Cheeky Chicken in Midlothian

Got a munchie box, had a good few from here and have always been great. Got one tonight and i get 4 bits of donner meat and stone cold chips Really not happy with this at all

The food from this restaurant is disgusting. Tough and dry chicken, tasteless pizza, warm salad, pakora was like dough. Awful.

First time for my friend and I, pleasantly surprised. Lovely enviroment, very welcoming. Staff were very helpful and well presented. Food was delicious, good portions and fairly priced. 5⭐️

Lovely restaurant with friendly, helpful staff. The food ws delicious and such a varied menu. All 6 of us enjoyed it very much and good value for money. I would highly recommend Cheeky Chicken for a fun get together.

Beautiful tasty food. Pasta el pomodoro was really good and the chicken wings were better than kfc. Masala dosa with the right amount of tasty filling. No leftovers. Will definitely come back.

We were at this restaurant for dinner . The menu is so varied fish and chips / Italian pasta - pizza. Curries/wraps/burgers/ice cream / cocktails etc - the list goes on ! Restaurant recently refurbished . Very smartly done. Air con tvs etc . Full drinks menu too. Staff efficient and very cheerful . They also do takeaway and home deliveries . The menu was very reasonably priced . Portions generous . We will be back ! Fantastic value for money without compromising on quality 😀

Absolutely amazing Definitely recommend the butter chicken and kemu rice. Deco is brilliant also. Definitely be back. Staff were lovely and food was just outstanding ❤️

Booked here to watch the opening game of the euros Scotland v Germany, 14 pers in our group, the staff where so accommodating and provided us with the party area so we could all be together, the food and drink was fantastic and the staff where always on hand to take our orders

Greedy company who will give you the wrong order and try and make you believe your losing marbles as they will argue the issue instead of refunding or returning with the right order

Was Excellent food , there was friendly staff , restaurant was clean and tidy no complaints all needs met 💯

Had a value meal, chips ok kebab meat ok salad ok wings very pale and need cooking more( colour equals flavour !) also tasteless and had an odd taste . I ordered a burger also but never came. I never bothered calling back and won’t use again .

what can i say but poor. the app is terrible and they take an age to make the food. tried ti use the app but it's hopeless. gave up on that. tired to phone as well but that's complicated. must admit the family do like their pizzas

Just had a delivery off kebabs and yet again they were delicious, never had anything other than delicious food from cheeky chicken

Ordered at 5:24pm - estimated to arrive between 6:10pm and 6:30pm. Phoned at 6:15pm was told driver had just left and she’ll be 3 minutes. Didn’t get order till 6:50pm. Food was uneatable. Everything was spicy (never ordered chilli) and tasted like fish and rice (fried chicken wings and chicken nuggets). Wasn’t even offered an apology, except ‘we’re very busy’ from restaurant, and ‘we’re trying to deliver orders to everybody’. Will never ever use again. That’s £35 in the bin!

after having a poor experience at canton i had to shake it up with some good old chips and chicken😂🤣 the peri peri chips are beautiful and have such nice spices and the chicken is perfect. If you want chicken done right pop down to cheeky chicken🧡 🤣

I ordered a wrap meal, 5 chicken strip meal and 3 pieces of fried chicken. The 3 pieces of chicken were a sour disgusting and mainly all bone. I’m still hungry. The order was also missing a juice and chips and when I rang they sent the juice only and called me a liar when I said the chips were also missing! This is the third time in a row the order from here has been wrong. Gave them the benefit of the doubt as the first time the chicken was lovely but 3/4 times it’s been wrong and disgusting so will never be back!

Ordered from here this evening. Delivery got to over an hour late and the restaurant was uncontactable. Eventually the driver called and was incredibly rude, shouting at me down the phone. Cancelled order thru just eat. An hour and a half after delivery was due the driver appeared at my door, I told him order had been cancelled and he proceeded to shout at my in my garden. I had to ask him multiple times to leave my property. The worst takeaway in Edinburgh. Avoid at all costs

By far the WORST restaurant I’ve ever ate from. The quality of food is atrocious. Don’t know how they’re still in business.

For a busy time of the week the place was dead. food was expensive for what you got and the staff where ignorant and didn't know English or know how to shower.the food took ages and parts where still frozen. kid you not the boy dropped a bit of chicken picked it up wiped the dirt off with his hand and put it on my plate. appalling. my wife had diarrhoea for a week after eating that soggy bit of chicken off the floor.

I ordered food online hubby went to collect. Kebab meat dry, chips soggy, Chicken in rice with curry sauce, hardly any curry sauce rice very dry, chicken pffft 3 small pieces and few raw red onions and they have cheek to charge 5.99 for that. Tried once but never again Disgusting very disappointing, went right in bin

Ordered as a take away and was extremely happy with what I received. Such a great quality and the value was perfect. Will definitely be getting food here again. Was very happy to see some vegetarian options too.
