Cosgrove Bar in Belfast

Been 1st weekend in Feb 2025, good solid bar with good people both side of the bar.

Bought a carryout and got a recap

Proper Belfast boozer with realistic prices & not too far from the tourist traps. Well worth a visit for that true NI experience.

Prosecco deal is to DIE for and company is even better. What a spot!

Excellent service and a really warm welcome. Not your typical tourist pub, and a great pint of guinness was served by the very friendly landlord. Warm hospitality from the local punters as well. Highly recommended!

Great bar with nice staff, friendly patrons and good value

We nipped in for a quick pint and a sit down. It was quite quiet but the barman was friendly and welcoming. My one criticism was that it had a funny smell. The Scottish cup final was on and there was no regalia, so I didn't know if we should be yelling for Rangers or not, so we just sat quietly 🙂

Very accommodating to customers but no good for watching a match because TV audio not rooted through speakers

Best pub in Belfast...guinness is amazing

The staff and bouncer were very friendly. The service was good. There was live music and the singer also was friendly and spoke with us. The interior is more chic than many bars around. The crowd was slightly older than some other pubs (which I thought was a good thing not having a bunch of drunk 20-somethings around). They do have crisps as snack food.

Great pub.People don't realise what's on their doorstep.

Was here on 12th June and really loved the place. While I could only stay for an hour I was made feel very welcome by the friendly locals and staff. John who sat at the bar told some very interesting stories about the area. I will have to return for a proper visit soon. Thanks to all.

Without a doubt an excellent bar, locals will make you feel wanted and mix that with the beer and the craic, a great day is promised

Smells like pee, cheap drinks, shady people there on paddy's day, if you are American watch yourself there at night Dont let anyone buy you a drink

The Cosgrove bar is a local pub base in Belfast it is a great place for a quiet drink and a catch up with friends and family or a drink on your own to get your thoughts together and plan your next adventure, the place is OK and it is what it is, friendly place to in joy a drink of your choice,

Very friendly crowd..duke box blaring with wolf tone tunes...every one dancing and singing along...great craic.

Always have a good time when I call in.. Big john has made it his own.

Different draft beers and many spirits are served here, you can enjoy them on the bar or on cosy tables aroud it.
