Beware of the scam happening here. There is a small sign at the entrance stating that you are only allowed to "park" for a maximum of 15 minutes. It doesn't matter whether you use the amenities or not; if you overstay, they will charge you between £60 and £100. If you're driving a rental, the rental company will additionally charge you a processing fee. You can appeal the charge (exclusively via their website), but they will only respond after the deadline for the discounted fee has expired. I feel completely scammed and would advise any fellow travelers to find another petrol station. If the owners are reading this, please address this issue immediately. UPDATE: The Euro Car Park "support" team will contact you after half a month or longer (up to 28 days). Thus, you will have to pay the charge, or you'll get charged even more. They will not offer any support and only refer to the sign at the entrance.

Scam car park - same as the others have stated. Stopped here for 30mins to eat at the subway on premises and refuel the car. Got charged a £100 parking fine. Did not see any signs and as it was a rental car we have to pay the rental company an extra £40 fee. BP please make your call line available through WhatsApp so we can get in contact about this. Absolutely ridiculous to charge for parking at a fuel station with a café that has tables and chairs attached.

SCAM - automatic fine if you stay more than 15 minutes! Fueled up here, paid, parked, used the bathroom and had subway within the store and received a 60 pound fine for my trouble! They use automatic cameras. Actually awful.

Do not use this BP petrol station as you receive a fine if you are there any longer than 15 minutes! Absolutely ridiculous considering they provide cafe services, toilets, air & vacuuming so if you’re using these services you’ll likely be more than 15 min & receive a £100 fine.

Stopped to buy a coffee and snack, as well as to use the bathroom. Clearly, the bathroom hadn't been checked for cleanliness in some time. The foul stench of urine emanating from it was something I would not expect from a brand as large and reputable as BP. Thankfully, the employee who served me my coffee allowed me to use the staff toilet when I pointed out the issue. This clearly had more care taken to its cleanliness than the customer one.

1 due to there being no -minus 100 option. Paid by card at their screenwash machine, didn't work spoke to 2 employees, totally rude and unhelpful. Said I have to contact the company who own the useless equipment. Incoherent man gave me a card. See below....who interviews these people. Arrived at the station and filled up with fuel at a reasonable price. The issue started when my new bank card was rejected and I had to call my bank. After this issue was resolved I waited in a small queue before purchasing a Subway meal. Left a happy man until I received a penalty notice of a £100 pound fine for being present in the station forecourt for 25 minutes. The operators of this site should have large notices inside the premises to remind customers that there is a strickly controlled time limit. I'm presuming there are notices outside but I never expected to be there for 25 minutes so never looked. I'm disgusted by this penalty notice and will challenge it ! I contacted the number listed and because this station is a franchise they cannot help ( so in effect a useless reply). They did pass me another number which was the site, they explained because I admitted seeing the sign I wouldn't be able to challenge the £10 per minute charge that has been sent. This is not the issue.... I may have been aware of a 15 minute window but I omitted to set an alarm on my phone to remind me how long I'd be legitimately on the site. No doubt this will involve much more time and effort on both our behalfs before this matter is resolved.

if i could give this place zeros stars i would. What an absolute joke this BP petrol station parking arrangements are. Copped a £100 fine for being here 27mins. Signage is woefully inadequate to accurately see, then interpret parking times. We spent time taking 2 x sick kids to the bathroom and to buy a few snacks. 15 mins max time........what a complete joke. Suggest avoiding this 'lets rip of the British public' petrol station. What a scam!

I stopped here to get gas and use the vacuum service to clean my rental. After returning to the states I was notified by avis that I had a parking fine. Turns out it was illegal to use these features and now Euro Car Park wants 100GBP. This is outrageous. At the time of writing this I'm trying to appeal the charge through POPLA. I contacted BP directly and they forwarded my email to the site manager. They did nothing to help which I'm not surprised with how they were talking to my wife when she was trying to pay for gas and buy water from their store. I would avoid stopping here if possible. I know it's the closest gas station to the airport but they are clearly happy running this scam.

Sat in garage after travelling a fair distance only to get a fine for over staying ma time in the garage £100 fine where does it state that u can't park there for so long raging

Disgraceful service tonight by one of your employees. I was about to buy goods for £100 and was waiting in the queue. Your employee served person before me, then when was my turn, he started counting change in the till. I waited patiently, but he could not be bothered with me, and continued as if I was not there. He continued counting coins (50p,20p..), when I asked him "are you still open", he says "yes, what do you want?" I said, nothing any more, thank you, and turned around and put my goods away, but he still could not be bothered....this is just a warning, about poor customer service that cost you income this time....will never ever go back there.

Tried to use the premium E5 petrol. Meter didn't set to zero, started at 21p, white vapour came out of the nozzle and when handle was released the flow carried on a bit afterwards. Frankly we didn't trust what was supposed to be a premium product.

I took my friend to the airport and then went to the station like usual(always fresh fuel). my payment card was broken and I couldn't pay for the fuel. so I had to turn my friend back from the airport to pay for me. Hello . A mandate is not everything. I didn't receive any information about the ticket because I didn't even feel guilty because I had shopped twice the day I parked my car. Today, 4 months after using this station, I received a letter from the bailiff for PLN 170, also after the deadline because it should have been delivered by January 4, and today it is January 8. 😒 I have been a customer of these stations for 9 years, I filled up all my cars with fuel. I am outraged by this approach to the customer. I will never fill up on bp again. If I don't go shopping. Additionally, the company he works for has a fleet of cars, so it will not use the services of the bp station. . . I will pay 170f. And the station will lose thousands of pounds per year.

Very nearly suffered the same fine. 11 minutes charging I read other reviewers' experience that failure to check in your car reg on the touchscreen next to the checkout inside Londis within 15 minutes will result in a hefty fine, regardless of charging EV! It's a predatory, money grabbing exercise by the operators of this franchise.

I got a ticket for filling up the car and washing it, and then having to wait a while for the car to dry, it took me 35 minutes and I have to pay £100.

Parking fine issued by Euro Car Parks, after we charged our EV at this station. We defy anyone arriving in the dark and the rain at a station they've never used before, to notice the signs about parking fines or needing to give your registration no to the cashier if you're charging. Don't bother contacting BP customer services or the company that owns the charger, they aren't interested. An appeal to Euro Car Parks showing them evidence of our payment for the charger resulted in our fine being cancelled...on this one occasion.

What a joke of a "services". I have been fined £100 for overstaying the woefully inadequate 15 minute stay. Parking restriction signage is poor and 15 minutes to fill up with fuel and sit down to eat is woefully inadequate!! Total rip off and clearly designed to fleece people out of money. Avoid!!!

I’ve been sent a very threatening fine letter of up to £100 for parking at this petrol station whilst I bought snacks from there for my hungry 6 year old and eating them in the car before setting off again. Absolutely despicable SCAM. Avoid!

Charged car at charging station (30mins) then received fine for over stay from Europarks. Appealed fine but not up held. Given the cost 79p per KW and the time you are allowed to charge would not recommend.

I was charged £20 for out of hours drop off of a rental car. The cashier refused to issue the receipt after the payment and they refer you to speak the rental company. The rental company says the charge has nothing to do with them as it's bp service. BIG SCAM!!!

I used the station to charge my electric hire car before returning it and just been notified that I am being fined for overstaying in the car park. My car was attached to the charging machine and we were sat in it whilst it was charging! There were no visible signs that said you had a limited amount of time to charge your vehicle or I would have gone else where as only charged it to 85%, not even the 100% marker! What an absolute joke, they want us to be environmentally friendly but charge you for charging the car! Not only do I now have the parking fine but also administration cost from the hire company! I would not recommend using this BP Garage to charge your car!!!!

I am joining the club of idiots who used this gas station. I was fined 100 pounds as well for 28 minutes. I got gas, used the washing station and then vacuum. Sorry that I used you services I guess I have to pay for it extra. To be quite honest I don't even know if there is a sign or why they can fine people. I recieved a £100 parking fine althouh I was a paying customer (refual and washing the car).

Visited 2 10/07/23 at around 9.30 am, reported it to a staff member. Please clean the toilet please, they are horrendous, no soap and you are serving food, you can smell these toilets before you enter, the toilet is filthy, and not cleaned regularly.The seat and toilet are absolute dirty. The whole toilet area needs a deep clean. Have to give a star as wouldn’t let me post, deserves no stars

Just ask yourself if you would want to fill up at a station where there is a perverse person on a mission to get cars fined for going into the station to use their service. I didn’t get a fine, I just avoid it like a plague and head to the others less than 10 mins away.

My son and I visited in mid July en route to car hire return depot opposite the site. Filled up with petrol , bought some refreshments and parked car in cleaning zone to tidy out the car before returning it 3 minutes later. Just been notified of the £100 parking fine yet I cannot recall seeing any signs about the parking restrictions. We were on site for 30 minutes. The fine us unreasonable and not enforceable in my view for reason above plus the fact that me being on the forecourt did not cause any loss to Bp. I do hope Bp can help me challenge the fine as the euro car parks operator is notoriously aggressive and I do not wish to be threatened with the bailiff. Update - the site operator has cancelled my ticket so all us well. Good customer service in the end!

Stopped here on way home from work last week ,I was tired and the motorway was really busy and weather was terrible so I stopped for a coffee break , I was parked in a parking bay and not blocking any fuel pumps , had my coffee and a biscuit then left, I’ve just received £100 fine for being there 26 mins , I didn’t notice any signs as it was rubbish weather and I ran into the garage trying to stay dry .I think this is unfair charging people for using there services. Stopped in to get a som card so I could navigate to Glasgow from the airport. Purchased my Sim Card could not get it in to my phone so I went back in to the store had to buy Safety pins. Got the card installed. Then I had no internet to purchase a package from the Sim card provider. I went back into the store they had free WiFi. It took some time to get on to the WiFi but once there was able to complete my task and was able to have cell and internet connection so I could get to my friend's house in Glasgow. I also purchased a couple of more items. I left and was able to now get to my destination. I just now received a £100.00 Fine because I parked too long at the gas station. This is praying on traveller's who do not know the area and rely on Google maps to get them places. Do Not Stop at the BP gas station just outside of the Glasgow Airport! Even though they have a subway and such you will get fined if you do not leave in exactly 15mins. Very Unfair!

I have hired many cars over the years and refuelled here. I have found, mostly, the staff to be friendly and obliging. Some months ago, on one of my recent visits my wife already had a car and refuelled here. Due to my flight being delayed she needed to wait on me. Yes, as many have described, a £60 fine in the post with all the other stipulations. A review used the word vultures. Tending to agree with them. The signage for such penalties should be clear and in your face. I have nothing against the staff in the shop.

Two days in a row, subway worker Ramya has caused a wait of over 10 minutes while the worker essentially avoids customer contact. If told it would be a couple minutes that would be fine. But having be avoided for 10 minutes, it’s a bit pathetic.

Extortionate prices! Got my car tank half filled and diesel is being sold at £1.85 whereas everywhere it's £1.70. Rogue and cheap tactics by owners. Avoid at every cost because they think just because they're next to the airport they think they've got monopoly!

15 minute limit on staying there - no clear signs or warnings from staff who is clearly aware you are here for more 15 minutes as you are purchasing car wash, vacuum and air vouchers. Vacuum wasnt working either. Got a 60 pound parking ticket, phoned the garage to inquire - girl who picked up was really rude and she said that's their rules and I was meant to inform the cashier myself that I will be staying longer than 15 minutes. I was pretty much the only person at a time so they could really have warned me. Avoid.

Yes, there is a limit of 15 mins waiting time. This is clearly shown on signs. Was served by Sean who was really helpful with directions and informative. Just the sort of staff you need at an airport petrol station! Good choice of shop items. Fair petrol prices.

Good place to refuel before returning a rental car, even if prices are slightly higher. Yes, there are fines if you spend more than 15 minutes there, but there are plenty signs saying this so this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone!

Be warned - there is a 15 minute parking limit with automated entry / exit CCTV with very unclear signage. Stopped for a coffee, like many others, and received a £100 fine for the trouble. Horrid thing to inflict on customers.

Now I just received a parking charge notice over 100 Pound + 40 Pound that Europcar charges me, for delivering that message. Don't use this station visited the station and I have a disability and spent a fortune at subway. I was 3 minutes over the 15 minute stay apparently, due to my disability and now they have fined me £100. They are discriminating against me and they are a disgrace.

I have been trying to get a answer to why i have received a parking ticket for one of my employee who was fueling up the company car and also pick up food. He was in and out in 31mins and has received a parking ticket for £100. I have spoken to Euro parks to find out who get the commission for the ticket.Wait for it ...It a contract between the owner of the garage and euro parks. Returning a rental car to the airport drop off, I filled up with fuel, got a sandwich and a drink. park in a designated spot with no signage re parking fees. I subsequently get a parking fine in the post. This is outrageous. What if I'd had a technical problem with the car - would that result in a fine? I will go toe to toe with the CEO of BP. AND take this all the way to the Old Bailey if necessary. WHAT A SCAM!

Echoing some of the reviews already posted. No signage to indicate clearly that there is a time limit for parking, if there even is one. I suggest BP do something to rectify this before they lose even more customers, who like me have also been sent dodgy letters asking for extortionate payments for staying any longer than needed to sprint in and out the garage.

Went in to the station fulled up £40. In fuel then used the carwash and got juice/food £6 stopped at the " provided parking" to eat and got a £100 fine. Thats an easy way to triple your profits and lose customers

Stopping there before returning a rental car ? Beware of parking charge notice shakedown (£100) for "staying too long". Used the station's facilities mid-August just before returning a rental car at Glasgow Airport, as recommended by the rental company. That is : fueling up the car, using the car wash (there was a bit of a wait) and the very tired vacuum cleaner. Just received today by mail a parking charge notice of £100 being due to "Euro Car Parks" for staying 31 mn and 21 seconds on site or as stated in the notice, having "parked longer than the maximum allowed". Of course, the rental company (Europcar) added a nice "administration fee" of £40 on top of that. That is ludicrous. On top of that, the notice having been supposedly issued on 23/08/2019, I had until 06/09/2019 to pay a discounted amount and until 20/09/2019 to pay it in full. The rental company added its administration fee and its cover letter on 04/09/2019 and I've just received today 03/10/2019 all the documents. A full month for 3 pieces of paper to cross the Channel ? This really looks like a well-rounded little scheme...

My husband & I stopped at this petrol station on our way to return our rental car to Glasgow Airport. Imagine our surprise two weeks later when the rental company sent us a £60 fine from Euro Car Parks for spending 34 minutes in the parking lot! Considering we fueled up the car, ran it through the car wash (after having to wait for the car in front of us to run inside & pay before washing his car) and then spent 12 minutes vacuuming out our car (the vacuum suction was almost non-existent, but we still tried), I don't think 34 minutes is an unreasonable amount of time. We certainly weren't just sitting in the parking lot doing nothing. Now, we are forced to pay a £60 fine (it goes up to £100 if we don't pay by 25/09/2019) and a £42 charge from the rental company for "administrative charges". At the bare minimum, we will be paying 126 USD for filling up & cleaning out our rental before returning it. After this, I would NOT recommend this petrol station!

What a shame that they give such a bad image of such a beautiful country. I was on vacation and rented a car at the airport. On my last day I went to this gas station to refuel and clean the vehicle to deliver it correctly. What was my surprise that after being at my home I received a notice that the gas station parking lot was fining me 100 pounds for exceeding the time limit by less than half an hour. Of course I exceeded it, there were other cars cleaning, I had to wait. Please do not put gasoline in it if you go there and even less clean it because you have to go inside to collect tokens, which takes time. In addition to the 100 pounds, the car rental agency also charges me 40 pounds for managing this notification.

Used to use this place all the time, last time I was in twice, waiting on a pick up at Glasgow Airport, now getting threatening letters from some laughable debt collecting agency, is that how you treat paying customers? Hi I have been using this petrol garage for years to fill up my car as it is near my house with no issues but recently decided to use the subway restaurant after filling up my car. 2 weeks later I get a fine for £100 through the door for using your parking facilities i will not be using this garage or any other bp as there a plenty of other options near by

I can only warn everyone booking a rental car not to use this gas station and “service station”! We are currently being fined £100 because we spent 27 minutes on the premises filling up, eating on the SUBWAY and cleaning the rental vehicle. OH WHAT?! How are you supposed to do it differently, especially when other PEOPLE are ahead of you and are using the same offers!? Europcar's £40 "administration fee" is on top of that. I have already contacted BP Germany. Even you regret this situation and apologized. However, the company can only refer me to careline, as unfortunately they cannot do anything from Germany. Do yourself a favor and stop at another gas station before dropping off at Glasgow Airport. I will definitely advise my friends and acquaintances who are planning to visit Scotland to avoid BP!

I was not thrilled to get a notice from the rental car company for a parking violation at this location. Your attendant was very helpful with the situation we were in because my wife had gotten ill in the car shortly before arriving. His help and understanding was a big bonus at the time and my wife was considering writing a positive review. That went out the window when we received this slap in the face notice of a parking violation for utilizing and paying your services. You have a Subway sandwich shop in your station with a sit down area. How in the world can you have that short of a time period for being on your facility with a restaurant in your building? We are now faced with a £100 fine because the rental car company didn't notify us until 3 days ago when it could have been a £60 fine if they notified us before 5/22/19 even though there should not be a fine to begin with. On top of that, the rental car company is billing me another £42 as an administrative fee for forwarding me the notice. Combined together that's $183 here in the USA. That is an outrageous cost for doing business. I guarantee that if and when we travel to Scotland through the Glasgow Airport again, we will not be stopping at this establishment and we will advise our friend not to either, not matter the convenience. It's not worth it.

We filled up with fuel here on the evening of the 30th April 2019. Bought food and beverages. Parked to eat and drink. Went to leave but the car would not start. Tried to push start it but no joy. Eventually a very nice young lad came to our aid with jump leads and got us going. We were on the forecourt for 29 minutes and 50 seconds. Two weeks later I, as the registered keeper go a Parking Charge Notice for £100! I am really worried that the young lad will also have been given a charge. Did not see any signs warning of restrictions or charges. I have just had the most appalling conversation with a very rude man called 'Daniel' - he is most definitely in the wrong job - from the BP Careline. They could not care less! What a way to run a business. I am cutting up my BP loyalty card forthwith. I need the CCTV from that night so that I can appeal this ridiculous charge - what a waste of time.

Utterly disappointed! 10.30pm my Car over heating I go to BP station Glasgow airport looking for a safe place for car to cool off . I spend 27 minutes there and 2 weeks later I get a £100 parking fine .The parking restrictions signs not obvious because car park has very poor lighting and signs not visible. Sickened by this service station. Arrived on flight from Belfast, to visit a terminally ill relative. Arrived to be greeted by my elderly mother who became inconsolable driving away from the airport. The first place we could stop? - a BP garage with a subway from which we purchased items. Perfect. No not perfect as my mother now has a parking fine to pay. Absolutely foul. And no I will not contact your customer care line BP you repulsive vultures. The memory of my one day return flight to visit my dying cousin who has since passed away will forever be associated with this debacle with BP. Why allow people to franchise from your premises and not provide parking. Also, obviously your signage is below requirements hence the complaints from customers on here.
