Becattelli Artisan Gelato in Scottish Borders

Went here twice when staying near Kelso this week (only wish I'd known about it the day before also to go again). The ice cream is great value and absolutely delicious. Can't recommend highly enough if you are anywhere near Kelso you should visit (loads of free parking nearby).

Becattelli's sells artisanal gelato to die for. Wonderful ice cream made with local ingredients, full of flavour and none of the nasty ultra processed fillers. Friendly and accomodating staff and delicious flavours to try. We love the 3 Hills Espresso Coffee flavour and Pistachio in particular, but you really cn't go wrong. I highly recommend this to anyone in Kelso or visiting.

Visited last weekend - such a great selection of flavours of ice cream. Olive Oil, Lemon and Bergamot very unusual but so tasty. Well worth a visit.

Excellent ice cream from a small shop just off the main square in Kelso. There is a good selection of flavours and is well worth a visit.

Good quality ice cream. Pleasant staff. Some benches outside if you need to sit down and enjoy. We had a couple of small cones at a reasonable price, but the sky is the limit if you would like a fancier offering. Would go again.

During a mini-heatwave in March (March!) this little ice cream shop was doing a roaring trade, and it is easy to see why. Top quality ice creams, gelati, sorbets etc with not too many, but just enough lovely flavours. We really enjoyed the ice cream from here.

Been here a few times now, it hasn't disappointed us yet. The ice cream is good and I recommend the waffle cone with chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The prices were reasonable and the owner is friendly.

We live locally, and are regular customers. The ice cream is awsome - best in the Borders. And the service is first-class. They've even opened specifically for us to collect orders (a tub of Pistachio for my daughter's birthday - her favourite ice cream and flavour). If you're in Kelso, then check it out. And if the actual shop is closed, ask in the Cobbles restaurant (if it's open), or message them on Facebook. If they can accommodate you, they will.

Fantastic Gelato. Friendly service, amazing tasty product. Either for immediate consumption or a tub for home. Worth a visit
