Perfect for a casual night out with friends or family.

Came to the cwrt rawlin tonight to watch the football, there was a member of staff Steve and his service was impeccable. Accommodated our requests from start to finish and was fantastic with pur 5 year old. Food was great service was great definitely will be coming back.

Nice atmosphere but annoying ticketed parking system which you'll end up having to go back too as even when moderately busy you seem to have to wait aeons for food to be served. Better off going to The Red Kite over the road. Same brewery but ran much better.

Was served today by Angela, Steve and Simon. Having service staff here are always top standard. Food was absolutely beautiful!

Spent a day at the cwrt rawlin, it was fantastic. Great atmosphere, lovely food and an all around great time. The staff are lovely and the regulars are so friendly. Special shootout to Liv, Ieuan, Angela and Steve!

Very crowded and our party of 4 wete sharing table with.other people. To be fair it was when Sctland were playing in the football. However was not impressed when we had to pay for parking - we spent £60 in the pub so don't see why we have to pay for parking!! Red Kite across the main road a much better experience Won't go there again!!!

It was a Saturday evening and I booked for 18.30. We arrived at 18.25 but was told that there was no table available for 4 at the moment, we finally sat down approx 15 minutes later, two of us ordered steak both asking for it to be medium when asked how we would like it, why they even bothered asking mind as it came out very well done what made it worse was that we waited for over 50minutes for it to arrive, we were so hungry by then that my partner said don't even think of complaining just eat it as she didn't want to have to wait any longer to eat, this was disappointing to say the least, so we tried to wat it but it was to dry and I left a good half of it, I have had nice food there in the past and that's why we returned, maybe this was a one off, hopefully!.

Arrived having to pay for parking! Big off put going back again. Hammering with rain 3 people waiting outside to pay, no shelter everyone was soaking and getting annoyed. Make sure you get enough hours because if you go over you get fined. Unbelievable when your spending money at this place. Food ok, had to send one plate back as wasn’t edible. Tables sticky had to ask someone to wipe them, toilets not very clean. You go to pub to enjoy and relax with family and friends and it immediately put us all off wouldn’t come back as lots of pubs in area with zero faff and parking issues.

Amazing service. We attended for ALN coffee morning on Tuesday. Had a lovely chat the session was run by Charlie and Kayleigh who are amazing. Value for money on food and drinks was very good. The food was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff.

Nice pub, friendly atmosphere, great service... But I had the steak pie, and it was full of fat and grissel tasted like frozen iceland pie!!

Great place to go especially with me 3 year old son and 5 year old daughter there is a lot of thing to keep them occupied and the food is always spot on and the place is always clean and the bar woman Kayleigh made us feel so welcome everytime we go there

Had a great meal at the cwt rawlin.that was 2 years ago now is May 2024 and returned to the cawt Rawlin and they have refurbished it since our last visit be we still were treated by great staff and still had lovely food the only difference now is the car park charges that you have yo pay .maby things have changed since then but the fact that the pub was practically empty was probably due to charging customers to park while they use the pub a bit ridiculous in times when you should be attracting customers so no I don't think we will be returning anytime soon pity

Beautiful Sunday lunch today , waitress lowri served our table and I must say she was such a pleasant friendly young lady, all the staff were helpful and friendly and food was excellent

We used the QR code on the menu (which was very easy to use ) as we wanted to order food and drinks. Both came swiftly and were as stated in the order. This is not our first visit and won't be our last. The food is always fresh and piping hot and the staff attentive.

I visited on Sunday (28th) were served by Ben and lowri, food was fantastic and pub was very clean. Complements to the chef.

I came in yesterday (28th of April) when I arrived around 1.30pm Ben and Claire could not make me more at home. They were speedy and polite with my drinks order and taking my food order. The food was Fantastic, very tasty and hot.

We came in on Sunday 28th and we were served by Ben lovely and very polite he couldn't do enough for us. we received our food and Lowri made sure we had plenty of cutlery and our food was correct. The food was fantastic and we asked who was cooking. We were told their was two chefs working Cez and Gethin. cant praise the pub more. Will be back again.

Do NOT VISIT THIS PUB UNLESS YOU WANT A HEFTY PARKING FINE..We went to the pub and were advised to put an hour on the metre and we were in a disabled bay as I have CANCER!! We had our lunch and left,next thing we know we had a £60 fine in the post going up to £120 if we didn't pay,we had overstayed our ticket by approx 10 min which we didn't know until we had a fine.My hubby tried to sort it and had proof of bill but would not budge on the fine! SHAME ON YOU CWRT RALIN FOR FINEING A CANCER PATIENT WHO WANTED TO GO OUT FOR A MEAL AND CAME TO YOUR PUB...NEVER AGAIN

Always service with a smile and the food is always really good so we choose here for all our family gatherings and celebrtions

Pub was a bit grubby and my husband's food was the wrong order. My food was lovely though and staff did ask to change the food order.

I booked a table for 1pm, got there and no table reserved for us. My friends went to a table a couple were vacating. Ordered our meal at 1 15, our meal arrived at 2 45. People who came in after us, received their meals. When asked why, they said it was because 1 of us had an allergy. This person was myself, but I had ordered a salad, so what was the problem?. I would appreciate if you can respond to this complaint.

Staff were great but food was really poor cooked dinner was awful and mixed grill the chicken was so white it looked like it had been boiled we took the sausages home for the dog as they were not fit for human consumption

Food is nice, prices are good, there seem to be fewer people nowadays so less of an atmosphere and you have to pay to park.

Do not go here!!! Ws had our drinks snatched and old to leave because our 2 children were sat eating sweets bought elsewhere. The manageress is very rude and not friendly at all. Doesn't smile and won't even entertain talking either customers. The toilets absolutely stink and can be smelt throughout the pub and the food is below average for the price you pay. The young lads behind the bar tho are very pleasant and try and make up for the managers attitude. Not child friendly at all!! We were also fined twice on previous experiences £100 for using the carpark because of car park monitoring system faults!! Also shannon Williams who left the last fake review is the MANAGER!!

The staff were lovely, but waited over an 1hr for our food, I had a rump steak, which was as slim as a piece of cheap bacon and actually tasted like cheap braising steak, disgusting. Paid £15 for a mixed grill aswell, so disgusting my partner couldn't eat it,.brought all meat home for the dog. Every thing on our plate looked as cheap as they could get, but paying alot more. Never eat there again

It is a lovely pub and enjoy being there but I would like to point out that today the smell from the toilets was bad ,just think u ought to know this

Visited for the first time for food on a quiet rainy March afternoon. The staff were lovely and the grub was delicious. Two ales on offer as well as the normal fizzy beverages. All in all we left feeling sure we will return. The only slight negative was the car park. You currently have to enter your reg and buy a ticket at the machine, then claim it back when you order food. This would have been okay, but the ticket machine was playing up. Standing outside in the rain while the machine says 'please wait', then eventually refusing your transaction as a tad frustrating. However I understand this system is due to be removed in a few months.

Amazing family friendly pub, the manager Shannon has turned the place around in the last few months and can see the hardwork her and all the stuff put in on a daily basis. the food is super delicious, and always served quickly. Great atmosphere, and will return! Highly recommend!
