In comparison to other takeaways I would give this place 6 stars if able tasty food decent portions and at a reasonable price

Update the prices on menus before distributing to houses!!!

Been going here for a few years since it opened really. Food used to be really good however last few months it's gone downhill badly. Curry sauce and BBQ sauce was water with colourings, no flavour at all. Beef was very tough and chicken a bit slimey. I really hope Asian star step up there game again because people used to travel from far to here.

Finally, a decent Chinese in glengormley. Everything was delicious.

Waited 3 hours on food and then it arrived cold.

Just NO… food is always cold…. Staff are rude

Waited 1 hour on food and then it arrives with a cracked tub of gravy that leaked all over our food. When I phoned to tell them they phoned the driver who said it was not cracked when he had it.. lies. £26 and to get this kind of service. They agreed to send a new order and it took 1 hour to arrive and it was cold and missing sauces. I then phoned back and they refused to replace it. The woman on the phone has a real attitude problem. Was very rude. Was told I was lying and to never order from here again. Even though it was their fault.

Ordered a munchie box, £20 deal, asked the girl the cost over all on the phone she said £22.50. Driver got to the door and said £25.50 baring in mind I live less than 2 miles away so don’t understand the extra £3 charge I was given. Just seems odd. Then to come on here and see it’s happened to multiple people. It’s a shame the food is really nice but I guess if I’m to eat here again il pick it up myself.

We always ordered from here when we lived in Glengormley. Haven’t been in a while as we moved a bit further away but decided we wanted a really good Chinese so made the 20 minute drive and really wish we hadn’t. The salted chilli chicken was dry (drier than expected) and had a strange aftertaste like the chicken wasn’t fresh. The large tub of curry sauce was extremely thin and watery. It had no decent curry flavour and definitely tasted watery and didn’t add anything to the meal. Sad to say we won’t be making the trip again. The price has also increased quite a bit but we didn’t initially mind as we expected to be getting quality food. I don’t recommend. At least it stopped me from overeating because I left the majority of it.

First and last. Ordered for 1st time here as recently got leaflet posted through my door. Was told delivery would be an hour and total cost (Including £4.50 delivery for the 3 mile trip). After 3 phone calls to chase up delivery, the food arrived 2 hrs after ordering. Better still, it was wrong order and another £2 had been added to bill. Rang back about wrong food and was told correct meal would be sent out as replacement immediately. Another hr later and still no replacement (now 3hrs from ordering). Was told replacement had been delivered. It hadnt. Person on phone said she would talk to driver and get straight back to me. After 20 mins she hadnt rang so i rang and cancelled replacement as now coming up to 4hrs from ordering. I was told they would come back with a refund and drop through the letterbox. Needless to say, I'm still waiting (but it has only been 24 hrs). Absolute joke. Not a good way to run a business.

Had lovely chop sui. Was cooked to perfection. 5 star quality. 👍

Order from here most weeks, food is good and service is normally quick. Satay is especially nice and Crispy duck is just yum! Update, they repeatly forget the prawn crackers, even when spending above the stated amount inc delivery and dispiste asking. Lose a star!

First time I've ordered from Asian star. The food was fantastic, piping hot and delivery was only 15 minutes. Highly recommended

Sweet & sour chicken balls ordered, plus spring rolls. Sweet &sour sauce was awful. Tasted like Worcester sauce. Spring rolls, so salty. Meal binned. Never again.

added an order and the guy behind the counter i think his name is taylor but he started swearing at me and call me a gimp i will never order from here again absolutely dreadful (the boy behind the counter wasnt even asian)

First meal from this place, 27/05/22. Very impressive! Generous portions, fresh and very tasty. Singapore Chow Mien and special Thai Satay, chips and extra curry sauce. £18. Will definitely go again. The only minus was that I had to ask for prawn crackers, most other places give a portion for free and no card payments, other than that, would highly recommend.

Got a delivery when it came it wasn't warm iv had out off here before and was very nice I wouldnt get delivery again the driver was o a other delivery 3 miles away so £19 in the bin didn't even ring wats the point nxt time I'll just drive up thanks asian star - 10

We always order from this Chinese, delivery has always been very fast, food always delicious and fresh. Never missed anything from an order! Highly recommend

Hot tasty and great portions. I stayed shy of a 5⭐review due to a bug bear of mine - when you have a queue of people standing in the takeaway and you keep answering the phone taking orders until they stop (I counted 5 orders = 9 minutes) and ignore those in front of you you've got the customer service back to front. You should imo give precedence to those who've taken the trouble to collect in person or put a second person on the phone Apart from that I couldn't fault the place and I will be back but I'll phone ahead next time and save myself the 40 minute wait

This was my third time, the first time it was exceptional, a week later very ordinary and today it was disgusting. Ordered a delivery and 1 hour 25 mins hadnt been dispatched so I drove down to pick up. Asked if it was cold and staff muttered something intelligible in response. Got home, chips burnt and stone cold, same for chicken balls and chow mein. Had to reheat every dish and basically ruined mothers day treat. Appreciate its mothers day and really busy however how can you burn something as basic as chips?
