Recent discovery and been twice already in short succession. The food is amazing. Particularly like the pork belly bao bun and kimchi noodle salad. Yet to try the wines but that may be one for the next visit. It can get busy but haven’t had to wait too long for a table, and the food comes out really quickly.

Love the new venue, it’s definitely got a speak easy vibe as you enter through a dingy old mans pub. The natural wine menu is class and the orange wine we tried was 10/10 -the bartender took time to explain the wine to us which was nice. The food was outstanding as usual (same menu as Nanika). The bao buns are always and favourite alongside the salt&chilli aubergines. Will be back for more buns and wine

Absolutely fantastic food here. Its busy from 5pm onwards on a saturday but they have a queue system. The bao buns are the best in the Southside. Very reasonably priced. It is dog friendly. Do not take children though, even at 5pm, as the music is loud and the venue is dark.

I lived in Shawlands for 8 months and only entered this welcoming little cafe on my last weekend there. I wish I'd gone sooner! The atmosphere as you walk in is instantly inviting, the staff are really attentive and friendly, and the interior is mesmerizing. We had a coffee and a breakfast bun, all of which were delicious. The value for money here is great, unlike some of the other cafes in the area. We also bought some plants from here that have really brightened up our home. I can't recommend this little place enough. Will definitely go back next time I'm visiting the area!

Visited today for a takeaway coffee and left very disappointed to be honest. £3.40 for a tiny coffee which wasn’t even what I ordered due to lack of attention being paid. The lady seemed very rushed and I could see the wrong type of milk being used, as well as the syrup I had asked for being carelessly fired at the coffee from a distance and totally missing the coffee itself (couldn’t taste it at all). Card machine was plonked in front of me for payment and the lady serving rushed off leaving me just standing there. I tapped my card and didn’t even get an acknowledgment or goodbye 🤷🏻♀️ Lots of better options in the area with great customer service and far lower prices. Poor service and sadly won’t be back!

South side of Glasgow is starting to get a great vibe for fantastic independent coffee shops, but problem is almost all of them are on Victoria Road or Polloskshaw Road. I was walking from Glasgow Green to Queens Park, and was wanting to grab a morning cup of coffee, but all the usual places head to all mean taking a large detour, but when looking around I noticed a coffee shop appear on Cathcart Road. Great little coffee shop that is really inviting. Staff are excellent and will make your order fresh on the spot for you. Most certainly now firmly one of my top go to coffee spot in Glasgow now.
