Amazing food FairPlay and great to see this farm ship thriving has a real bustle when we were there on a Saturday. Has a fantastic breakfast bap and coffee definitely be a back hidden gem of a place

Visited today with my partner whilst in the area. The staff are warm and welcoming, we arrived too late to sample the wonderful breakfast offers, but was invited to sit with a drink whilst we waited for lunch service to start at 12. Sunday dinner was yummy and well priced. Would visit again if in the area.

Found this gem online and being a cafe couple, we gave it a try on a lovely day. First, the place is lovely, and hidden away on an ind. estate. Being a long distance lorry driver, I've found a few like this. The food is very wholesome, so does not need to look like the shovelful of gunge served up in some places. We eat out a lot, and here there was no room for desserts. Prices are very reasonable and I cannot see how any commenters call it overpriced, no way. As for the 'farm shop being too small' comments, - Exactly what else could be on show in a farm shop? Everything was there, on show. We bought some sausages and burgers at the butchers counter, and again, very wholesome. You don't need to pile this stuff on your plate. If I could, I'd give it 6 stars. Well done, and thank you.

Pleasantly surprised by this family-run, locally sourced restaurant restaurant/cafe housed inside of a very industrial looking building. Undeniably our best breakfast in Wales, as we went back again the next morning. Flat White and Cappuccinos were excellent and highly recommend the sweet potato hash and either of the Farmer’s Breakfast, cooked perfectly with fresh and locally sourced eggs, potatoes and meats. Freshly squeezed orange juice was delightful as well. Definitely recommend!

Possibly the best breakfast I've ever eaten. It's always amazing, the bread is fantastic and the home made sausages are a delight.

Got there just before closing this Sunday, 08/06. The place was getting ready to close, but they were great and made us tea 🍵 great service 👍. Menu looks good also 😋.

Breakfast was good there is plenty of room to move around but not a lot of atmosphere ,farm ship smaller than I expected not much choice of products.

Wow, what a hidden gem. First time coming here this morning for my birthday and we ordered 2 young farmers breakfast, 2 coffees and 2 orange juices for my husband and I. Our breakfasts arrived very quickly and oh my gosh it was delicious. We have both said it's probably the best breakfast we have eaten and we eat out very regularly. you can tell the food was fresh and locally sourced and very good quality. The staff there was very friendly and welcoming too. I highly recommend coming here and we will definitely be back

Visited a few times and the place was full, so went online and booked a table. Arrived to an industrial unit with a shop inside and the cafe to the rear. The shop sold all sorts plus a butchers. The restaurant/cafe is quite large and was full so glad we booked. We ordered a large and a medium breakfast. They use welsh real butter on the toast which was amazing, I struggled to eat the large breakfast as it was really big. The food is 10 out of 10 the service was fantastic. We had a take away slice of apple pie as it looked so good. Definitely the best breakfast in the valley and surrounding areas. It was superb. Book ahead to ensure you get a seat.

Great local venue. Food cooked almost on front of you. Lovely casual place to meet with friends or to hire the hall for different occasions. The food is really good and plenty of it.

Not very impressed with the Sunday lunch I had. I know that I'm awkward as I don't eat meat and have a dairy and nut allergy. We informed them of this on Friday and once again on Sunday morning. I had vegan sausages which were hot and okay, three very small roasties and a small tray of veg (carrots/frozen peas/ broccoli/cabbage). I couldn't have the mash or suede as they had butter in. I asked if I could have a parsnip and they did give me one. The veg wasn't very hot and I could have done with more potatoes seeing as I couldn't have the mash or suede. The service was good and the servers were helpful. The room itself wasn't very warm, so it wasn't a great experience. I've had much nicer, bigger meals for the price I paid. If you're a meat eater you definately get a better deal here but the veggies/vegan no so much. Sorry !

This venue is a fantastic place to visit. My wife and I have visited on a number of occassions and have never been disappointed. The premises are great; the staff friendly and helpful; and the food is fantatsic. I would recommend the "Old Farmer" which is very filling. However, if really famished try the "Young Farmer". The only downside is that it is not easy t find and requires outside signage

First time visitor today, looks a bit industrial from outside as you would expect. However great welcome lovely and comfortable inside and food was very tasty and locally sourced. The portions were all very large and staff really friendly but efficient. We had Sunday lunch and the beef I had was gorgeous and sourced from Fforch Farm. I had a starter of potato and leek soup with fresh bread which was really tasty. More than enough vegetables were brought to the table to have with my beef all of which were really fresh and tasty. The desserts were huge portions and very tasty. Don't think I need a meal until Wednesday after all that! Very reasonably priced and will definitely return.

Afternoon tea ...poor quality for the price ..11 tiny sandwhiches between 8 cold mini pizza samosa mini sausage roll..fillings in the sandwhiches very poor, not enough for 1 each of anything

Afternoon tea is appalling for what you pay. £16 for 2 little sandwiches a mini pizza, samosa, sausage roll and 2 mini cakes. Could have had a cooked dinner for £12 🤣

Just arranged a wake here for an elderly family member the food and cakes provided were outstanding and plentyful

Most of the shelves in the farm shop were empty, not like the photos and we were told we couldn’t order for 30 minutes as the kitchen was busy but less than half the tables were occupied, shame as we’d driven 30-40 min based on other reviews and photos.

Stopped here for breakfast and I had the small breakfast and husband had the large breakfast (which was huge) Both were cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Would recommend but maybe a choice of pancakes or granola & yoghurt or even just something on toast would give the menu a bit more choice.

Well worth a visit! They have a farm shop with lots of great produce. Also a cafe with home made food. There is also a function room for hire if your holding a party

A group of us visited for breakfast last week expecting a quality breakfast. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I know prices have increased, but for £7.25 the breakfast was poor. My bacon and mushrooms were cold and lukewarm beans. I sent mine back, but my friends didn’t and just put up with it. I’ve had cold food here before, so was very disappointed the issue hadn’t been rectified and felt awful for recommending the breakfast to friends who hadn’t been there before. It’s a lovely venue, but has definitely put me off having food there for a while again.

Lovely menu to chose from and a good selection of beverages available. Absolutely gorgeous food... Every meal was cooked to perfection. friendly staff who were all very helpful. Will definitely pay another visit soom

Went there for the 1st time, friendly and helpful staff. Tasty chocolate muffin, I will be back to try the food in the restaurant since the kitchen was already closed when I arrived. Now I know it closes at 4pm :)

Great food and friendly staff. Visited a few times and never disappointed. Freshly made coffee is a must too. Service is fast and the staff are very friendly. Only thing that lets the place down is that there are no windows. Great beer garden to sit in the Summer thou. Highly recommended

I travelled up from Cardiff for a meal with my friends who are local to the Cwm farm. All our meals orders were pre-booked and they were cooked to perfection. Staff were really friendly, I ordered a Tequila Rose and unfortunately they were out, so one of the staff members advised they could make me something similar (delicious) the lady even gave it to me on the house. Worth the 45 minutes travel time most definitely. Thank you very much x

The quality of the vegetables was fantastic, they were prepared from fresh and cooked to perfection. We chose Sunday Lunch and both had the roast lamb. The lamb was incredible, the portion of it was perfect, it wasn’t the usual thin as possible sliced meat you get elsewhere, the slices of lamb were a decent size and felt like you were getting your moneys worth. I love that they offered a little side dish of cauliflower and cheese, again freshly prepared veg and tasty cheese. The gravy was not too runny or too thick, a nice medium that I think most people would enjoy! Yorkshire pudding big and fluffy too! Only criticism was no sugar was served with our coffee and we had to ask, but not a big deal. The location is unique! It’s an industrial park, and the restaurant is a little hidden gem within, you feel like you have walked into a barn/farm/butchers. It’s really cool! They also have a little shop with fresh meat to take home. Also have jams, cheeses, wines, veg and fruit to purchase! It was definitely a unique yet magnificent experience! Also they have a variety of fresh puddings on display to choose from and a little ice cream parlour station! We did not have any because we were so full after our main meal!

Visited for breakfast with a friend and it was lovely. The food was well cooked and very tasty, was full as an egg. Venue is great, plenty of seating and toilets on site. There is also plenty of parking, which is free. They have a farm shop, which had some lovely produce on sale. All in all a great placec to visit for some food or a drink.

Food is incredible here. I always go for breakfast so all I can comment on but damn it's good. Always hot, fresh and service is always on point.

Epic burgers! Took a chance on this place while passing through town. Seemed to be more of a Cafe / Restaurant than a farm shop but the food was 1st class. Small place so worth calling/booking if you plan to visit at peak times. Staff were friendly & helpful.

Lovey place but the farm shop was smaller than expected. We had lovely food and it was reasonably priced. The staff couldn’t do enough for us! If any negative, then the environment for a nice meal wasn’t great we we were in the back room but would certainly return for a carvery.

Went for breakfast based on reviews and was not disappointed! Delicious, well cooked, big plate breakfast to start off the day. It seems to be located in a small industrial estate but it is lovely inside and definitely more farm shop feel than factory.We also went back for Sunday lunch which was also very good and reasonably priced.Staff are all great, really friendly and helpful. We will be back again soon, go pay them a visit you won't be disappointed

Disappointed with the service orders hot drinks and toasted tea cakes had drinks but the toasted tea cakes never arrived went into find out what happened told the guy who was serving just he just moaned give him a refund and turned his back on me no apology nothing and the girl on the till done a refund and still no apology for the missing tea cakes I think a week in customer service school would work wonders for these ignorant staff

Service, staff, food, all great. For over a year my nephew and I have been coming here once a week for coffee and breakfast, But until recently I never even bothered to look at prices, I just pay by card and leave. I don't have statements, but what's changed is I now have the Barclays app and this morning it advised me I had spent £24.50 there. 2 cappuccinos, cheese and onion on toast, veggie breakfast and a scone to go. It is truly expensive, too expensive for me so it will be the last time that we will go there. I can buy a lot of food for that in a supermarket that can feed me for a week.

Great hidden gem tucked away in some industrial units. It doesn't look much but had a wonderful Sunday breakfast. Good range of choices all well cooked to order. Only have the "Young Farmers" breakfast if you are actually a young farmer who can work it off in the fields!

What a little gem this was, lovely staff, good menu, excellent quality food, we recommend the "farmers breakfast" it was well presented & very tasty. There is an attached farm shop selling fresh local meats, ciders, honey etc. Prices were very reasonable

Very disappointed, based on a industrial unit

I called into the resteraunt with my wife for lunch. It is not the first time we have been here and thank goodness we werre not disappointed in that everything is as good as it was. I ordered the Young Farmers whilst my wife ordered the Old Famers. Mine was a 15 portion beakfast whilst my wife's was a 9 portion breakfast. What was nice that there were a number of options with each meal such as toast or fried bread; yes or no to black pudding; beans or tomatoes or both. We also had a good coffe each and were very pleased that the cost was well under £20. Our server was very young and new and nervous however he was superb and was very efficient and pleasant. We will definitely be calling in again.

A great place for breakfast with a warm, friendly welcome from the fabulous staff.

Attended for a rugby event. Only 2 staff at the bar, one taking the money and the other actually pouring the drinks so there was a constant queue. When attending specifically to watch a rugby match you dont want to spend 15 mins of it queuing every time you want a drink 😕. Similarly only 2 unisex loos so again a constant queue. Please install a urinal for the men and leave the loos free for the ladies. Also, suggest you improve the big screen for televised events. Blurry, buffering and no volume, and the TV at the bar was some 5 minutes out of sync. On the plus side, the vocal/guitarist post match was excellent 👍

Often come here for a coffee and lunch with friends, lovely environment especially when your outside in the sun. Food is great as well, my only negative which is why it’s dropped a star is the price, while the food is good it is overpriced.

Watched the rugby games here, with my friends, thoroughly enjoyed, free curry rice and chips ht, and Wales won. Only downside no volume on tv, in the maun room.

Lovely small restaurant with function room and bar, with a farm shop for added bonus!

I called into this establishment with my wife after a shopping trip to nearby Treorchy. Unfortunately the cafe is nt easy to find and could do with better signage from the main road. However, once there we had excellent service and very good food. I haven't been there for quite some time and am pleased to say that everything is as good as it was on previus visits.

Recommend booking here, as I have visited on numerous occasions only to be turned away by staff, even though there seem to be tables free. Which is a shame as when I have eaten here the service and food is very good. My last visit was Sunday 5th December. I have visited on various other weekdays with the same result. Noticed on my latest visit that you now how reserved and times when people will be attending, thank you for your below response we will be back again :) and booking in the future.

Had a great evening Friday at Cwm Farm Shop. Brilliant live music, the food was great and staff all helpful. Service was a little slow but can't complain much. All reasonably priced and well worth a visit for a great night out.
