Got a take away from here on Sunday evening absolutely terrible beef and blackbean was tasteless and beef was unbeatable chips over cooked def not be back

Great Chinese only issue I've had is that certain staff will help you with your order and another won't. For example asking a staff for curry sauce in a tub instead of on the meal and one week they do this for you and the next someone else wont.

A loyal customer order every week without fail. Always helpful until today where I couldn’t change a curry from chicken to beef. Even offered to pay the difference. . disappointed 😢 as apparently language barrier in kitchen failed us all today.

Well. We ordered 7 courses for a family get together we were all looking forward to. Now, errors happen , but we were given another large order which was not ours. You know the scene, everyone at the table and opening 7 dishes and 7 sides. Took a few minutes of everyone tucking in and eating to realise this was not our order. I rang Chinese Chef and they dealt with the issue superbly. Apologised, and sent a full cash refund to my front door in 30 minutes. 5 stars for turning a complaint into me being an advocate for them. I will defo use them again and do should you.

Takeaway only restaurant. Phoned it in, was ready when I arrived. Quick, friendly service and food was all nice and hot. All the dishes were really tasty. Lots of flavour and not really oily like alot of other local chineses. You know its good when you dont get that stodgy bloated feeling after a chinese. Good big potions and proper chips. Honestly couldn't fault any of the dishes. Chicken fr, Singapore noodles, honey chilli chicken, chicken curry, chicken balls and chips, gravy and curry sauces and 2 free bags of crackers. I'm tucking into the leftovers from last night and remembered it totally justifies more than 4.1 review. Well done. Our new goto chinese.

First time ever going here and didn't even end up ordering. Went round at 10:30pm all the TVs were turned off, so I didn't know what I could order and they only take cash. Seriously, what business today only takes cash? Staff could not be bothered. Will never be back, I'll stick to The Silk.

Been a go to take out in Carryduff for a while, but the last month or two, there has been a large dip off in quality.

Save your money.. don't order from this Chinese. ordered chicken curry with fried rice.🤮 1. The chicken is definitely not chicken it tasted more like pork 😫. 2. The rice was that hard. The whole thing in general was tasteless. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE 🤮

Called in on the off chance.. actually one of the best chinese meals ive had. Surprised me, its better than ive been used too

For me it’s the best Chinese Takeaway in Carryduff. Reasonably priced and has now got some kind of Pizza establishment within the premises if that’s your thing. Personally only thing I’d like to see is being able to pay by card.

Worst salt and chilli chicken I have tasted! First and definitely the last time I will order. Very expensive as well.

We just have had a really delicious Duck Chow Mein & Chicken Chow Mein. Huge portions, very tasty food. Food was still piping hot when my partner brought it home. Well definitely be back. Can highly recommend.

Food was nice. Ordered off a menu we got through the door and when I ordered it seemed way more expensive than it should have been. Turns out menus being delivered are out of date and for a basic takeaway for 2 people it cost almost £30, which is way too much in my opinion. Also they only take cash which seems crazy these days. Would love to use it more regularly but I came away feeling it was too expensive for what we got and it was inconvenient.

If your thinking of going to this place, forget it. Just had a chicken curry with fried rice. Tasteless. Can't think when I had a worse curry. Also got onion rings , not even proper home made onion rings, these things were the small frozen type you can buy in any of the big stores. Bring your wallet because this rubbish also cost an arm and a leg. Stay well away

Awful. Futile smell coming off food when opened, un-eatable. Not the best , rather disappointing after many great reviews

Decided to try here instead of ordering from my go to chinese and was pleasantly surprised. The spring rolls are great and come with a really tasty dip. The sweet and sour is good too and well portioned. Only thing I would avoid is the chicken noodle soup as I thought I’d order it to see what it would be like but it was very bland.

Best Chinese takeaway in the north. Food is always beautiful and staff very friendly. Orders are always correct and they are quick.

Just had another fabulous meal from China chef, Thai green prawn curry absolutely gorgeous would highly recommend it & the salted chilli chips are amazing 😋

Food was amazing! The only reason it isn't 5 stars is I ordered via telephone for collection and was advised it would take 45 minutes for the food to be ready. I arrived to collect 45 minutes later and the food wasn't ready. I then waited outside in the cold for almost another hour for the food to be ready. Food was ordered at 7, I only got it at 8:40. I understand that with covid the waiting outside the store was necessary. The biggest issue was people arriving to order in person after I arrived, getting their food before my order was even being prepared. But I have to say, the food was exceptional. I will be ordering from China Chef again for sure, maybe just ordering for delivery next time! PS. It would be great if you could order online and pay by card! Nobody carries cash anymore!

First time user after menu came through the door this morning and was stunned at how large the portions were on arrival. O taking the bag off the very nice and polite driver I was amazed at how heavy the carry out bag was. That surprise was amplified when I opened my deep fried salted chilli chicken wings starter box and saw what in itself could have been a main course. The main was the beef in black bean sauce which coupled with the rice was very good. Only problem is now I can barely move LOL. Very pleased highly recommended

Ordered from here after visiting the parents in Carryduff, the food was so hot I had to leave it to cool before eating - first Chinese takeaway I can say that about in yonks. The food was top notch, second only maybe to Gaze in Belfast. I order the smoked chicken & a curry chip, highly recommended.

Food here is generally good but they deal in cash only no cards accepted however there is an atm at nearby centra.

Great curry sauce awful chips and huge chunks of cheap chicken. Pity the place should be better

Love this Chinese. Very helpful staff and allow you to taste from the buffet before selecting. Any of the food my family has tried has always been great quality,taste and hot !!

Lovely good and the staff are very accommodating, managed to get my order 100% compared to some places.

I have now visited this place 3 times as I have moved local and on 3 occasions they have got my order wrong counter staff are more concerned with talking to friends or amongst each other than taking your order right will never be back

Heard this was a nice chinese but didnt get to find out as half the order we placed wasnt delivered. Wont be ordering again.

Absolutely delicous food. The buffet that is on every day is beautiful. Great if you would like a bit of everything and cant decide. Also great to try things you havent before like Pan Pan chicken. Fresh chips are amazing crispy and fluffy on inside. Really nice staff as well plus the actual shop is exceptionally nice. Massive TV to watch while waiting on food and comfy seating with heating. Love this chinese. Highly recommended:)

Chips are horrible wok this way use fresh home made chips waste of money new century with new name food still as bad use real potatoes not frozen chips
