We are regular customers, and usually the food is top class, always hot, well packaged, great portion sizes, very well marinated. But for some reason tonight, it was very poor. Food very Cold, smaller portion size, just not like usual. disappointed.

No forks, utensils or paper towels provided with takeaway (needed food on journey to Aberdeen) Food was so disgusting that I had to throw it away, my hands were also covered in kebab sauce Would give this place zero stars if I could, one to avoid at all costs

Genuinely one of the best takeaway kebabs/hoagies I have ever had and trust me I eat a lot of this type of food due to travelling around Scotland for work. The donner was thick and juicy, not like the usual dry scraps you get from places and the chicken was delicious also. Would highly recommend Azaad to anyone in or around the Dundee region. Top lads.

Best Indian takeaway by far, food is always hot & fresh, they make great use of their Rational Oven, nothing is ever too dry, great food, great portions, great flavours, absolutely nothing to complain about! :)

Most definitely the absolute tastiest lamb tikka I have ever eaten.. soft, succulent, flavoursome and juicy. Tarka dall was on point and the tandoori roti was cooked perfectly. Well done lads …. You guys consistently smash it !

We are returning customers to Azaad in Invergowrie. We usually order their curries as I think they are the best in town. However, tonight we decided to try 'The Kebab Platter' after previously seeing it advertised on their Instagram. It was amazing! As always, the quality and flavour of the meat, accompaniments, salad and sauces were delicious. In terms of value for money, you wont find this amount of food at that quality for this price anywhere. The portion is recommended for 2 people. However, the Azaad are always very generous with their portions and this could easily feed 3-4 people. I would order this meal again and would recommend to anyone. I added a portion of chips and the total bill was less than £20. Superb! 5*

I am a regular at Azaad in Invergowrie and certainly my goto place in the Dundee area if I want to have a kabab. I usually order via the website, and the food is always ready when I arrive. This week, I had a Donner Khobedi and some chips, which was an ample and tasty supper and certainly hot. My favourite is the Kabab Platter and which lasts me a good couple of days and consists of lovely rice, chicken tikka, lamb, and Donner meat, onions, and peppers two fabulous breads. It was a great meal and great service. I shall return time after time.

This is by far the best takeaway we have experienced across the Dundee area. Food is consistently fresh, using their own recipes and traditional cooking methods. This makes for exceptional taste across their menu. We have been regular customers here for the past few years and happily travel to collect using their own online website. We have never been disappointed and have eaten right across their menu, our favourites -that simply do not taste as good elsewhere- are the juicy peshwari naan, mixed kebabs, and the spinach tikka masala and butter chicken recipes. Utterly delightful. As is their chicken! They do a fabulous executive meal for two and offer a real genuine friendly service. Thank you for our regular Sunday feasts, we love your food.

Mixed kebab platter cooked to perfection, all meats was so fresh tasting and sauces that came with it were amazing. Staff were so helpful explaining everything that was in the platter and how it was all cooked ect. Was bought for 2 but could easily feed 3 or even 4 people.

This has got to be the best Kebab in the area. Portion sizes are always good and the quality is always amazing. The shop are brilliant at fixing it when things go right (which isn’t very often I should say. Once in all my times of ordering and that was sorted within 10 minutes). If you are reading reviews trying to decide if you should order from here I’d say 100% go for it! You won’t regret it and you’ve just found your new go to takeaway

Food arrived bang on time with a friendly delivery guy, the chicken tikka masala pizza was much better than I've had previously around dundee and the munchy box oyf so much and so good, no idea what the orange sauce is but I'm officially a fan 10/10 really can't recommend this place enough

I posted last week about a delivery we received and it was not a good meal , not bad but not great. Amar read my post and said to contact him. I did this and he explained in great detail what went wrong. one of the first things he said to me was I will make this right and I am very sorry. He took quite sometime on the phone which was nice to hear, did not fob me off. I am reluctant to say what he did because some might try to obtain free meals. I am 100% satisfied what he did and what he supplied was mouth watering. I will be a returning customer. Thank you Amar

Ordered from here last night 27/06/2024 after reading and hearing people talk about how good it was , well we were very disappointed literally no taste in the Vindaloo it had a fine strength as you would expect but the lamb if it was lamb was dry , the rice was just plain which we picked but I for one will not be a returning customer £32.00 for two curries and rice also one nan which was wafer thin .

After being recommended by several people, we were disappointed in certain aspects of the meal. Lamb and chicken were beautiful but everything else wasn’t that good

Expected it to be late anyway, it's a Saturday evening and it will be busy

Mixed Khobedi for 2 people - wow!! Was a huge portion could probably feed 3/4 people. Meat was very tasty and fell apart. Curry and rice was a huge portion and very tasty. 40% off £25 is a great deal! Never a bad meal from here 🤤

Ordered from Azaad whilst up here on holiday due to all the great reviews - it did not disappoint! We ordered the curry deal for 4 people (there was 5 of us) and it was more than plenty of food, we had left overs. All food was really tasty, meat cooked to perfection.

First visit Sunday 2nd June 2024, and probably my last, so, so, so disappointed, have heard how good this place was from family and friends and ordered a mixed tandoori starter and a chicken tikka, butter chicken with pilau rice. Hard to get wrong you would think, however, starter was fine, nothing exceptional, butter chicken, described in menu as, "...a rich and silky butter sauce", was no more a butter chicken than anything I have ever tasted before,the lack of butter and cream was clearly evident and it was a grainy, soupy, tasteless texture, consisting of whole chicken goujons ?? never experienced this in all my long life of eating and making curries. Pilau rice was a boiled version of white rice. Sorry to be so negative but can only tell it like it is and unlikely to return anytime soon.

this was an exceptional curry, we all absolutely loved it. the chicken was large breast pieces and moist, the lamb was succulent and tender. all of the sauces were distinctive and different and equally tasty. best takeaway we have had in absolutely ages. please set up a branch in Yorkshire

Just started ordering from here for the first time. The only local takeaway with really gorgeously tasty kebab and the chips are totally unmatched to every other takeaway in the city. So so impressed plus fast delivery and really lovely drivers - will absolutely be a returning customer

£9.50 for their largest doner kebab, i could have got a small kebab for around £5 at a more local kebab shop and it still wouldve been more thsn I got here for £9.50. Very poor quantity of kebab for that price. Small amount of chips. The chicken pakora got binned tasted funny, but then was it right cooked, i walked in and ordered and received it within 5 minutes, that never happens. Ive had to wait between 20 to 30 minutes for similar orders in other kebab shops ive went to. These fast food outlets are fly, they bag it all up out of vision, give you your order, you get all the way home and theyve shortchanged you. Knowing you probably wont come all the way back with it. Well it wont be a problem again because I wont be back. Poor portions for the price.
