Great atmosphere and top staff looking after you.

The rudest staff I have came across in a long time! The bald guy on the entrance was SO smug and condescending telling us he had gave away our table as we were late. We were 5 minutes after the 15 min window so it's fair if you couldn't hold it longer, but to be spoke in such a was was laughable. We went to a much more accommodating restaurant around the corner called fourty four which was lovely with great staff - don't waste your time with two taps, I would say visit fourty four instead.

Me and my husband had a great time. The service was brilliant. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and gave great suggestions on what to have. The food was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed!

Fantastic food. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Relaxed atmosphere with heated outdoor area to sit and eat. Very pleasant.

I was underwhelmed by everything but the prices. It took a long time to be served and is far too expensive for a tapas bar.

Excellent. Had visited 2 Taps years ago and loved it. Went back recently and it was fantastic again. Service excellent. Food was delicious. Will definitely go back next time we're in Belfast.

The best find on my 3 day trip to Belfast. Working on belfast for few days so i was a solo traveller. The atmosphere is best bar non, did not feel uncomfortable or rushed to eat. The service is unreal and the food was even better. Definitely my to go when i return again for work

Food was nice but menu limited compared to what it used to be.

The chef has not seen Spanish cuisine even in the Chanel discovery. Patatas bravas with curry, padrón peppers sautéed (raw) instead of fried... and so on a whole list of dishes from guiris for guiris. We saw the paella being served to some victims and we imagined that it was worse than the ones they sell frozen in the main square of Madrid. An unrepeatable experience (I wouldn't even dream of repeating it) if you have ever eaten Spanish food.

Great food and service, but shame you couldn't process our Belfast City Centre gift card and your restaurant is listed on their website as one of the places that accepts the card. We were advised to come back in a month or two when the issue might be sorted but after unexpectedly having to foot the entire bill ourselves sadly we can't afford to.

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food 🤤 amazing climate

It was our first time in Belfast over holiday and our dinner here was quite lovely making it one of the highlights of our trip! The service was amazing and we enjoyed our waiter (we don’t remember his name but he’s from Lithuania), he was so kind and funny as well helpful in giving suggestions for tapas and drinks as well had such a great chat with him. The fairy princess cocktail had a barbiecore presentation and tasted how it looks— light but sweet and exciting on the tastebuds. We ordered quite a few tapas but the grilled octopus was exquisite and melted right on the tongue with a well balanced sauce. The prawn dish had a great aroma and flavor profile of chili, garlic, and a nice mellow broth. Mushroom tapa dish is to die for, I would go back to Belfast just to have this dish again, it was a great texture and perfect flavor with right amount of garnish. The goat cheese salad was light and fresh creaminess with the nicely burnt crust was a lovely end to our dinner. Well worth the value the dinner and the extravagant service has made 2taps a place I would fly back to vist again.

Dinner for two. Lovely flavours and well cooked food. Portions were small. Overall great service, friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

An amazing dining experience! I have visited 2taps a few times in the past months and the quality of food and service cannot be beaten. The staff are so attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and up for having a laugh. Which brings a really relaxing atmosphere to the restaurant environment. The new menu that was recently launched has kept ordering a lot simpler. The menu has been fine tuned to provide the best quality ingredients and dishes. Really recommend the squid and portobello mushroom! I had to order extras as they were so good! Cannot wait to return!

Felt the service and arrival to the attention to details from the staff really made the night. The food and drinks were just excellent , can’t wait to go back again, some of the best cocktails in Belfast and all the small plates were full of flavour. Highly recommended

Previous menu was brilliant with Lots of options for different diets. Lots of veggie options too. The new menu is very disappointing. The food was very over priced for such small portions and very below average quality. Such a shame. The staff are still lovely though and the outdoor seating is still great. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend anymore,

A real disappointment. Mediocre at best. Nothing cooked fresh, and tasted like that. Food showed no skill apart from the ability to defrost pre-prepaired food. Charcuterie board is a joke, £24 for a plate of thick cut sourdough, with 3 slices of meat each and a few small cubes of cheese. Would not recommend.

First time ever visiting 2 Taps and wow what an experience!! Attended on Wednesday 7th February for the Wine and Tapas event, a 6 course set menu featuring gastronomic delights such as paella, goats cheese custard, razor clams chilli and cod and scallop mosaic. Each course is served with wine, expertly presented and described by Robert Neill, whose company are the importers. Each wine has a unique, fascinating and compelling story- the Vina Gravonia Blanco 2013, which has an extremely small allocation of only a few cases per year in to 2 Taps, so we were very fortunate to be able to sample it. The light and aromatic Santiago Ruiz 2022 from the rainy Galicia region featured a map on the label, which the eldest daughter designed to help people find the winery. The Vina Cubillo Criaza 2014 produced in a town called Haro, which grew from a population of just a few thousand to over 100k in 5 years as a result of devastating vine disease in French vineyards. The food was also amazing and credit must go to new chef Jonny ( and the rest of the chef team) who took time to describe each of the courses. Finally, a huge thanks to Jarron, Joanne and table staff for the absolutely amazing customer service- you will go a long way to find 2 more dedicated, enthusistic and passionate hosts- you actually feel part of the 2 Taps family before you leave. These events are few and far between so keep a look out for the next one and book early to avoid disappointment. Thanks guys for an unforgettable experience!!!!

Very good service, from the waiters to the chefs...the best spanish food and service in belfast nice experience

The food here was so bland and boring, I was sitting eating it thinking of all the money I had wasted. This was my first paella but it was more of a bowl of sludgy rice that had somehow turned orange, not through any flavourful additions. The music was blasting. We asked the staff to turn it down and they were very accommodating, but either they didn’t turn it down or they turned it back up, so we were shouting to hear each other at our sit down dinner.

As Spanish, I can not consider this as Spanish food. Too far away from Spanish taste and quality and everything.

Overpriced for the size of the portions! Could order 4 paella for one person and pay 48 quid for it.

My wife and I are just back from 2 taps absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Service food and atmosphere 1st class 5star all round. Thankyou 2 taps

Way over priced, mediocre food.

Formerly one of our favourite restaurants, sadly the new menu has changed that. Meagre paella portion which was sticky and a now very limited vegetarian selection. Previously the menu was wonderful for veggies with good choice. Now it is limited to a small selection. The tempura broccoli was the highlight of a forgettable meal. There are now better options in Belfast for Tapas, something I never thought I would say. Very disappointed.

New menu was a little shorter but everything we tasted was delicious octopus was a exceptional

The service was very good, however that’s where all the positives end. For the size of the portions, it is not worth the price. I understand the concept of tapas but it was really too small, many of the dishes taking up less than half the plate, and the cost of them being too expensive. Additionally, the flavor was lacking- I have visited before with the old menu, the paella was huge and tasted great, now it is very small and bland. I won’t be returning.

Food was basic. Not worth the money. One of our guests ordered catch of the day or fish of the day. There was a break down in translation with the waiter. So it was wrong which was fine. But then waiter came over to table to confront our guest which I found totally unprofessional and unacceptable. So this was my second time here after 5 years didn't like it first time though I'd give it a second chance. Never be back really disappointed.

Booked a table for the same evening and seated inside. They have a large outside terrace and was well heated, no coat needed in December. Excellent tapas choices with lots of veggie options. Service was friendly and efficient. A lovely atmosphere to enjoy a meal

Food on point as usual, festive cocktails were amazing, very busy but we weren't rushed at all.

The food was good, the staff however appeared displeased. Appeared quite bothered and annoyed at things we said and hurried us out of the place. We were charged 10% for service despite it being poor and us only being a party of 2 (the menu stated only parties of 5+ would be charged this)

We booked 2Taps for our Christmas Party back in September for 29 people and the service, food, drinks and atmosphere was nothing short of spectacular on the night! The team were blown away by how much food they got to choose from, every dish was super tasty! From booking until we left on the night, Joanne, Jarron and the team couldn’t do enough for us. For a large group, everyone’s taste buds were catered for & my team were thrilled!! Thank you - from all of us at Bannatyne Health Club & Spa!

Very frantic with a Santa in which meant lots of children running round - staff were fantastic and very welcoming but the food was very bland nothing "nice" very mediocre and we tried multiple dishes which was surprising

I have been here twice now and it never disappoints. We booked for dinner on Friday night and all they had left was outside and I was a little worried because of the weather but it was fab. It is so sheltered and there is big heaters you wouldn’t even think you are outside! The food was so fresh and everything tasted beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Belfast especially for groups of people it is such a nice way to try loads of different meals. 10/10

Very tasty food, menu was almost *too* extensive!

Really lovely staff, couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful however the food was a bit bland and the cocktails were disappointing.

Visited here for dinner with friends and overall was very pleased with the experience. Staff were friendly as always and the food was all perfect with the exception of the paella - the rice was a little hard but the meat and veg in the dish were cooked perfectly. Cocktails were great too! We’ve all been here a number of times before and of course will be back. Would defiantly recommend.

Fabulous food ambience and value for money ...what's not to like 😬

Great experience but not quite the tapas that you get in Spain Barcelona But I was very happy as in my opinion my 3 different tapas that I ordered was a big starter portion so that was good for my self most of the time the tapas portion are very small

Went here for dinner as me and my boyfriend love tapas style dining, and it did not disappoint! The small plates were all delicious, and we had a substantial serving of seafood paella to share. Annie was looking after us all evening and she was so lovely, an absolute credit to the restaurant. We will be back!

Really enjoyed the food and cocktails and there’s a really good (but not excessive) range on the menu. It’s the staff that prompted me to leave a review - what a fantastic bunch of folks. Everyone we spoke to was so friendly and just the right amount of attentive. Speedy service without being rushed, clearly know the menu well. Just a lovely vibe all round.

Went here with my wife, they were very quick to serve us, drinks first then food, drinks menu was decent, food menu was very good and the quality of food was excellent, there was music playing the night we went this was very good too

Love coming here. Came here before Paul smith last night. Guy on front of house was just lovely and all the staff inside were lovely as per usual. Food was delicious wanted to eat so much more than I did. Will be back soon for a bigger feed.

We couldn't find a table for food anywhere in Belfast due to a local concert and the rugby. Staff at 2 Taps offered us a take away service and seats outside under the canopy. It was chilly so they ensured the heaters were moved to keep us warm. The food was speedy, fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was great-live music, banter from the bar staff and excellent service. A Friend left her purse on the bar, full of money. The staff phoned us once it was found, so it could be returned. Five star experience

Travelled in from Canada for a few days, this restaurant was highly recommend and didn’t disappoint. We had a great time, Staff was very attentive, great environment and food was excellent. We will be back when we travel back to Ireland! Also we treated a few different drinks and all were great!

We were lucky enough that the weather allowed us to sit outside with the patio heaters and enjoy the atmosphere with a live singer! The salmon dish I had was super fresh and in-fact the salmon could have literally hopped from the sea and straight into the pan it tasted that good! The house white wine went down well and the customer service was extremely friendly which was certainly appreciated. Only negatives are that some of the dishes (despite being tapas) were very small for their price tag…. and ironically, the apple crumble dessert had the opposite problem as it was massive and even too big and dry to finish. One dollop of ice cream on a dessert that big resulted in a Gandhi flip-flop joke across the table…. I mean come on, surely one extra scoop of ice cream wouldn’t eat into the restaurant’s profits that much and would have transformed the dish! In summary, would we return? Yes, on the assurance we could sit outside and soak up the atmosphere!

Second visit with teens this time. Honestly a great lunchtime experience. Staff - all of them - cool and relaxed. Sun was shining - canopy off - jug of sangria and a few extra treats - just brilliant! Went over and beyond with the service:) Thank you guys. Made her b-day!! See you again. X

Staff are very friendly, plenty of options to order. The goats cheese was a favourite.

Visited here for a family get together. Seated outside tables it wasn’t cold as plenty of heaters to keep you warm. It was very busier so service seemed slower than normal. Portion sizes had definitely reduced the steak used to be easily Split between two as part of many different dishes not any more and the peppered sauce which was outstanding was lacking compared to previous visits. The food was good but definitely with the cost of living pinching people they have tried to reduce portions. Cocktails and sangria are still outstanding. I wouldn’t be out off going back would just know for next time to order that extra dish so as not to leave hungry

A very nice place to share a good time in company with music in the background, the food is fresh and delicious, the service was excellent, there were two of us and we had a whole plate left over, we ordered 3 each.

Good vibe and in a great spot in belfast. Right beside cathedral quarter. Lots of attentive staff. Food was grand, goats cheese was our favourite.

This is a very large restaurant, with a large menu. It’s a good atmosphere but it’s not authentic Spanish tapas. Neon signs with signs to Marbella as decor. The food is made en masse and the quality is poor. We were disappointed as we love our food and came here on a recommendation. E.g sourdough wasn’t fresh, chorizo was Tesco quality, the croquettes were not edible we left them, the beef was tough. We purchased a bottle of Pinot noir (2022) it wasn’t very drinkable . Belfast has so many restaurants and we were gutted we went here, wish I had checked.

Visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon. No booking but we’re told could sit using the barrel tables. Minimum order of 2 tapas per person with drinks. Had seen mixed reviews but we needed to eat and the sun was shining on their outdoor terrace. Wish we had listened to the reviews. Prawns piri we’re tasteless. Tortilla turned up dry and burnt so we sent back to. Be told they had run out! Was offered an alternative by the manager but by then we had tried the other two dishes which along with the Prawns were tasteless. Glad that we hadn’t ordered are usual amount of dishes. We have visited Tapas restaurants all around Uk and Spain and this was up there with the most disappointing in terms of food. If you want better food go to Edo……when in Belfast.

Great service. Good food. Good atmosphere. Would recommend.

We all enjoyed our food and the servers were friendly. On a busy sunday night we had to flag them down for things like more drinks or a dessert menu etc, but the drinks and dishes were then brought out prompty (although it probably helped that we were sat right infront of the kitchen!) Unfortunately there was quite a few things missing from the menu and sometimes they weren't very good at substituting something else, so had to miss a complete dish becaue they missed 1 minor ingredient for example. I wasn't impressed by the sangria, but the cocktails were unusual and tasty. It took me a while to work out how to use the taps in the bathrooms, with the foot pedals! :-P We were a table of 4 and all ate extremely well, sharing around 10 tapas plus a giant paella, with a couple of drinks each for £55 each including tip.

Lively atmosphere, food was very good and service was pleasant. Felt a bit like a chain establishment, but delivered well.

Excellent place for an authentic Tapas experience. This place has a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and top class food. The Rose Sangria was a firm favourite. There was a better than expected range of vegetarian / vegan dishes. We were able to walk in without booking but I would definitely advise booking ahead during busier times.

We dined here on a Thursday night, and had such a wonderful experience. We loved everything from the Blue Moon on tap, the amazing padron peppers, the wonderful sour dough to the beautiful paella, not to mention the enthusiastic and super friendly staff and waiter. This was by a mile the best dining experience we have had in Belfast and in fact anywhere in a while. Authentic Spanish cuisine in an amazing venue. Such amazing value as well. 100% recommended

Had tapas here and was so impressed with the service and the flavour of the food..great portion sizes too.The pork belly was delicious, as were the chicken wings and mushrooms.Plenty of GF choices.Great relaxed atmosphere.Will be returning for sure.

The best tapas I've had in a long time.

I have been to 2taps a few times before and they were all great experiences but I had to come on here to write a review because last night was so fabulous!! I want to thank the staff at 2taps for making my birthday experience such a wonderful one; every single person was so lovely and so attentive; the service was top tier and honestly I can’t thank them enough for making it such a fab experience. I didn’t get any food pics but I can say that I enjoyed everything I got and the sangria was excellent! All in all, I can safely say everyone that came to the dinner had a wonderful time and we will definitely be returning! I hope you guys got to enjoy the cake more than I enjoyed my limoncello shot Lolol Thank you!!

Had an amazing evening in 2 Taps. Our host, Mac, seated us promptly and was not only hilarious but so welcoming. Our server, Hannah, was incredible; so friendly and helpful and clearly fantastic at their job. We were made to feel so at home. The food was amazing and so fast; the drinks were spot on, special cocktail included! Massive thanks to the guys for making our night so special. Will definitely be back!

Waiting staff were lovely. Food is overpriced, luke warm, and definitely not authentic tasting. Small portions for sizeable cost.

Everything was amazing, the only gripe was just a little too much ice in the drinks, they should put just a wee bit less.

Most of the food was delicious but one dish was cooler than it should have been. I found the restaurant a bit cold but the staff and service was excellent and couldn't be faulted. A bit expensive.

Very disappointed to discover the false advertising of this establishment. This is a restaurant, not a bar. You cannot have a glass of wine without ordering food. Calling it a wine bar is annoyingly misleading.

Always love coming here, big fan of the tapas and 3 is usually enough. I think the main thing bringing it down is the price. £6.70 for a pint of madri is a bit much even for cathedral quarter prices. Staff were brilliant though and a main reason I’d be back.

Nettes Lokal im wuseligen Kathedralenviertel. Unser Essen (Tagesempfehlung) war sehr lecker. Allerdings hätte es etwas mehr sein dürfen. Die Gestaltung mit den Plastikblumen sollte nochmal überdacht werden. Aufmerksame Servicekräfte.

Have heard lots of people talking about this place, went last month, food was okay, vegetarian meals were a bit expensive for what you got and they didn't have a disabled toilet so it was a bit of a squash to trying to get in with a wheelchair.

Great food and service. Loved that the Front of House Manager, who I had no interaction with other than at arrival, called me by first name when I asked for the bill.

Went for lunch. Only two other tables had occupants. Service good. Food poor and served lukewarm. No non alcoholic beer. Place was dark and music loud.

Amazingly friendly and attentive staff, the decor is really nice which all makes for a great atmosphere. Myself and my partner ordered 7 tapas between us, the quality of the dishes were varied. The calamari, and the goats cheese were both amazing but I was a little disappointed in the meatballs, and my partner noted that there were a couple other dishes that were average. Both of our desserts were lovely. We really enjoyed our alcohol free cocktails and were pleased to see so many alcohol free drink options. We are definitely coming back to try the paella and would highly recommend this restaurant to others!

The service was friendly, from all staff. The food was poor: uninteresting dishes, served Luke-warm. The wine was expensive and mediocre. No alcohol-free beer or white wine. The devour was miserable; shabby and outdated.
