Big portions in a great set up. People who work here are fab very chatty and nice, nothing is too much trouble. Burritos are filling, mega portions, hunger lost for at least 6 hours. Go!

Third time back and this place just gets better and BETTER!! A MUST visit for anyone visiting Windermere! Always try something different on the menu and this time it was the Pulled Pork and Mac & Cheese Burrito - yes, you heard it, pulled pork AND M&C! Whoever created this deserves a place on the New Years Honours list! Pulled pork - meaty, smoky, flavoursome! Mac & Cheese - creamy, cheesy, heavenly! Homemade slaw - crunchy, fresh! What more could you want?! The wife had her usual, chicken and chorizo burrito! Chunks of chorizo the size of your thumb in amongst beautifully tender chicken! A salted beef quesadilla to share - superbly done! Mariachi lager - a must try! Incredibly great value for money and if they’d have been open on Sunday, I’d have gone back for the same again! Staff make you feel very welcome and are really attentive! The true hidden gem of Windermere and deserves to be ranked #1!

The best burrito to ever grace my pallet I absolutely thrive off Mexican food and I can hand on heart say this is by far the best Mexican food I have ever tasted and if your in town you must visit this establishment

My husband called in for takeaway lunch on a rainy day ..ordered a salt beef burrito and pulled pork, 15 minute wait £20. They were packed and excellent meat and flavours..super filling! Only think to make it even better We found the rice quite wet and in turn didn't really hold, and made the wrap soggy . If it were drier it would be perfect x

Absolutely stunning!! We managed to book a table for five of us with 30 minutes notice - with a baby and a dog!! We’d already researched the menu so knew we were going to love it, but the food was honestly INCREDIBLE. Two of us had the special beef chilli burrito bowl (with a side of hassleback potatoes, nachos AND a side of mac and cheese!!), one had the pulled pork mac and cheese, another had the pulled pork burrito and the other had the spicy beef burrito bowl. Full tummies and compliments all around. The staff were so lovely and welcoming - very attentive and even gave my little dog a treat and a bowl of water without us having to ask. The food was truly stunning and I’m so glad we managed to grab a table before we left for home. THANK YOU SO MUCH to all at Bandito Burrito!!

We couldn’t decide between Mexican and Tapas. So glad Mexican won! What a quaint little place. We were seated within 10 minutes of stumbling in without a reservation, in an already busy restaurant. Staff were friendly and food was so tasty. We had beef brisket and chicken and chorizo burritos followed by a lovely homemade Bakewell tart, all washed down with Mexican lager.
