A little gem of a place, lovely decor, and excellent service. The food was very tasty and I definitely plan to return! So good to have a different style of restaurant from the norm.

Absolutely fantastic food at Brina's. Had the tacos (shrimp, jerk chicken) and my mate had the jerk chicken curry. Absolutely FANTASTIC. Proud to have such a great wee restaurant in my hame town.

We were looking for somewhere special for a post Christmas family meal out and we could not have chosen better. We shared platters for starters then had a mix of main courses including goat curry, jerk chicken, fish & oxtail. All were delicious and just the right amount of spice. We will definitely be back and strongly recommend it to others.

Had been meaning to pop in since it opened and only just got around to it. Did not disappoint, very relaxed restaurant vibe with cool decor and a good atmosphere due to the Jamaican music playlist. I’m no expert on Jamaican food but real enjoyed all the dishes we tried which were fresh, well seasoned and ingredients were good quality. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Drinks list is really good too, especially with interesting Caribbean non-alcoholic choices (try the Super Malt). One of the best places to eat in Falkirk, will definitely be visiting again soon. 🇯🇲

Went here for a date night with my wife who loves Jamaican food. The service was excellent, staff friendly and the atmosphere very nice. The food was amazing, we have not been so satisfied with a meal out for a long time! This place deserves much more recognition and will be visiting again for sure.

First visit for the four of us, all the better for my wife and I as our favourite Jamaican/carribean restaurant in Aberdeen closed recently. Super tacos for starters and the jerk chicken, jerk pork, oxtail stew and special fish dish were all great. Super staff too. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and would recommend and look forward to a return visit. 😊

I had been wanting to try this place for ages so went here earlier today for lunch. The food was as expected very tasty but unfortunately the whole experience was let down by the poor service. I had ordered a jerk chicken wrap with plain house fries. What I received was jerk chicken and the spiced Jamaican fries. When I questioned the server about this he stated that this was substituted due to the kitchen running out of wraps. For a start, I find this extremely hard to believe considering we went at opening time on a Friday afternoon when most of the lunch menu consists of wraps. Two, a few minutes after being told the kitchen was out of wraps, another table was served wraps. If an order has to be substituted due to low stock then we should really be told beforehand. Not only this, but the substitution cost more than my original order. It seems to me that there was an honest mistake made by the server and instead of owning up to it and offering an alternative he just lied about it to make his life easier. So all in all, this pretty much ruined the experience. Which is a shame, because the food was actually very nice.

Wow!!! Really nice, relaxed restaurant in Falkirk town centre. Service is relaxed and friendly, nice ambience. And the food… Prawn tacos were excellent as was the manish water goat soup. Jerk chicken was excellent and the curried goat… OMG… best curry I’ve ever eaten? Maybe… certainly in the top 3. The chef told us it was her family recipe and you could taste the history. Exquisite. Both served with delicious rice and peas. Rounded off by Jamaican rice pudding - seriously nice too. And we were served by one of my son’s school friends. Definitely recommend!

Just popped in for a take away wrap for lunch, never noticed it before so thought I would give it a try. The food and coffee were delicious, the jerk chicken wrap was a great change to the usual filled rolls, nice fresh healthy ingredients. I will definitely be back to sit in.

What a great little restaurant. Lovely staff and great food. We had the Red Stripe Chicken Wings which were fabulous and tasty with the best sauce. These were followed by the Ox tail stew with just enough spice and the goat curry. Meat was very tender and well flavoured. The reggae music in the background gives a Caribbean vibe and brought back happy memories of holidays on the islands. This will definitely be a restaurant we’ll visit again. Highly recommended!

Wonderful tasty Jamaican food which brought back memories of a holiday in Jamiaca a few years ago. They have a small menu, but we quite agree with the plan to serve up a small variety of dishes well and freshly cooked. The evening did not go quite as planned, but that was in no way the fault of the restaurant. The family member who's birthday was being celebrated developed Covid so we had to cancel our table and get a take-away. However, we have had meals in the restaurant in the past so we can vouch for the fact that the service and atmosphere are lovely. One of us had the goat soup for starters - actually, we all had a taste and it was particularly delicious. We also enjoyed goat curry, and Jerk chicken both traditional style with rice and peas (actually beans in Jamaican food) and with their spicy chips. They do not have an alcohol license so we had planned to take a bottle of wine, but ended up drinking the wine at home! We also ordered some "green ting" drinks - actually grapefruit, which is also very tasty. We will be back. It is a shame they are not open on more days

Our first visit (note, it's now on Wooer Street, not Callendar Square) and the food was absolutely wonderful. What a great addition to Falkirk. Jerk chicken wings could have been lifted straight off a BBQ in July - beautiful rich and smoky flavour. The ackee and saltfish was just as good, and the sides gave it all extra lift - special mention for the plantain, lightly fried and subtly sweet. But it was all great, and it was lovely to get a chance to speak to all the staff and see the huge pride they take in their food. We'll be back!

Excellent service, clean, spacious dining space, authentic jerk. We came from West Midlands to be with family in Edinburgh for Hogmanay. They booked this place for us to have lunch in Falkirk for a meal like home and we could not be more pleased! Brina welcomed us personally, offered menu suggestions, chatted with us a bit and was delighted to know that we are also from the Caribbean. We had starters of callalloo soup, lamb, chicken and veggie patties. Mains of rice & peas with jerk chicken and jerk pork, potatoes, fried plantains, cole slaw and veggie options of ackee & saltfish, with bammy. Nothing could be faulted, everything tasted divine. Will certainly visit again, highly recommended!

As a born & bred Caribbean person, I've got to say this is the best Jamaican food I've had in the UK so far!! 🤤👌🏾 The patties were very moreish - with a nice flaky pastry and delicious well-seasoned meat filling. The jerk chicken and pork were authentic and extremely tasty, paired nicely with a very generous portion of rice & peas. Thank you Brina and your lovely team for looking after us and making us feel at home in Falkirk! 😊

Recently discovered this place with friends on a visit to Scotland. Add this as a must do. Giovanna and team were tremendously warm and great hosts. The deer and haggis Wellington is excellent, as was the Cullen Skink. Make sure to finish off with the sticky toffee pudding. Will make sure to visit anytime we are near.
