Costa Coffee in Ashfield

Luvly cuppa!... and one of the Costa tasty butter mince pies after a good walk into town. Lovely refreshment drink and food. And a touch of kind hospitality for the days day . And an exceptionally very nice clean smart inside fresh air clean and good Costa style decor ... excellent ! And tops polite patient service as I waited for my app taking a long time to wake up. Excellent 5 stars definitely today Wed 16th October 4pm, to staff on duty and who keeps this cafe so nice good ! ...nice tuneful cheering audio too. Many thanks. Good cheer for tough days. Thanks to staff and Costa.

Nicest staff in any Costa I’ve ever been 2. Heather and Adam make it feel like you’re in a local cafe where they treat everyone like friends or family. I’ve been in so many times and they’re always the same. Made my Monday seeing how lovely they are to everyone.

This is the best Costa I've ever been in for the staff alone. The manager is always out on the front line ans is gregarious, funny, friendly. Best service in Sutton and certainly in the Costa brand. The down side is the appearance of the store but that's certainly not their fault. It's always really busy now too, it wasn't like that a year or so ago. Glad to see they're doing well.

the cappuccino froth was so dissipated that it was just half filled cup with milk and burnt coffee. This was one of the worst coffee's I have had from a Costa. I won't be ordering again

Doesn’t look much from outside but service, quality and atmosphere inside is on message with the Costa brand values.

Arrived very late and freezing cold. I live a 5 minute walk from the store there is no reason food shouldn't be hot.

Always a good experience at Costa. Lovely drinks and food. I always order a large soya cinnamon bun latte and a cookie or rocky road and it’s always amazing. Love how you can add a note as I always ask if mine can be made extra hot. Lovely staff who sometimes reply to my note I leave.highly Recommend. Good value for money and always arrives on time.

Food stone cold. Cold drink half empty??? Took so long since placing order to the food being delivered. Really disappointed

Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about allergens. Pity the whole of Sutton-in-Ashfield is so run down and especially around this area as visiting this place isn't a pleasure. But once inside it's great and a far cry to the dump surrounding it.

Order arrived on time. Was very disappointed in the standard of the festive toastie the bread was only half toasted on one side furthermore the content was awful there was bacon but literally no turkey no stuffing and a very huge lack of content that was hard to pass as a anything resembling what should have been inside. Very poor quality and a total waste of money.

No where did it state which drink was the different milk for allergy purposes, very poor!

Had a regular hot chocolate as a part of my order it was only just about half full when it arrived to my door, there was no sign of spillage either so they hadn’t filled it as they should have, the muffin I had was very dry and seemed as though it had been sat in the display unit for some time, shame, that used to be my go to costa.

My drinks were spilling and leaking.

Food is often very dry,definitely not fresh food. I often get my coffee first, and much later, my food arrives

As always Costa is 100% happy... what more is there to say. what I will say is I have never ordered online ever, no takeaways or pizza this is the first time. And I am very impressed My coffee was still hot and the gentleman that came to the door was nice. I will be ordering again.

All good, hot drinks and all order correct. Delivery lady was a bit blunt and rude not looking up from phone once. Even whist handing over order and nearly dropped the lot despite this she still continued to look at floor whist on phone.. because she was more interested in her conversation on her phone.

Food and drinks were never delivered-driver spilled the drinks so said he would cancel the order, so I could place a new order. He set the order to delivered on my account! I never received ANY of my order. And I’m still waiting on a response if I can get a refund!

It used to be a pub denmans bottoms if I remember correctly. Hmm had few entertaining wknds in there then. So glad costa didn’t alter the outside so much and also glad it was not knocked down. Do so like Costa a good British company good coffee chocolate twists too nom nom

Food freezing and delivery time kept going up and up they must have made food well in advance of driver getting to store

Can not say I'm happy with the service as I ordered a drink, toasty and muffin said it would arrive between 10:45 and 11:05 never received any of it, ended up getting a refund for what I've ordered, and went somewhere else.

The staff are always friendly & never take themselves to seriously. When the staff are serving you they always do it with a smile on there faces. The manager always knows how to organise her team on the evidence I have seen. In a morning this Costa does get very busy. They are very good at cleaning the tables. Disabled friendly. This Costa is among the best in the middle of Nottinghamshire

Ordered once and got wrong one sent them had to reorder to get my actual delivery for things to be missing

Was missing an item, and swapped another item for something neither of us liked. The munchie muffin was vile. Ham and cheese toastie was burnt and too hard to bite. After spending over £30 on an order I expect it to be somewhat nice 🤷🏻‍♀️

I came to Costa in Sutton-in-Ashfield this afternoon around 3:30pm. One lady stood out to me, her name began with a B. I'm hoping you can find out who she is so she can get the recognition she deserves. She was lovely when I was ordering. Chatting to my daughter and letting her pay etc. But when my friends baby knocked her drink all over herself, table, chairs and floor she was so reassuring and made her feel so much better. She cleaned it up straight away and got her a fresh drink. I don't write reviews but the lady deserves such a big thank you!

This is a pleasant cafe with well spaced tables and modern decor. I only went in for a coffee so my rating is based simply on that and the friendly service l received There is wheelchair access and facilities and nearby parking

I got a different cake than I ordered. I ordered the jubilee one but was given the passion fruit one. I have an intolerance to the passion fruit so this was a waste of money

Ordered costa and saying the bloke was on a bike, it came really quick!

I’m leaving this review from another order I received from here. As you can have a terrible service and orders cancelled on you and no option to review. Total time wasters and no communication surrounding order. Avoid. Just eat are no better as they don’t give you many options as to where the order might be, just generic answers.

Great drinks as always. Maybe could have been slightly hotter but it's nothing that can't be fixed and what do you expect on a 5 min journey.

Missing coffee…… even though everything else was ok. Wish you would stop putting cakes in same bag as hot drinks. Could not contact direct to explain missing item. So have reported for a refund through just eat

The food was of normal Costa quality which I enjoy Sadly a mistake was made and coffee placed in my coffee-free belgian chocolate frappe. The store manager was apologetic when I contacted and offered a way in which to make ammends so I can't fault service on this side. Just saddly means for now I continue to crave my Belgian chocolate drink as the coffee one I can't have.
