Caffi Wyre in Ceredigion

I stopped off at lunchtime in Llanrhystyd to find family graves in the new churchyard and spotted Caffi Wyre. The lady who served me was very friendly and chatty…and we might even be related! 🤗. I enjoyed a well filled gammon salad sandwich with a cup of tea for lunch. And after I’d found the graves I returned to Caffi Wyre for another cup of tea and a slice of delicious carrot cake.

This is a cracking place to stop off en route to St Davids. Everything home cooked...cakes, quiches etc. They also built a pizza oven but locals stopped them using it, also stopped them putting tables overlooking the river... Friendly ladies running it. There is parking and outside seating. Dogs welcome.

What a lovely place on the banks of the river in Llanrhystud. An ideal place for a light lunch when travelling between Aberaeron and Aberystwyth. Great outdoor seating. Good service and Welsh speaking staff. Diolch. Parking can be an issue during peak times.

Worse fry up I’ve ever eaten missing producuts and produce was port quality coffee was good and cakes but avoid if you want breakfast only get 1 star for the coffee n cakes otherwise give it nothing

Very inconsistent first time I visited we waited two hours for our food service was poor food items where missing,. The food was also cold and bland after waiting two hours I ordered avocado and egg on toast and got no toast however on the second visit it was much better food was fast drinks where good and everyone around got there food quick.

Fabulous new cafe in Llanrhystud. Excellent coffee. Friendly staff. Great location next to the river in centre of village.

Fantastic little cafe. We had lunch on a sunny afternoon sat by the river. Just returned from fabulous pizzas cooked on their own pizza oven. Really good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We will be visiting again

Really nice family run cafe. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place to stop on a sunny day, situated next to a beautiful stream. Catered for the whole family and dogs. Can recommend any of the cakes - we sampled most of them during several visits on our holiday - they were all excellent! Dogs also enjoyed a Doggy Ice Cream. Breakfast was great too, a little bit of a wait as it was busy, but staff warned us & it's not a bad place to sit to watch the world go by. Would recommend a stop and will visit again.

We were told by family who live near the new cafe and we spotted it whilst driving through Llanrhystud. It’s worth a stop. The weather was amazing this weekend, proper Welsh welcome by the staff and it’s owners, excellent setting/location and great food. Highly recommend the “Brecwast Cymreig Llawn” (full Welsh breakfast). We are looking forward already to our next visit when the pizza oven will be up and running.
