Doesn't take butlins welcome pack vouchers or have a sign stating that fact. Had to queue 40 mins to find that out.

You can always get a good coffee at Costa so not much need to cover that here. What sets this one apart is the service. The staff work so hard with the constant queue in a very noisy environment of the tent. Clearly some folks were upset with the waiting times, but I take my hat off to the team who were working flat out to give the best possible service. Just be patient!

We ate here yesterday and I was amazed at how expensive it was and horrified to see a cost of £1.50 each added for a tiny pot of sauce that no other restaurant has ever charged for before. My 3 grandchildren had tomato sauce each and my daughter had garlic mayo but said it didn't taste nice so requested some mayo. This cost extra £7.50 of which we were not made aware of before ordering. Daylight robbery. Also be aware they charge a 10% surcharge so makes a very expensive evening. My 5 year old has a milk intolerance and my daughter asked if his meal would have milk in which she was told it didn't but shortly after eating his face was very sore and itchy so obviously some cross contamination somewhere in the kitchen. I thought it was mandatory for allergens to be available to read, ie Natashas Law! The pizzas cost my daughter and I an extra £10 each for next size up and stuffed crust! Mine was quite nice but my daughter said hers tasted odd. Have had better from takeaway places. Will not visit again or recommend. On a positive note the young lady serving us was very pleasant.

We usually go upstairs to the Seaview Restaurant but this time we chose to stay downstairs in the London Inn. The very jolly baristress, Julie, took our order and we settled down in comfy chairs at a corner table. My friend had scampi, new potatoes, garden peas and salad, and I had the lime fishcakes with new potatoes, garden peas and salad. We usually have chips when we eat out but the new potatoes were fabulous, a lovely change. The chef, Alex, is a wonderful cook, very polite and charming. We had an interesting chat with Julie after our meal and she told us of the history of the building - it's a couple of hundred years old! We love Watchet and everything about it!

This pub in Minehead boasts a fantastic location and a spacious setting, complete with a children's play area. However, the play area wasn’t lit in the evening, making it difficult to use after dark. The food was decent but nothing exceptional, and the menu felt a bit limited. Overall, a pleasant spot, but there’s room for improvement in both the dining options and outdoor facilities.
