Bengal Spice & Chinese Garden in Dungannon

I was order kebab with chips for take away, when i back home and open my box was bad smell, meat was really old, so i just put kebam in to the bin

Chicken tikka kebab and chicken pakora kebab - both beautiful. Naan bread was well done and not too doughy, salad was fresh, chicken was perfect and the sauce had a nice spicy kick to it. I would definitely return for a takeaway to bengal spice, the service was very friendly and it was quick.

So disappointed in this place, they must have changed staff because the food is nowhere as good as it was last year. Decor is dire. Got a takeaway also and the order was mixed up, although 2 return visits sorted it! Not good enough.

Walked in to a waiter that looked confused as to why we were there. Table for two please - seated by the door in an empty restaurant. The owner came to take our drinks only order. I explained we were against the clock and would like to order all at once. He firmly said the process would be done in stages. I politely explained we had tickets to the cinema and we knew what we wanted to order. He then walked to another table to take their order/ we got up, walked out and will never be back. I will actively discourage people from visiting this greasy, badly decorated, cheap date establishment that does not deserve the support of the community!

Will never order from here again. Order was wrong, called and politely told them, they said they would send it out in 15 mins. At this point, no problem, mistakes happen. After 25 mins, I called back as it hadn’t arrived yet to be told very abruptly that I didn’t order what I thought I had and that was that. Messed around and spoken to rudely, disgusted at the whole service.

Visited tonight, waited an hour on our food but that wasn’t the problem. Manager has no social skills and is definitely in the wrong profession. Extremely rude to another customer when he got her order wrong and told her it was her fault that she didn’t speak loud enough. Glasses and cutlery were dirty and there was a dead fly in the vinegar. When we asked for another vinegar the waitress told us there was flies in all the vinegars and she would have to wash one out for us!! Disgusting. When leaving we spoke to the manager and told him we wouldn’t be back as his manners are not acceptable, he said don’t come back then. The worst dining experience I have ever had!!

Try the Chicken Tikka, Garlic, Chilli Balti. Awesome. Not too hot but just right and full of flavour.

The Bengal offers Chinese, Indian and European take away food. This seemed to be a perfect remedy to a large gathering of people who all had different tastes. We ordered by phone and picked up. Parking outside Thomas street is a bit of a pain when the Bengal is busy so we parked in the butter-market carpark around the corner which made for a short walk to pick up. The food was ready on time and it was a quick return home to feed the hoard. The naan bread was a little doughy but was warm and tasty in the twoo varieties we had. The chips were sadly a disappointment as they were obviously mass produced frozen or bought in pre-prepared rather than freshly cut and fried. They were soggy and tasted like standard at home frozen chips. The same with the burger, a standard mass produced job that tasted bland. The chinese and Indian foods were the saviours. The stir fry fillet steak in perpper sace was gorgeous. The chicken biryani and the Lamb Rogan Josh were excellent. The duck was succulent and the sauce was on point. The pilaur rice was done perfectly too and the sweetchilli chicken was divine. The samosa's and Baji sides were yummy too. Price wise this was fairly average but they run pensioner and NHS discounts as well as giving you tokens with every order. 5 orders gets you 50% off the 6th order. A bargain if you are a regular diner.

We had dinner here recently and the food was great, the waiter was friendly and it wasn't particularly expensive either. The only small complaint is that the waiter was on his own running the restaurant and the takeaway next door. I think they need more staff to run a smoother operation. Still a a pleasant experience.

I have been coming here for quite a few years do not get me wrong the food is generally very good. On Sunday night passed I went in and got a take away chicken madras with chips, rice and nan bread. The chips were rock hard as they appeared to be microwaved the madras had a red oil across the top of it exactly how it goes when it also has been microwaved along with the chicken being tough.. the food was uneatable!!

We visited this restaurant as a group of 12 on a quit Saturday night at approximately 7:00pm with a table previously booked. The food did not arrive until 8:30pm and it was most certainly not worth the wait the staff were not attentive at all and were extremely careless. Orders we’re mixed up and others were forgotten no organization in this establishment even though they took well over an hour to arrive with out food not to mention the visual aspects of the restaurant are horrendous. I would never recommended this restaurant to anyone.

Been coming here for more years than I'd probably want to admit. Never had any complaint about the food and always find the staff friendly, worth a visit.

The typical and most popular Indian and Chinese dishes on the same menu with a few specials. We opted for curries on a busy Tuesday night full of groups taking advantage of the four course meal offer at £10.99. Good portions, good service and passable curries.

I was taken to this restaurant while visiting family in NI. Finding a good curry house isn't easy over here. The staff were friendly and the food was a thumbs up from us all. You can get a 4 course meal on Tuesday night for £10.99!

Have visited the takeaway and restaurant many times. The food is absolutely delicious! I was undecided about 5 or 4 stars but I do feel there are improvements to be made. Unfortunately during busy times things tend to deteriorate and orders get mixed up. Some staff struggle under pressure and unfortunately this gives a negative impression. I keep going back though and I would recommend.

Always have a good meal in Bengal Spice. On a Tuesday night you can bring your own alcohol into the restaurant & they offer a £10 four course meal deal. Such good value for very tasty food. Staff always pleasant & so helpful.

Have eaten here lots of times over the years Service is generally prompt and the food good value. Chapati and tarka dal always good if something simple needed. Possibly the only place you can have banana fritter after biryani!

Had a lovely korma last week couldn't reccomend enough, looking forward to returning to this Indian.

Eat here regularly, both take away and sit in. Best local indian food. Although the restaurant,isn't the fanciest, they have a great offer on a Tuesday night, 4 courses for 10.95. And you can bring your own drink. Love the fact that you can mix and match between the indian and the chinese menus! Would definitely recommend as I have never ha a bad meal from here

I've stopped going here due to them not taking orders correctly. Numerous occasions I was given wrong food and even put them over order before I drove the 8 miles in to collect it. Food was ok when I eventually got it but very off putting when other meals go cold.

Bengal spice deserves 5 stars as it serves the best Indian food you'll find on the island of Ireland.
