Great pub. Live music, sports etc. Atmosphere is great. It's like having a big living room.

No Food but good array of Clientèle.

Always a great lively atmosphere regularly has karaoke nights and live music never any trouble or dominated by rowdy idiots it's been through several management changes in the 40 years I have known it the current management and staff are welcoming friendly and efficient a great little local perfectly situated next door to an amazing chip shop marinis! And situated on the Hill directly above Tesco Express

New to the area (ish) and made to feel very welcome by locals....plus the Heineken is spot on, keeps its head to the bottom of the glass, The seats needed doing, but they've now been fully recovered and look great. These types of pubs need our support....use it or lose it.

Stopped showing viaplay without actually informing staff or customers who actually went there for that specific reason nobody knew until the event was about to start very poor show

Bit rough around the edges but it's a nice wee local boozer, band tonight was decent too. Two Old Mout ciders, £9.

Watched the old firm game when dunfermline v Falkirk was cancelled due to frozen pitch. Good atmosphere.

If you can overlook that the decor looks a bit tired, this is a great little backstreet pub. Good selection of beer on draft at reasonable prices. Friendly efficient service also added to the experience.

Came across this locals bar while during a theatre tour in Dunfermline. Bar staff so fun and friendly, they were welcoming and let us okay darts for a few hours. Great prices on drinks

Staff were very relaxed, confident, friendly and welcoming whilst in total control of all Covid procedures. Prices reasonable. Atmosphere was great, like a proper pub should be.

The Barley Sheaf was well organised. On entry my name and phone number was taken for track and trace. Hand wash was available just inside door. Seats were well spaced out and services was at table only. The one member of staff was great at attending to everyone. She was wearing a face mask. The interior probably is in need of an upgrade. Whilst comfortable it feels slightly run down.

Best pub in the area by a country mile. Well run, brilliant staff, good pub grub, families welcome, great for the football. Been my local for over 30 years. Love the place 💚

They have a fair selection of drinks, costs are average for this area. There is a pool table, dart board, ansd a few large screen tvs. It is also wheelchair friendly. Friendly enough staff, but a very 'locals' bar.

A festive feast yet to be beat on quality, price and atmosphere. A welcoming pub with pool tables and dartboards. Pool is 50p a game. Lovely place to visit to wet yer whistle.

Busy Saturday night only had one Foster's and one John Smith tap on, rude staff- asked about the WiFi but the staff said there wasn't any and laughed. The food was awful, not fresh and straight out of the microwave. Worst bar experience ever 9/4/16 between 8:30pm and 10pm
