Visited Azaad last night about 10pm. I was after a large donor?. The doner meat was gone off the revolving spit so I was given meat from inside a pot. I was in and out in 2 mins and when I drove the 2 miles to my house in Longforgan I found the meat was cold. Very disappointing. Hi Amar. Thanks for your swift response to my disappointing review. Very busy and order was 35 minutes after collection time. Pizza was cold due to being ready 20 minutes before the rest of the order was ready.

Was just in there 30 mins ago. Ordered Large donner kebab. And it sure was large. Great portion, very fresh meat. Perfect meal. Keep it up 👍👌💪

Had a chicken biryani and it was awful, waaay too much salt in it with an average at best bhuna sauce. Only saved by the naan bread. Sad as this used to be my favourite place for an Indian meal.

Almost everything was cold. Donner meat was the driest donner meat I've ever had. Chicken pakoras were tough inside and soggy outside. Chips looked and tasted reheated. Disappointing from start to finish.

Azaad invergowrie is amazing they use Chicken Tenderloins in all of their dishes instead of chicken breast. Tenderloins cost considerably more and I prefer the fact that they stay softer and juicier much longer. Azaad have invested in a state of the art 10 Grid Rational iCombi Pro for their rice and it tastes amazing and they don't add any artifical colours to the rice. Each Naan is made to order on a state of the art tandoor . The Lamb Tikka is the stuff of legends!! Its made using locally sourced lamb tenderloin, which is from the underside of the shortloin. It has virtually no fat and is one of the most tender cuts of lamb. So all in all Azaad invergowrie is the best takeaway you'll have the pleasure of experiencing. People come for all over like myself,I come from perth just to get an Azaad.

After reading the awful review posted last week I wanted to try for myself, you did not disappointed. The chicken was tender and the sauce was beautiful. The rice was nice and fluffy and the nan bread was very tasty. 10/10 will definitely order again

Staying in the area for weekend and decided to try here for dinner and so glad we did. We had pizzas and they were perfect. Yes had to wait 25 minutes but you could see just how busy they were and how hard they were working. Pizzas were lovely, tasty and hot. Would definitely recommend!

Shocking ……pizza n chips were basic as you get harder to get wrong than right edible just …. Chicken madras meal for one jar of madras sauce farm foods mini fillets in a curry white micro rice and the nan clearly a shop bought rap 🫣marone my nan would still look fresher and plumper and shes been gone for 20 years god rest her marvellous soul 🙏🏼 lamb tikka starter ffs doubt theyd post what id have to say about that pathetic effort from a food establishment 🤢🤮the gowrie inn across the road must have the only proper chefs in the village

We are regular customers, and usually the food is top class, always hot, well packaged, great portion sizes, very well marinated. But for some reason tonight, it was very poor. Food very Cold, smaller portion size, just not like usual. disappointed.

No forks, utensils or paper towels provided with takeaway (needed food on journey to Aberdeen) Food was so disgusting that I had to throw it away, my hands were also covered in kebab sauce Would give this place zero stars if I could, one to avoid at all costs

Genuinely one of the best takeaway kebabs/hoagies I have ever had and trust me I eat a lot of this type of food due to travelling around Scotland for work. The donner was thick and juicy, not like the usual dry scraps you get from places and the chicken was delicious also. Would highly recommend Azaad to anyone in or around the Dundee region. Top lads.

We are returning customers to Azaad in Invergowrie. We usually order their curries as I think they are the best in town. However, tonight we decided to try 'The Kebab Platter' after previously seeing it advertised on their Instagram. It was amazing! As always, the quality and flavour of the meat, accompaniments, salad and sauces were delicious. In terms of value for money, you wont find this amount of food at that quality for this price anywhere. The portion is recommended for 2 people. However, the Azaad are always very generous with their portions and this could easily feed 3-4 people. I would order this meal again and would recommend to anyone. I added a portion of chips and the total bill was less than £20. Superb! 5*

I am a regular at Azaad in Invergowrie and certainly my goto place in the Dundee area if I want to have a kabab. I usually order via the website, and the food is always ready when I arrive. This week, I had a Donner Khobedi and some chips, which was an ample and tasty supper and certainly hot. My favourite is the Kabab Platter and which lasts me a good couple of days and consists of lovely rice, chicken tikka, lamb, and Donner meat, onions, and peppers two fabulous breads. It was a great meal and great service. I shall return time after time.

This is by far the best takeaway we have experienced across the Dundee area. Food is consistently fresh, using their own recipes and traditional cooking methods. This makes for exceptional taste across their menu. We have been regular customers here for the past few years and happily travel to collect using their own online website. We have never been disappointed and have eaten right across their menu, our favourites -that simply do not taste as good elsewhere- are the juicy peshwari naan, mixed kebabs, and the spinach tikka masala and butter chicken recipes. Utterly delightful. As is their chicken! They do a fabulous executive meal for two and offer a real genuine friendly service. Thank you for our regular Sunday feasts, we love your food.

Mixed kebab platter cooked to perfection, all meats was so fresh tasting and sauces that came with it were amazing. Staff were so helpful explaining everything that was in the platter and how it was all cooked ect. Was bought for 2 but could easily feed 3 or even 4 people.

This has got to be the best Kebab in the area. Portion sizes are always good and the quality is always amazing. The shop are brilliant at fixing it when things go right (which isn’t very often I should say. Once in all my times of ordering and that was sorted within 10 minutes). If you are reading reviews trying to decide if you should order from here I’d say 100% go for it! You won’t regret it and you’ve just found your new go to takeaway

Food arrived bang on time with a friendly delivery guy, the chicken tikka masala pizza was much better than I've had previously around dundee and the munchy box oyf so much and so good, no idea what the orange sauce is but I'm officially a fan 10/10 really can't recommend this place enough

I posted last week about a delivery we received and it was not a good meal , not bad but not great. Amar read my post and said to contact him. I did this and he explained in great detail what went wrong. one of the first things he said to me was I will make this right and I am very sorry. He took quite sometime on the phone which was nice to hear, did not fob me off. I am reluctant to say what he did because some might try to obtain free meals. Ordered from here last night 27/06/2024 after reading and hearing people talk about how good it was , well we were very disappointed literally no taste in the Vindaloo it had a fine strength as you would expect but the lamb if it was lamb was dry , the rice was just plain which we picked but I for one will not be a returning customer £32.00 for two curries and rice also one nan which was wafer thin .
