Caked in Bread ltd in South Northamptonshire

Great filled rolls and an excellent selection of cakes and tarts. They also have Lavazza coffee! You can sit in or outside.

I am a regular visitor to the bakery. The staff are really friendly and happy. The Christmas selection of treats are a must. The mince pies are really tasty with a juicy filling.There are 5 different ones in a box. Much better than supermarkets. Also, amazing fruit cake a huge slice,gingerbread and short bread not to be missed! I also have a filled roll for lunch. There is a large choice of fillings, all fresh. Both hot and cold. I love the gammon and turkey.

We had a coffee at Caked in Bread on a short visit to Brackley, it happened to be a lovely day and we sat outside in the sunshine. The staff were very helpful, and the latte I had was perfectly acceptable at the price (I think no more than a couple of pounds). They do offer sandwiches and, I believe, pies and suchlike, and would be a good place to stop for a quick snack if passing. Parking nearby is free, for 3 hours; I used to stop off in Brackley on north-south trips (M1 / A43 / A34) rather than at motorway services, this is definitely the sort of place I would consider for such a stop. (Public loos are just over the road).
