Absolutely amazing fish and chips... had to wait in a queue for half n hour but it was so worth it .... massive portion and great price 👏

Amazing fish, very long line and alot of waiting, however it was worth the wait. Curry sauce was amazing and extremely flavourful, chips were a bit over salted, fish was absolutely delicious, very very worth the price and wait.

Ok chips. Started nice. Chunky cooked chips. Then after eating top few under were some overly cooked chips then lots little scrappy bits. £3 takeaway portion

Chose to eat here as opposed to the larger more obvious chains in the resort . We were not disappointed, freshly cooked fish and chips, Staff were friendly and provided great service . Food was hot and delicious, along with being excellent value for money . Weather was conducive, so we were seated outside. Worth a visit if passing

Will happily drive from the other end of the country for fish and chips here. We go every time we go cleethorpes Made fresh chips were absolutely spot on and the fish was incredible. Cut the sausage up for the dog which my wife was grateful for. (Take cash tho) Papa’s can sod right off.

Went here based on reviews and these were the worst chips I've had for a long time. If those were large then I dread to think what a normal portion was like, more than half the container were those small ends you get that were rock hard and the other full chips weren't much better, seemed like they had been kept warm and had dried out. I'd have taken a picture but it was extremely windy. Very disappointing as had been looking forward to some chips at the seaside and this looked promising and a proper chippy.

This was the best fish and chips we have had. The portion size was great, it all came out hot and fresh. Customer service was outstanding. Definitely recommend.

Brilliant little chippy! Food was cooked to order. Batter on fish beautifully crisp. Crisp chips, not greasy at all. Mushy peas were lovely too!! Great chippy

Very disappointed called the other day had fish and chips to find the fish was under cooked and so was the batter ,and the chips wasn't much better

Staff forgot about my order. After going back up to the counter I received cold, overcooked, potato less chips.

Prior to checking in at Haven we called here for fish and chips. Can honestly say I've never had better. Was cooked to order, fish was huge with big white flakes, batter was so crispy. Will definitely be returning.

waited a long time to be served and when finally at the counter had to send one lot of fish and chips back as chips were hard and cold like they were from the day before. Got a plain sausage for kids and to be honest i wouldn't have fed it to the dog ! can't tell why they have 4 stars unless we called on their worst day ever !

Credit due to the girl taking orders an cooking and doing everything, I waited 45 minutes to be served the two men/boys working with her constantly on there phones in and outside never washed there hands and then handling food hygiene and customer service disgusting. When I received my fish I then had to take it back as it was black and smelt. Will never be returning there was a few unhappy people today I'd recommend going anywhere else!!

It's fish is overcooked and dry (the batter is burnt). We also had to feed the birds with the chips as they were to hard to eat. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Good portions, staff polite, tables chairs provided outside. Kept clean tidy.

Arrived with 14 others, the menu is a little limited but that only leads to the quality being very high. Only haddock is available on the fish side.the chips very tasty and service was extremely fast and unfazed 7 tables are available for you to sit and eat your purchase. A tasty meal for all to share,we even met Brenda who is still frying after 49 years.

Great Fish, tasty chips, sea views, rode all the way from Retford on the bikes, good fuel for the journey home

We took 3 disabled people and 3 staff to the coast for the day called at brendas chippie for their lunch spent over £30 on food and drinks only to be rushed off the premises while 2 of our disabled people were clearly still finishing their drinks the staffs attitude was disgusting and he even removed our table while we were sat round it (we had asked previously if we could put 2 tables together as we had 2 people in wheelchairs and was told that was fine) the male staff took a table and gave it someone else while we we’re still seated despite us saying can the ladies finish their drinks! Absolutely disgusting!!!

Brenda's Chippie is a traditional fish and chips Shop on the the Central Promenade in Cleethorpes. It's a nice small and clean takeaway that has tables and chairs outside in the warmer months. It has a traditional chip shop menu to match which include children's meals. The choice of fish is limited to Haddock along with all the chip Shop favourites. The staff very friendly and I got the impression that they would take food out to the tables outside if required. The wheelchair access is good and the tables outside lend themselves for easy chair access. It has no restrooms of it's own but there are public facilities nearby on Sea road. There's plenty of parking available along the seafront.The views of are good here as it overlooks the nearby beach and Humber estuary. It's cash only here. They have a 5***** food hygiene rating. Food review April 2019. I ordered Haddock and chips to takeaway, I had a short wait while my fish was freshly fried,I received a reasonable sized piece of Haddock and a good sized portion of nice crispy chips,the quality of the Haddock was pretty good with nice thin crispy batter, a good white colour and a fair amount of flavour. Very reasonably and competitively priced at £5.10,good value for the price.
