Amazing meal on a Sunday at lunch time. I didn’t even realise they were open at this time! We will definitely return 🥰 Fabulous food and superb service.

Lovely meal tonight. Great service from lovely staff. Young waiter helped my disabled husband to visit the toilet and brought him back to our table. It was a special meal for our 55th wedding anniversary, many thanks to all the staff.

Birthday dinner for husband. Warm and cosy restaurant. Service very good. We had prawns to start. Followed by fish pasta and sea bass. It was all served really hot which is great. Are you looking for an Italian restaurant visit Amici. It has very kind staff, and restaurant is very fancy, has comfy seats and it was very, very clean. The food was AMAZING, I felt like I had been transported to Italy! The pasta was really juicy and scrumptious and the pizza mwha…amazing! You can choose your own pizza topping. You can pick pineapple, tomatoes, sausages, pepperoni to name but a few. It's the perfect place to visit for a family get together, a romantic date or Thursday when you can't be bothered to cook. I loved it there. I give it a five star rating.

I visited Amici restaurant with my parents for a family birthday. It is a great place for a delicious dinner for all occasions. Their drinks are also out of this world! When we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted by a lovely Italian gentleman who was kind and friendly. He took us to our table and a wonderful waitress, named Ellie, brought us the menu. We had plenty of time to choose what we wanted, nothing was rushed, which was fantastic. When the food arrived it was outstanding - it was hot, fresh and well cooked. I had steak, and it was so juicy and thick, it was one of the best steaks I have ever had. The restaurant was calm, played Italian music and there were plenty of people talking and laughing. This Italian restaurant is definitely worth a visit, especially if you live in the Blackwood area. It's a fantastic Italian right on our doorstep.

Wow! First time in visiting and I was very impressed. Staff were amazing . Very polite and friendly. I’ve been to Italians in the past and always been put off but pushy waiters. There was a new lad that had just started and he did an impeccable job. Was freindly with my children and myself. Made me feel so welcome! The food was delicious! The best Italian I’ve had by far? My children had pizza which they thoroughly enjoyed. Portions are huge ! Very reasonably priced. Children are quite fussy with food and the really enjoyed the pizza. This is now my fav place to go.

Went with a group before a show in Blackwood Institute. Food wasn't the best sadly. 😕 Nobody in the party left there with amazing opinion of what they had to eat. Service a bit disjointed with some having almost finished food whilst others still waiting on theirs. Waiting staff were friendly and tried to make it better but there's only so much they can do. Wouldn't not go there again if was part of a group that wqs going ....but myself....wouldn't book to go again if I could help avoiding.

The food and service was of a high standard as has been the case on my previous visits. I have however checked the prices i paid for drinks and feel that they are high in my opinion. Soda and a dash of lime at £4 and Tia maria at £5.80. I may need to review my expectations but please consider your prices.

Beautiful interior with very friendly staff and on top of that the food was great! I, personally, had a steak and it was so good. Tender and juicy, easy to cut and of great size. With the starter and the desert also being so nice. I highly recommend this place but more so for occasions like dates as the intimacy would be ever-present along with great food and great staff.

Deeply disappointed, as booked for lunch with a friend for birthday, but was closed when we turned up, although we had a confirmation of booking. I had a missed phone call off them morning of, but when I returned call, I just had an automated message. I confirmed again our booking,I received no voicemail or Email to say they were doing maintenance. When I finally got through late afternoon having spent the time else where in the area, I asked them would they give us the lunch time prices that evening for their lack of communication. They said, NO, deeply dissatisfied and disappointed as we spent many an enjoyable nights there.Shocking treatment. Unfortunately, lost us and our Sardinian daughter in law as customers. We shall patronised other Italian restaurants from now on.

Another fabulous meal at Amici’s. Good, swift service and delicious home cooked food. Great value too. The spaghetti with courgette and tomato sauce was one of the tastiest meals I’ve had out for a long time- well done. Staff are always friendly and welcoming too.

Last minute booking at 21:15...they were happy to accommodate us and were super helpful and friendly. I have to say...all 4 meals were excellent...will be back...Thank you!
