Not local. Called in for an easy tea with the kids. Everything was great. Food lovely, nice chilled atmosphere. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Would come again when in the area. Thank you.

Came down to watch the football today - the manager Steve was fantastic dealt with it being really busy and was very friendly - Jake the Barman was very attentive and brought my drinks to the table even though I didn’t ask - Jake also was running around cleaning the tables and empty glasses - very clean tidy and friendly pub at all times

The staff were lovely, but waited over an 1hr for our food, I had a rump steak, which was as slim as a piece of cheap bacon and actually tasted like cheap braising steak, disgusting. Paid £15 for a mixed grill aswell, so disgusting my partner couldn't eat it,.brought all meat home for the dog. Every thing on our plate looked as cheap as they could get, but paying alot more. Never eat there again

First visit, not planned, but happy. Good service from the bar to the waitress

Microwave chicken, chewy, burnt on outside soft in the middle. Asked if everything was OK and explained they took the food away and didn't return with a fresh meal. When asked are they bringing a fresh meal they said they thought we was done as eten some of the chips, chef said it was because the sauce was on the side. Salad was rotting even though it was fresh out of the bag that morning. Won't return, Manager didn't know how to deal with a complaint was as much use as a chocolate teapot. Worst meal I'd ever had.

When to the Cwrt with a few mates after playing golf. The atmosphere was really nice and chill and was able to enjoy the beer garden with the sun out for a change. Abi was really helpful behind the bar and couldn’t ask for better service. Will be back again soon.

Came here for some food with my other half. The beer garden is very well kept and well looked after. We ordered a cowboy burger and ribs which were all delicious.

Great experience in the Cwrt Rawlin on a Friday, had a few drinks that we ordered on our phones which was very easy and quick. The service was very friendly and helpful, I also had the fish and chips which was delicious! Highly recommend

Great pub! Always a nice vibe at Cwrt Rawlin – friendly staff, good food, and decent prices. Perfect for a chilled drink or grabbing a bite with friends. The Sunday roast hits the spot too. Definitely one of my go-to places in Caerphilly.

Erin provided us with amazing customer service. Attentive, polite and helpful. Despite it being a busy, Mother's Day, all food was fresh, warm and delivered quickly.

Visited tonight for a birthday meal with the family, we all had the gammon and tried with sweet potato fries this time,absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and to be honest one of the nicest meals we've had here. Compliments to Ieuan who cooked our meals. Service from Steve and Angela was great as always, very friendly and efficient. All in all a lovely evening here with a family friendly and warm atmosphere. Well done all!

My partner and I visited the Cwrt Rawlin for lunch today. It was lovely! The food is always really good, I had the chicken Sunday dinner, the plate was absolutely full of food so well worth the money, my partner had the mixed grill and everything was cooked how he likes it. The staff are so friendly and helpful too, Ella was so polite and made sure we were happy with the food. We will definitely be returning again!

It was a very welcome experience, the bar staff were pleasant and helpful, took the orders without any issues, and the overall wait for the food wasn't long (starters and mains) and the food itself was beautiful. Well presented, and tasted lovely! Definitely one of, if not, the Best pub grub I've had in a long time.

We came to watch the rugby with friends and kids. We like the family friendly atmosphere, and we’re always made to feel welcome by Steve and the team. The bar staff are always friendly, and a special shout to Ella and Erin who work tirelessly delivering the really decent food around the pub with a smile!

My husband and my two sons took me to the Cwrt Rawlin in NantGarw for my birthday at the end of February. The meal was delicious and we all very much enjoyed our visit. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be going again and totally recommend. Thank you for your hospitality.

Visited this evening, the Cwrt rawlin is how it used to be!! I genuinely love this pub, I’m so happy to see how it’s grown under new ownership. Steve and Callum are doing the absolute best they can, and they’re doing an amazing job.

Came for a family meal for a birthday and there was a children’s disco for free which all the children enjoyed, been to a few of the children’s events and the children have always enjoyed will definitely be back

Staff were friendly and helpful we arrived a little longer and stayed over our time. Food was great value and very tasteful.

Great place, Great staff ..... but has turned into a bit of a crèche, whereby parents allow their kids to hoolie around, playing tag and screaming ..... It sort of spoils the overall experience of having a "quiet" afternoon drink and bite to eat!!

Easily one of, If not, the best pub in Caerphilly. I was served by Iestyn and Steve who were Very nice and Chill. The Food and Drink was Affordable and Really nice. I had Mozzarella Dough Balls and a Pint of Pepsi Max which only cost me £7.55. My food arrived pretty quickly. The Atmosphere was also really relaxed in all areas of the Pub. Overall, Fabulous Service and Kind Staff. A definite 10/10

I came here with my friends for a meal and a catch up and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. All the staff were very accommodating to us. They waited on us hand and food. One of the staff were called Steve, think he was the manager. The food we had was amazing, cooked to perfection. Thankyou for the great experience!

The guy behind the bar upon arriving seemed to dissapear for a period of time waiting to be served took so long I went and had a seat then eventually going back to the bar he finally served me .. the food was ok but not very warm . The place was freezing iv been to many pubs sadly this pub fell short of the above mentioned .. I will however give tbe waitress a good review as she was more than attending and polite ..

I had a great experience! The service was excellent, and the staff were absolutely lovely—really friendly and welcoming. It’s also a dog-friendly place, which was a big plus. I got to watch the football with the sound on, which made the atmosphere even better. Highly recommend!

Lovely clean and welcoming pub me and my family come atleast twice a week and all of the bar tender now are order and getting it started as soon as they see are car in the car park and we r always greeted as we walk in without fail

It was very quiet considering it was a Sunday. So though service would be decent as every other restaurant in the area was completely booked out. This occasion was shocking. We ordered beef Sunday dinner. Beyond awful. It was seriously at best 3/10. Never expected great. But the cabbage was still pumped full of water, leaving the plate drowned with cabbage water, the yorkshires hadn’t risen, flat, whilst still being burnt on the outside whilst undercooked in the middle, the beef was terrible. Lacklustre. Could tell it wasn’t fresh and just brought in like that, and the gravy was flavourless l. Standard weak bisto. No love out in to it. We also had dessert. Both apple crumbles. One with custard. One with ice cream. Both came out with custard. Told the member of staff that we ordered ice cream for one, he shrugged his shoulders, not a word said and walked away. The one member of staff was useless, he was just a loud mouth pondering to the men watching the football around the bar. No service or customer service skills in him at all. The table was also very sticky upon arrival. I think the standards need rebooting, because the sister pub across the road was rammed full, whilst this was empty, and it’s clear to see why. I won’t be returning. For nearly £50, it was honestly one of worst Sunday di need I have ever tasted.

Came here for a breakfast with my family looked absolutely beautiful really enjoyed it bar staff friendly and atmosphere was spot on thank you Steve and Iestyn and the wonderful cerian for a lovely meal and stunning service

Always amazing coming to my favourite pub. Served by iestyn and Stephen we again had a great experience, he made us feel so welcome and was generous to my mother by giving her loads of her favourite sauce. We had the scampi and the chicken tikka and it was amazing as always

The Cwrt Rawlin pub is Caerphilly’s most hidden gem in my personal opinion. The atmosphere of the pub is unlike any others I’ve been to before staff members all happy and taking pride in they’re service and the food absolutely delicious/delightful

I came in a few days ago and got welcomed straight away! They staff there were incredibly kind and catering towards me and my family. We got served by iestyn and he took our food and drinks orders all night. The food came out extremely fast and was freshly cooked. Will be coming back with my friends to watch sports or even come for the quiz.

Went there to celebrate my daughters birthday it was a quiet night there but it was on a Monday evening,,the staff was very friendly and service was great and had a lovely mixed grill cooked by Ross the chef 👍🏻 thanks very much to all the staff

Absolutely packed, I understand it is Christmas Eve but the service was horrible. One of the workers I have forgotten the name of was very rude with poor customer service skills. Very overwhelming and the food took about half an hour to come. I had booked in advance but at first was declined seating. My meal took half an hour to come and came cold. I ordered the chicken burger. Not happy at all.

Terrible service. There was one particular staff member who was especially rude, however, i can unfortunately not remember his name. We got in and the place resembled a circus! I understand it’s christmas eve but where is the control?! After being forced to wait 30 minutes in the rain for a table we had booked well in advance, the member i previously mentioned actually accused me of lying about the food i ordered to cover up that he had just forgotten and some of us were left to go hungry. After a lot of arguing (which i did not enjoy) they finally brought out our food and it was cold, hard, and missing many crucial parts of the meal. overall would not return, take your festivity someplace better!

Food was right first time and delicious. What makes me come back to this pub is the high quality service and friendly nature of the staff led yesterday by Steve, Callum and Iestyn - nothing is too much trouble and it makes you feel valued and want to come back again.

We were a party of 7 visiting the Cwrt Rawling for the Christmas meal menu. We were greeted by really helpful, attentive and friendly staff. The starters we chose were breaded mushrooms (delish) and prawn cocktail (fresh, chilled with loads of prawns). The Christmas meal was hot and tasty, had a lovely variety of vegetables and a really good amount of turkey. Extra gravy and condiments were provided without having to request them. We had one child’s Christmas meal (10yr old) who chose chicken wings (hot and juicy ) /Christmas turkey meal (really good portion), Chocolate brownie with ice cream - it was all thoroughly enjoyed. Staff 10/10👍

Lovely clean and welcoming pub, amazing and friendly staff. The 2 gents behind the bar in the morning were lovely and kind. They greeted us as we walked in with a big smile. When taking our orders they made sure they were thorough so that our order was correct. Food was delicious as per usual. Will recommend to anyone wanting to try it out.

Not been here for 20 years, so came tonight for my daughters 18th, Didn't have no real choice in cider, so bought a blue wkd, so pushed it to the side, only for the manager to come over to our table & accuse me of letting my 13 Yr old son drinking, it was at his side with the salt & pepper as the table was full of plates.. He checked ctv, found nothing & threatened me with if I find out he did, I'll have to ask you all to leave... Ruined the end of our evening with no apology... Definitely won't be going back
