Amore Express in Renfrewshire

Phoned the restaurant as it was saying the food was nearly there to be told it was the next order. Waited a further 30 minutes for the delivery. I was unable to cancel the order as it was showing as already delivered on the app.

Order still not been delivered was told at 19.15 it was next to leave and 20.00 still waiting called and was told it was next to go in kitchen

Food was hot. Fresh ingredients. Delicious. We had the creamy broccoli, chicken pass don’t the pan fried chicken with tomato pasta. They were both delicious.

Waited a very long time, ordered 5:50 and never arrived until after 7pm as order was delayed. The lasagne was a sloppy mess it was almost inedible The food was really disappointing especially after the long wait!

Food was a bit later than ordered, but everything was delicious and I enjoyed every mouthful! I will order again soon

Love their bruschetta. It’s better in comparison to some Italian restaurants I’ve visited. I normally order the penne amore which used to always be a great dish but as time has gone by the flavour doesn’t taste so good. I ordered macaroni cheese on this occasion for my children and I can honestly say my homemade version was nicer than this bright yellow version I received. It tasted more of chicken stock than cheese. Which I found strange. They do a great chicken Milanese and pizza dishes also

My daughter ordered a 16 inch pizza wrong pizza came the guy at reception was very pleasant sent the proper one and we got to keep the other one a margarita which was delicious we had forgotten about this place got our pizzas from chillis which are good but these are far better ordered again since pizzas are the real deal

Swiss burger arrived in a soggy box & was stoating hard. After 3 bites i gave up & fed it to the dog. Not at all up to usual standard!!! From order time to delivery 1hr 25mins. Bruschetta was lovley as per.

Ordered from here loads and always enjoyed. The macaroni was delicious but the arriabiatta was absolutely rediculously spicy. I know it’s meant to be a little spicy as I have had it before but this was rediculous! Never ate it and it was red hot!

The food was terrible. We got a bbq chicken pizza and all it was, was chicken on pizza with loads of bbq sauce all over it. Totally ruined the pizza. Chips where rotten. Macaroni was disgusting. Food in the bin, waste of money.

Wee bit expensive especially for renfrew, but their pizzas are excellent quality. Miles ahead of any of the kebab or chip shops who do sell pizza. Nice staff too. Also

Pollo milanese was lovely as always, but tried the tagliatelle gambretti, and it just wasn’t to my taste. But that’s personal preference I guess. Still would order amore time and time again!

i absolutely love this place, however i have came here almost 10 years religiously for the macaroni, i was so sad to notice they have changed the recipe and now tastes of butter and garlic and not the original mac n cheese they always made

Shocking wait time of over 2 and a half hours for a small order. Wasn't worth the wait either and member of staff on the phone had a poor attitude when we followed up on the order. Won't order from here again!

Food was 10/10 ordered a small cheese pizza because I thought portion of pasta would be small but I couldn't finish the pizza as the pasta was a good portion, delivery driver was sound over all 10/10 highly recommend

Went in to shop and placed an order, waited 15 mins, drove home to paisley, to be given the wrong pasta. Phoned up and told them and explained that I came from paisley to get my order and asked if someone could deliver the correct order to save me again driving from paisley to Renfrew to be told no I would need to come and pick it up. Drove back to Renfrew again to pick up the correct order, all they could say was sorry. Never offered something complimentary or even a refund . First and last , won’t be back !!

Best takeaway in Renfrew. You get what you pay for, food is always amazing and cooked fresh.

Made an order over the phone and tried to charge £30 for two pizzas when online it was only £24. After was then told they have put their prices up. We said aw okay no thanks we will leave it. Then get a call 20 mins later with a woman being totally rude down the phone saying she has made our pizzas and why are we not there to collect. The woman’s attitude down the phone was appalling when she had not heard down the phone that we wanted to leave it which is not our faults. Will not be ordering again due to the awful way a certain individual speaks to customers. Would not recommend at all!

Occasionally come here for lunch i normally get pasta and chips for 5 pound and it normally is in a white dish that does half pasta half chips in it well today i went in the guy couldn't have been any ruder to me, his attitude towards me was shocking, asked him for pasta and chips for the lunch time one and said in a attitude way the school time one when i didn't say anything about a school time one and then went onto tell me the pasta i wanted was only for the school kids and then told me i wasn't getting chips and that i was getting garlic bread... so i told him know what just leave it and he went okay bye see you later again in a cheeky way, so my pal went into get it for me and he acted the same way with her and gave her garlic bread with it and made her pay for the chips separate! 8/9 pound it cost me just for a lunch! shocking i normally recommend this place but now after that i certainly wont be back... i also said i come in here a lot and he said "you come in here when, when do you come in here" and laughed in my face.. terrible experience... will not be back!!!

I ordered a 12-inch margarita pizza from the lunch deal for a fiver. The pizza was a new york style pizza with proper Italian sauce used as the pizza base! Overall I would recommend it if you like pizza and live near it. :)

First time customer.Placed order via Uber Eats @ 19:20 estimated delivery time was 19:55....19:55 goes by so I called to check where my food was - the young girl explained that it was a 2 hour wait they were just unable to update the restaurant details on the Uber app like they could on JE. Food arrives at 21:10! All in all the food was ok - certainly not worth a 2 hour wait. Pizza was nice just not great and the pasta lacked seasoning. The overall feeling was just ok - £20 later and a 2 hour wait would I order again? No.

Ordered 12 ich meat feast pizza 🍕...meat was tough and the pizza was like rubber...probably one of the worst I've had. Also ordered Penne carbonara which was really nice but definitely a bit over priced. Chips i Ordered were soggy and tasteless. At the prices they are charging for takeaway food I'd expect a lot better. I might return for pasta dishes in future but definitely won't be rushing back.

Tried a pasta and pizza=both taste nice however I've seen the guy getting supplies from the local aldi and farmfoods=actually going in to the amore with a shopping trolley of the stuff,so for the price I'd expect better quality
