Went here for a nice little impromptu meal on a Saturday evening and was pleasantly surprised. The venue itself is really nicely decorated and as we got there, it was clearly a popular choice as almost every table was taken. Like many of the other reviews here there are some issues, the service is incredibly slow and I could see that if you're not patient how this can be annoying. Drinks took too long (they even made our drinks and forgot to deliver them from the bar to the table) it took a long time from when we were seated initially to take our order (probably 15mins) and the food came out in bits rather than all together. One main (vegan) took almost 30 mins to arrive, when all other food items were delivered. Which didn't make sense. That being said the food was tasty and although the service was slow the servers were friendly and warm. There was a nice drinks selection including cocktails with some coming out in really fancy glasses. I would really love to give this place 5 stars but they just need to tweak a few things to make it a real hidden gem. Definitely will be coming back and recommending this place to others!

Great food, grrrrreat pisco sour - the ceviche was mouth watering. Totally recommend. Super friendly service and a sweet courtyard to dine in.

Great decor and the outside area is very nice. The staff was nice and helpful given he was the only person serving. The recommended dishes were nice, particularly the ceviche which was an amazing combination of textures. It was an ok experience but I think they need to alter their prices to reflect the dishes a bit better. For instance, The sticky rice dish was small for a main and quite basic for the price, as were the cassava fries that certainly should not have cost what they did. The flan dessert was hard, rather than usual flan texture and was inedible. £90 for two with one cocktail each was a bit much for the food we had.

It was for a night out with bunch of friends. Foods are good, but I didn’t find the manager the most approachable and friendly. Maybe because we didn’t order much drinks as she expected (did order tasting course and at least one drink each) as staffs kept asking us if we want more drinks. But we physically were very full and could not take any more drinks. I felt like she wanted to throw us away as soon as we’re done. Service charge was added to the bill and of course we’ve paid for it, but we didn’t receive good service to be honest. Don’t think I’ll go back.

Great little Peruvian restaurant. Lovely cocktails and some stand out dishes. All plates were good at least many great. Food served as ready so be prepared to all share for best experience. Loved the atmosphere will be coming back. Do try for something different in Lewisham.

Really good peruvian food, hard to believe one was sitting in Lewisham! Very good pico sours as well. We went on saturday night and the place was packed and very lively. Decor is full-on Peru! Service was friendly (albeit hard to attract waiting staff's attention sometimes, perhaps because they were so busy). Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

You can tell the quality of the ingredients are outstanding - my hat off to the chef to bring those flavours together. Service was impecable. I won’t comment how amazing the drinks were! Thanks Chicha.

Visited Chicha London for the first time during their day of the dead festivities. This place is awesome - I couldn’t believe I was in Lewisham! The service was great, the food perfectly balanced. I ordered 4 dishes and still have room for pudding and a shot of Pisco. We were politely informed that our time was up and we were moved to their cute bar next door where we danced for a while. Overall a great experience. I love Chicha and can’t wait to go back ❤️

We went to this restaurant after seeing their Instagram post advertising their day of the dead event. Our table was booked for 7.30pm. We ordered food, cocktails and a bottle of wine only to be told at 8.45pm that we needed to vacate the table at 9pm. We mentioned that tables are usually booked for 2 hours and still had over half a bottle of wine left only to be told that it was only for 90 minutes tonight because they were busy. They did not tell us this before we ordered. If they had, at least then we would have been prepared and not ordered more than we could have eaten within that time. We should definitely have been told this when ordering a bottle of wine that we could not have responsibly drank within the ten minutes. We left leaving our wine as we did not want to down half a bottle of wine. The whole experience was upsetting. It was confusing for us because there were other tables that had been there before us and they weren’t asked to leave. We feel that we were targeted because there were only two of us which is very unprofessional. The food was ok, could have been hotter. I get that the restaurant wants to make money but there seemed to be a real hunger for it at this place. The tables were rammed and we felt pressured to over order. Needless to say we will not be returning to this place.

I absolutely loved everything about this place. The cocktails are fantastic, the food from starter to dessert was exquisite! And not to forget the ambience of the interior and the vibe is something special. 10/10 from me. The Key Lime Pie is a must.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary (and our first night out since having our baby) it did not disappoint. The food was incredible, I can't stop thinking about the Taco de adobo. And the cocktails were great. The ambiance is awesome, even on a midweek evening and the staff especially our waitress Tia were really attentive and knowledgeable, we loved all of her recommendations.

A last minute decision to go as a group of friends last night. What a great decision that turned out to be. Welcoming staff, great food & cocktails. Highly recommended - get in there whilst you can, a real gem on the London restaurant scene.
