Nice clean and the staff are always happy to help ice used them a couple of times but because money is tight I can't unfortunately justify popping in as much as I would like

Food was amazing! I loved the atmosphere here as it looks out to the rest of the shopping centre. The staff were very friendly and the prices were great. I had a chicken meal and sweet chilli Panini which was amazing, and my friend said his soup was fantastic. I would definitely recommend as this was such a good experience.

A cracking wee cafe for snacks and meals.

We ordered lattes, a soft drink, and bacon rolls. Which came out soon after. The servers were polite, prompt, and well presented. The area is surprisingly warm even though it's not in a unit. The only downside was that we felt the prices were a bit expensive for a bacon roll and lattes.

It was ok, service seems a little bit chaotic at times. Maybe it was a one off on the day I was there.

Proactively helpful staff and good food, a good stop off if you need something while shopping.

Best chips I've ever had in my life!

Visited today 12/5/23 Toasted ham and cheese panini with salad coleslaw and chips The panini was lovely as was the sides BUT when you add the £1.25 for coleslaw and £2.80 for the chips the total then being £9.30 that's a bit much for a toasted sandwich! Especially when you consider the steak pie and chips is £6.99. The steak pie veg and chips was an abomination, chewy beef, very little gravy, veg served in a weird wee dish therefore cold and the pastry was completely soggy as if it had been microwaved, utterly inedible. To be fair the manageress swiftly provided a full refund when informed. So in summary have a toasty Visited this week and to be fair it was rather late in the afternoon ie 3PM, but in saying that the meals were being cooked to order. We ordered macaroni cheese and chips and were quite happy at the over 15 minutes wait as this meant freshly cooked. When it arrived at the table the macaroni had an obvious skin on it as if it had been sitting awaiting the chips cooking and was certainly not hot. The macaroni cheese would be more accurately described as creamed macaroni as it had very little taste of cheese at all. The chips were okay but again could certainly be hotter. £6.99 for pretty poor macaroni cheese and chips is pretty reasonable had it been worth eating but unfortunately ours was returned for a refund. £1.70 for an extremely small diet coke is simply robbery. Definitely not somewhere I'd recommend although the coffee and cakes look decent.

I don’t get why most reviews says it’s value for money. I found it over priced the coffee was more expensive than Costa ! and they charged £1.30 for a cup of hot water. The panini I had was soggy. Chips were nice and my friend enjoyed the homemade steak pie. They still have the Perspex glass up for protection to staff over covid but they all walk out to the seating area to deliver the food so seems pretty pointless these days plus they have difficulty hearing what you are trying to order. All in all nowt special and not on my let’s go back list.

When u go for a full breakfast and it comes to Ur table how disappointing me and my wife were for the price it is shocking and not very good so do something about it please thanks MR snaddon

Hi, we visited yesterday with our grandchildren, we ordered three hot chocolate drinks at £2.65 each, then you add additional cost for cream and additional again for marshmallows. Making it an expensive drink. Also, don’t know what coffee beans you use, but they are very bitter. We visit your cafe quite a lot for food etc, but felt disappointed last time regarding the above issue.

Just stopped in for a coffee, cos I'd a while afore the bus. Aye, good coffee and pleasant staff. A nice enough place to be in, I expect I'll be back

Been going here for quite a few years it's always been great especially for gluten free options, always enjoy the soup and a gluten free roll always tasty and coffees are great and it's a quick service, staff are always friendly, never had any issues or problems but the gluten free cake cabinet could do with more choices cause when it's busy at lunch time there isn't much left to chose from, value for money

Good cafe to go to if you're in the shopping centre. Reasonably priced. I would recommend the strawberry cheesecake, best cheesecake I have had for as long as I can remember. I'd go back just for that 😄

Being going here for lunch/takeaway for a number of years. The staff are great, friendly and so helpful. Since COVID the menu has got a lot smaller which is real shame. Could do with adding back more options to the menu's especially the lunch menu to cater for more/ different tastes/ dietary requirements. Reasonable priced and a nice atmosphere.

I often pop in here for lunch or breakfast as the food is excellent and the staff are so very friendly. Prices, like everything, are going up but still great value for money.

Cheers for the roll n sausage with two of the smallest sausages since man invented the chipolata. Could at least have put three in to get it past the halfway point of the roll.

I’m a usual customer, I don’t know why I even come here the food takes forever to come even if it’s not busy and the staff most of the time get my order wrong

Thanks to the lovely staff who kindly reserved 2 tables together for me so that I could meet my 6 friends for afternoon coffees and cakes which were very tasty. Much appreciated.

A genuinely pleasant and safe experience. The staff are diligent in regards to covid and all round comfort and experience while visiting. I tend to be one who finds fault in places I visit but on today's visit I have thoroughly enjoyed myself and been in total ease and confidence of being safe. The food was also on top form. Would recommend to anyone especially those who are eager for a cafe visit but not sure if they will be safe. Caffe Caffe are on the ball.

Been going there for many years. Best coffee and selection of cakes and fresh sandwiches in town. The courteous and most attentive staff also serve basic snacks and meals.

Gone downhill in the 2 years I've been in Yorkshire. Was an excellent cafe with great food and service. Disappointed that no garnishes supplied with sandwiches which were basic. Not offered salad garnish. Slow at tills. You had to ask for sandwich fillings available and this then produced on a laminated card. Not much use, felt obliged and rushed to make choice. Won't be going back very often. The coffee strips the lining of your stomach too, excessively strong and cheap blend

I've never been a huge fan of coffee shops that you find in your typical shopping mall, but this one is a little bit different. Firstly it produces a lot of homemade food rather than the pre-packed stuff you tend to get. Portion size is also good. They seem to srike the right balance between not enough and over loading your plate. There is a selection of tea coffee and soft drinke. So overall if your in Glenrothes and you want a bite, you caould do worse than visit here

Always a nice place to have lunch with my wife and toddler. the name might have changed but the friendly faces and good honest food are still the same. The recent renovations are nice too.

My Friday morning would not be the same without my coffe and cherry scone, this is the perfect place to meet with friends. Helpful cherry staff who acknowledge you as a returning customer. Also lovely and clean. If you want more than just a cuppa the food is highly recommended 🥓🍝

So this cafe appears to have been taken over and on my first visit I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of variety of cake to choose from, coffee very reasonably priced and good hot food options available as well. Lovely staff too. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in the centre.

Pleasant place in the Kingdom Centre to stop off for lunch, a toastie or panini or coffee.

Visited this cafe today for lunch, it was very busy but got served promptly. There was a short wait for the food to arrive. I had the macaroni cheese with chips. Food was tasty and nice and hot. I ate everything on my plate, it was that good. Decided to have lunch there due to the cafe being refurbished. The food has definitely improved, will visit again.

Expensive and not great quality

I visit this cafe every day as I really think they have the edge on anything else in Glenrothes. I usually stay for lunch, but I had an important appointment today and couldn't stay, but I brought out 2 x Medium Potato and vegetable Soup, which I know will be very tasty. The staff are very nice people and friendly. I have told people about the Cafe Al Fresco when on holiday and three couples have visited and noticed me sitting in the Bistro in the corner as usual reading or eating. 5 STARS from me. Had a brown roll with 3 sausages and onion today 21/02/2029 and it was excellent.
