I often go to Langtons and have intended to visit the relatively recently open Courthouse Cafe. I have heard rave reviews about the food there so popped in today to see what all the fuss was about. Although the majority of food is British, I had one of the specials which was chilli with either rice or homemade chips (or both). I opted for chips and thank goodness I did. I can honestly say that I had the best home cooked chilli and chips that I have ever tasted (including my own). I also added a little Tiptree tomato sauce on the side - Yum! All for the ‘princely’ sum of £4.50. What an absolute bargain! There is so much choice there! I will definitely be going back and recommending the place to all my friends. It’s only a small cafe, but it’s a very welcoming place to visit, and they do take away food too. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Wow what an incredible brunch. I wasn’t expecting too much but boy do they toast well. I thought how could it be different to what I make at home but I was so wrong. The best brunch experience I’ve ever had!

Tigs was a last minute discovery when I was in Sheffield Centre waiting for a train. Just behind the Cathedral, Tigs offered a friendly welcome, excellent coffee and perfect bagels. The cakes looked good too and there were plentiful vegan options. The helpings were good value, with generous portions and interesting toppings.
