American Pizza Slice in Liverpool

It is a nice concept. The pizzas taste good too! Pretty affordable for quick midwork lunches.

A great pizza place unfortunately when I called up they had me on the phone for 5 straight minutes just getting my address and asking for useless things like my name. Definitely not ordering from here again because of that maybe when you get new staff who actually know how to answer the phone properrly

Food was burnt to a crisp , and cold , u could not even eat it , it just tasted like charcoal

Thought the pizza was fresh, instead they reheated it. Tasted like it came out of a bin. Sloppy and greasy!

Absolutely dreadful place for my health. Inconsiderately they have designed the place in a way which makes it impossible for me to walk past without ordering the goat's cheese and roasted pepper pizza, or the buffalo chicken. 10/10, will end me before my time.

Yummy Every time I went the city centre, I took one piece.

I thought I'd grab a slice for lunch whilst visiting the office. I got the margherita as they don't have halal food. It was ok. Nothing special and in comparison to the likes of Sbarro, it wasn't as good as theirs, in my opinion. However, it was ok. It's a small place so they offer a few bar stools to eat on the premises, otherwise it's take away.

Every face is very delicious. I like the thin batter type. Eat it while it's hot. It's good. You can also order it home. It's not expensive. The shop is at the end of the road.

I stop here everytime I am in Liverpool. The one thing about the UK, it has very few pizza places that just offer a walk-in slice of pizza. These guys do it well. It is very reasonably priced, and good pie.

A really great pizza, decent selection and simply delicious. Just take it with you and eat around the corner on the square, with music playing from the neighboring bars. Absolute recommendation!

The pizza was tasty and reasonably priced. I would have preferred a crispier base, but the concept and choices were great. I would recommend it.

Something a bit different. Nice to try some different styles of pizza all together. Down as a 4 as I didn't like the Detroit style pizza and my boyfriend thought the different styles kinda tasted a bit too similar to each other and needed to standout more.

Went to try the Chicago Deep Dish and Detroit Style Pizzas cos they're hard to get anywhere else and they were both excellent. The tomato sauce tasted sweet and fresh, great quality overall and I would definitely go back for Chicago and Detroit again.

American Pizza slice is my go to for takeaway pizza and has the added bonus of being able to pop in and pick up slice when you're in the area. It has a great selection of slices to choose from and has even branched out into Chicago Deep Dish pizza which is well worth a try. They specialise in 18 inch pizzas which you can opt for either 8 individual slices (mixed pizza) or a pizza of just one topping choice. They also have some great meal deals. 18 inch pizza, two garlic bread with cheese and 2 drinks for £25 which compared with other high end pizza places is a steal. Would highly recommended the takeaway or popping in for a slice. There is seating in the store but definitely for a quick bite and out.

Alarms going off from 11pm each night. Owners clearly don’t care about the public enough to get the alarms fixed. Think about people living nearby…

Owners incapable of fixing burglar alarm which goes off at half 11 every night, disturbing everyone who lives on the same street.

Spectacular pizza. The whole family loved the Detroit style Spinach, garlic, goat's cheese pizza. Other pizzas also delicious. Prices are great too. This have to despise pizza to go to the Subway next door. I need one of these in Sale.

Delicious! The pizza was really tasty and even though we had to wait because we ordered whole pizzas on a busy Saturday evening but that was to be expected. Service was fantastic by the two girls who handled everything perfectly whilst always smiling and giving their best!

They used to gluten free but I was recently told by a member of staff that they don't do it any more as it was too much effort. Nice.

I put off writing this review for a long time because I wanted to try this kind of pizza in New York first. Overall, the pizza wasn't horrible, but it wasn't authentic New York-style pizza. Neither the crust nor the pizza dough made me think of it. Besides that, it was a pretty tasty, but pricey bite.

I’ve been looking everywhere in the UK for a NY style pizza…..and sadly I can’t say this is it! Butttt it is still a really nice pizza. Will defo be back.

We visited Liverpool for the day from Birmingham & American Slice was our chosen spot for lunch. The pizza was so tasty we got a big pizza for the journey home. It's a shame there aren't more American Pizza Slices in other towns as this was the best pizza we've ever eaten.

Best pizza I’ve had in my life in the uk I’m not even messing. Was stuck for something to have for lunch and suggested to father in law. Gave it a go and it was magic!! That crispy base is unreal. Thankyou!!

Pizza tastes lovely, but I've been disappointed on more than one occasion. Walked 20 minutes to get here last night for detroit pizza and arrived 15 minutes before closing, only to be told they would only sell us the detroit pizza if we bought a whole one so it was worth them cooking one. We were still buying pizza for the 3 kids with us but still wouldn't put a detroit pizza in for us, even though we would buy 2 slices but didn't want a full pizza. 15 minutes would be plenty of time to sell the other 2 slices and you wouldn't have lost out on too much profit due to us buying 3 slices of pizza anyway. Ended up not buying any extras, just the 3 pieces of pizza for the kids. Parents missed out on food but the kids thought the pizza was lovely. Wont be going out of the way to go here in the future as the kids wanted didn't even want pizza before we got here so could have gotten their food from anywhere, so we'll probably stick to McDonalds moving forward.

Amazing food, best garlic bread and cheese we have ever had. Pizza slice was perfect. Friendly staff and atmosphere. We will be back when we visit Liverpool again.

As an American women I couldn’t be happier with this pizza, I was visiting Liverpool for a day as I live in Leeds and I found this Pizza place omg!!! I wanted to cry honestly absolutely banging pizza!!! Literally tasted like American pizza de-li-cious!!!! it brought me to my childhood when we used to eat Pasadena California Pizza Best pizza I have ever tried in the UK I wish I could live in Liverpool or they had branches everywhere 10/10

Very, very busy takeaway pizza outlet. Not much choice left by 10:00 pm on the Friday night of my visit, but what was available was very tasty. Staff managed to maintain a modicum of efficiency, despite the chaotic queuing system. I paid £5 for two slices of pizza, which I didn't consider excessive.

One of the best Pepperoni Pizzas I've ever tried. Love it! Service is quick too, it's surprisingly cheap! On my weekend visit to Liverpool I ended up coming here 5+ times to grab a slice.

Really lives up to its name. I’m a New Yorker living in Liverpool. I really cannot say enough good things about the pizza they serve here. I will generally place my order in New York style (plain slice - so a New-York-style cheese slice), which the staff get a kick out of, and the quality is pretty damn good! They even do Chicago- and Detroit-style right. I remember thinking a pizza was a thick marinara, but nope it was a properly structured Chicago-style sausage pizza. It’s rare to see that outside of Chicago even save for Pizzeria Uni stateside, and even they don’t do it right. One thing they definitely have over us back in NYC is we don’t have halloumi pizza (halloumi is just expensive at £8/250g stateside), but I wish we did!!!

Staff was great, they were playing emo punk music in the restaurant and that already makes it a top tier place for me. I got their 18" Buffalo Chicken New York Pizza for 20 pounds and it was absolutely fantastic. However, the best bang for your buck are their meal deals so look at those first
