Just ate here and all I can say is WOW. Excellent food and atmosphere

I recently visited Akshaya and was blown away by the authentic Sri Lankan flavors! The Masala Dosa was rich and aromatic, with perfectly balanced spices. The Lamb Chops was also delicious, with tender meat and fresh herbs. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The decor was beautifully done, with vibrant colors and traditional Sri Lankan touches. Overall, I'd highly recommend Akshaya to anyone looking for a taste of Sri Lanka in Liverpool. The food is delicious, and the service is top-notch!

A date that will remain in our memories forever. It was a farewell dinner without us knowing that it would be the last day we would be together.

Firstly the restaurant is beautiful and very well maintained and clean, even the restroom looks amazing. The food was delicious and served very quickly. I highly recommend the fried fish starter and the star of the show for me personally was the tandoori broccoli which was so delicious. Mains were yummy. The staff were absolutely fantastic and extremely attentive and quick. Special thanks to Prakurthi who waited on us, she is a credit to your company. Side note the parking is very limited and we struggled to find a spot but they have parking on side road next to the Lidl provided it is after the permit times.

It was such a pleasure to be served by Prakurthi, she is such a pleasant and lovely person, it made the experience so much more enjoyable. I hope we are served by her again when we next visit. The food is very high quality. If you have never eaten here before, we recommend the mutton rolls, dosa and idly. Make sure you get some mouth freshener on the way out - if you've never had it before, it's not what you think; basically it isn't a mint, but it is unusual and tasty!

Ohmy... this Restaurant has to be the most beautiful place I have eaten in. The ambience and luxury of The Akshaya is a beautiful place to dine. The food was divine to taste. Each mouthful was exquisite on the palet. Our server H. Harsh was so polite and helpful and our food was served in no time at all. My wife ordered the Dosa meal, and it was perfectly prepared, generously portioned, and beautifully presented. The kids’ meals were equally delightful. Our children, who usually opt for burgers or other typical fast food when dining out, genuinely enjoyed the rice and chicken. It was an amazing experience to visit Akshaya - Picture Drome. If you want to try authentic Indian/Sri Lankan food you must visit here. One of the best restaurants in Liverpool. Eating there for the first time and it was brilliant. The seating experience was beautiful surrounded under a cherry blossom ceiling. After our experience we would like to visit again in future, with friends and family, the food is of a high quality and great taste. We highly recommend. Amazing atmosphere and friendly staff, especially Das, he is too good. Thank you, Das!

The food was great and the service matched the food the actual restaurant has been decorated absolutely beautifully and has an amazing fish tank we go for our tea on a Saturday evening I definitely recommend it if you enjoy Asian food.

I love this place and been going to it since it opened but I don’t like there new menu the old menu was outstanding can I ask why it’s changed I’ve got to be honest the old menu was better and packed with rich flavour where now it’s just ok I’m gutted 🥲

One of the worst biriyani in Liverpool,I tried Chicken and lamb biriyani both of them were bad.

Curry leaves, cinnamon sticks and other whole spices in the dishes make it clear someone in the kitchen is serious about producing individual flavours, and they have been very successful! Really impressed. We had a lamb dish with tamarind (I think) that was very tasty but the standout item was the King Fish Malabar, great depth of carefully chosen flavour. A very short Uber ride from the centre of Liverpool where we were drinking, very worthwhile.

Prakurthi our waitress was unbelievable. Shared the whole experience with us, Made us feel so welcome and loved every interaction we shared. Food was top. Perfectly recommended. The house beer I was recommended was unbelievable! Just want to say thank you !!!! Your staff are a reflection of the business An then Akshaya staff!!! 5* rating all so friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back !!!

I live locally and it is one of my favourite places to eat out or order from in the area. The food is delicious! I especially love the Paneer Butter Masala. There is such variety on the menu, so there is definitely something there for everyone. The decor and vibe is really nice as well, and the staff are attentive. We were served by Harsha and he was very polite, checking to see if everything was okay throughout the meal. The only downside to our visit this time was the waiting time. It felt like it took a while to order drinks and then receive them. It also took some time to get the bill at the end of the meal, even though we asked twice. But overall the food was lovely, and we will definitely go back again!

I called Akshaya to order a takeaway today at 1:05pm and the guy who picked up was extremely rude. I asked how long it would be and he said 30 minutes and I requested him if he could do it faster but he said he just opened so I asked him to give me a minute I’ll just check with my partner and he was really rude and kept asking if I need to place an order or not. I told him again just give me a minute, I’ll check that with my partner but he just cut the call on my face. This isn’t the first time I’ve faced it. He’s been rude before for literally no reason. Then I called back and another girl picked up and I told her how rude the guy was and that I’ll be putting in a complaint. I love the food there but the service has been deteriorating with time. It’s really sad!
