Arco Restaurant in Coventry

This is on my calendar every time I come to town. The menu has many options and great flavours.

Lovely little italian, delicious food and nice service.

Food was decent but fairly pricy, it was quiet with only two tables but it was Thursday. A weird loud bell was kind of off putting when food was ready , waitresses rushing when hearing bell. Surely there is a better option for customer experience. It is a minor issue , I would visit again , if was decent , ordered beef rib with extra veg

Very nice restaurant , but expensive and food is not very good. The spaghetti carbonara were very salty and the sea food linguini very sour .

Fantastic place in Coventry where to have a really good pizza. Many good choices on the menu as well and probably come back! Recommended! Thank you Lydia for the great service.

Booked a day before for a family birthday . When we arrived it was closed and still not heard anything back from them . No answer on phone 🤷🏽‍♀️

Had a reservation for 7pm today Saturday 11th May Arrived to a closed restaurant shutters down no sign of anyone spoke to the gentlemen in the Indian restaurant next door said they had been closed for 3 days.

Food was amazing. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend

There were 6 of us and we shared 3 starters and a second course for each. The starters are not very generous, but the second ones are, and we were all pretty good. The pasta, rice and pizzas were all very good. The atmosphere a bit noisy, but nothing to disturb. Recommended!!!! It's not cheap, but it's not outrageously expensive either. In our case it came out to us for about 35 pounds per person, with drinks included (water and 2 bottles of wine) and without dessert.

Lovely little Italian restaurant with friendly staff, pleasant decor and tasty food. Me and my family really enjoyed all the dishes served, would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The little restaurant is cozy, has a nice vibe and decor, the food is really good, the plating and the available options to order are amazing, the service could have been better, in the sense that the staff waiting the tables seemed very distracted, did not ask if we want salt and pepper, or extra parmigiano for pasta, but overall we will visit again. Street parking is the only downside of the location.

Absolutely love this place !! Have eaten in a few times also and the food is exactly the same quality for delivery’s full of flavour always piping hot. Can not fault the place!

Underwhelming food. Slow service. I wouldn't eat here again.

First time going here and went here for my birthday with my mum and dad. Had the short rib and it was 10/10! The staff were very kind and the atmosphere was amazing! Will definitely be coming back for another short rib and a glass of chianti classico!

Overpriced, slow service and little to no meat in lasagna - avoid

We'd previously visited Arco last year for a birthday and it was lovely, so visited again tonight to celebrate a promotion - unfortunately we were really disappointed this time. The menus were all paper and didn't match the how lovely the restaurant appears to be. The service was slow and our waiter seemed disinterested and inconvenienced when when taking our order. Unfortunately the food was long waits too, and when it did arrive the meat content of the pasta dishes was disappointing and overall lacked in flavour. Its such a shame to see that Arco has gone downhill since we last visited - we would travel further afield in the future of a high quality Italian restaurant.

Booked a meal for my partners birthday, arrived on the Saturday evening to find it closed with no notice.

Although we had a booking the restaurant was closed. Maybe it has shut down?

A modern Italian restaurant. I visited it with my family. The food was delicious. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Lovely service, so friendly and welcoming. The food felt very basic for the price, not a lot of option and tasted quite bland. However, my partner ordered pizza and it tasted amazing. Just wanted more flavour in my pasta.

So disappointing. Used to be such a lovely restaurant but the quality of the pasta dishes was terrible. Barely any sauce, uncooked pepperoni and sticky pasta that was identical to what you’d get in Aldi. Won’t be returning as it’s £18-19 for a dish worth £5-8 in a takeaway

My wife picked this place, I'm glad she did. The food was amazing & the staff very polite (even the chef popped out to see if everything was ok) Would definitely come back again

Delicious food with good quality ingredients, really good service and nice interior with climatic music. The only disadvantage it’s a bit cold in there.

I had a couple hours to kill before a check-in in the town centre, the weather was grim outside and I just felt like a pizza so I popped in this restaurant around midday. The food and the wine were delicious. The red-haired waitress was lovely and very helpful. The decor was also very pleasant. Will definitely come back one day!

Just drinks tonight, but staff working well despite being shorthanded.

Honestly, it was great.... Except for the churro balls. You're given a spoon, but you need a knife to get through it. Not much flavour and way too chewy. I would have rated the food 5 stars if it wasn't for those things.

We went for dinner last night and had such a lovely evening. The food was gorgeous, so full of flavour and we were spoilt for choice. The service was great with staff checking in with us regularly and especially Aslan who was wonderful host. He explained they only use fresh produce, which is sourced locally. We will definitely be back, thank you.

My gluten free pasta dish was beautifully cooked and delicious. Sadly, the service was severely lacking. The staff were very friendly and in need of some customer service training. The tiramisu was very strange and included some very runny meringue!?

Walked in 10.05 after watching a show at the Albany We were a couple who wanted to sit down and have a cocktail , the waitress had to go and ask the manager who said they are finished for night even though it says it was clearly stated on the door it was open until 10.30 When I questioned this the waitress with a mouth full of food shrugged her shoulders I will never go back again

Supposed Italian restaurant different menu from last year .more greek than italian maybe 2 or 3 dishes italian past 2 dishes desserts none italian must be different chef from last time there. I'll pay good money for good food this food was rubbish

I have been coming to Arco a few times now. The food is good and there are a number of accommodating options. The cocktails taste good and there is a nice variation. Inside, the atmosphere is cosy and welcoming. Last time I visited with my girlfriend and parents we had issues with a misplaced order (had to reorder and wait) and my risotto was slightly undercooked. The flavours were great though and I didn't have these issues when I visited previously so I've marked it as a one-off. The server was very apologetic and gave us a discount for the inconvenience. Overall I recommend this place for a date or family dinner.

Bit of a gem this one. Easy online booking for a table in the bar area, friendly welcome from the staff on arrival. Food was great, from the bread and oils, the bruschetta and the King prawn pasta, all well presented and nicely cooked and very tasty. Also had a very nice cocktail and to finish a lovely coffee liqueur. The service throughout was friendly and attentive.

Really enjoyable evening. Couldn't fault the service or food. Only (very slight) criticism I'd look have was that the light was out over our table so it was quite a dark table.

This place has had a makeover. Somewhat at odds with the rest of the street this is a proper find. Tasty good value food in comfortable and clean surroundings. A good choice on the menu for all tastes. Well worth sampling

The best Italian restaurant in the city!

£80-90 for a meal. Go to Any generic Italian highstreet restaurant. Awful food for the price. Prezzo is just as good and a fraction of the price, not that I like Prezzo! Service was great, staff very friendly. I had the mussels to start which had no meat and the tomato and chilli sauce was tasteless because of the amount of chilli. My wife had Bruchetta which was fine. For mains my wife had the bolognaise which was just minced beef chopped tomatoes and too much Basil! You could male the same for £5 from tesco and this one will set you back £16! I had the lamb shank, I've had better boil in the bag lamb shanks. Pet food is quite frankly of a better quality and taste. One star is also given because the toilet door to the ladies does not shut so you may as well set up your table in the bathroom of you are too close! Overall very disappointed given the flurry of strong reviews.

We had a delicious evening meal here. The liver starter was cooked to perfection and the salmon and broccoli linguine was tasty too. The restaurant was busy even though it was early evening which made for a great ambience. Service was attentive but not intrusive which is always good. The street is a busy corner with a row of takeaways etc but don't let that put you off visiting this hidden gem!

Went to Arco when it first opened and the service wasn't great. Thought we'd try again, hadn't booked but were seated at one of bar tables, which was nice enough. Nice atmosphere, enough serving staff who appeared to know the menu. Food was really lovely, did have some vegan options too but only a few. The bruscetta really fresh and tasty. The tiramusi was really lovely but for me could have done with a little bit more booze. Will definitely be back and would definetly recommend.🙂

We were two couples looking for a nice lunch on a Saturday afternoon and we found the perfect place in Arco. Service was excellent and the food superb. All 4 dishes were lovely, with very good portion sizes. Not cheap, but not too expensive. It felt like we had enjoyed and paid for a premium dining experience - ~£170 for 4 people including 2 bottles of wine. We will definitely go back.

Really nice evening. Food was spot on, service very good and friendly, prices not cheap but for this quality about right. Venue is very comfortable with a nice vibe. Plenty of nearby parking, we walked as we used nearby hotel.

guys, you have such a wonderful team of waiters, but what happened yesterday at the celebration of the birthday of our child surprised me and a little disappointed, we ordered an aperitif, ordered wine and main dishes ... and ... to our disappointment, the food was brought after an hour and a half ... no one came up to apologize and report that the order was delayed, but only said that it was allegedly our fault that we did not ask for food (it has been ready for a long time) ... my opinion, you need to work out communication skills and discuss this with visitors ... given that the children were present, they were already impatiently hungry and asked about food .... thank you, of course, the food was delicious, but how it was all decided and after what time left an unpleasant impression .....

Would recommend for a date night. Posh and elegant restaurant. Loved the experience. Small serving sizes though.

We ordered 4 items from the menu. All of them were impeccable, especially the Mussels were awesome. Authentic Italian food I would say. Staffs were polite and helpful to make us understand the ingredients in a few of the dishes.

Good service and good quality food

All five of us had a different meal. All of us agreed the food and service was excellent.

The food and drink was very good. The food was presented in a lovely fashion. The dessert was delicious - had the Bailey's white chocolate cheesecake. Parking was difficult as much of the street parking is for residential purposes. Servers were friendly, the taking the orders and the delivery from the kitchen was a bit slow. Overall, I recommend going here!

Another fantastic meal at Arco Will be back again

Ordered chicken pizza, plate size, cost £11 could not see the chicken very thin layer of cheese so the chicken pieces should have been visible, never again shall I order a pizza from here. Ordered spaghetti bolognese £16 came in a small container 3/4 full. The mince meat was microscopic size, reason so they can make many portions from a small amount of mince. I value the ingredients cost them no more than .60p Terrible taste waste of money. Arco you charge so much money you can use better sized ingredients to give taste. Forced to give 1* as there is no option for 0* I have eaten food from restaurants around the world and this one unfortunately was very disappointing.

Great food and great team! I went to Arcos nine months ago and wasn’t too tasty but I came from Rome to visit a friend in Coventry and he recommended me, Arcos, definitely very good food and I was very surprised with the change! We went on Sunday the 11th of September to celebrate my visit ☺️ and I was very pleased with the food!! Especially with “Tagliatelle Al Gamberi” and “Carbonara”. I am Italian and I know that Carbonara is originally made differently but it was amazing! Bravissimo to the chef!!

Definitely wouldn't go again. Pizza was average and the "fresh pasta mushroom ravioli" was abysmal! Mushrooms were chewy, garlic and salt overload and I love garlic, but seriously it was awful. Pasta was overheated in a microwave for sure and the mushrooms tasted really weird and chewy. Just awful. Didn't complain as I was with a big group and didn't want to make a scene.

Great food, restaurant and ambiance. I also found the prices reasonable. Good portions. I had a caramel espresso martini which was very tasty. Great selection in the menu and food tasted fresh.

It's always a delightful surprise to find a family run restaurant that charges only a little over pub grub prices yet their food is ten times better than pub food. All made fresh on the premises by an Italian chef, the food was absolutely amazing. And the service excellent. I'll be back.

the interior decoration is something i appreciated a lot and service was nice as well! had the salmon linguine which was very good as was the garlic cheese bread! the bread and oils were average (bread was on the burnt side)
