The Brewery Inn Cosheston

Lamphey, Pembrokeshire
19/06/2018: We dropped in to this pub/restaurant on a Sunday Lunchtime without a reservation, intending to just stop for a drink if they were busy. Although the restaurant was full, we were offered a table either in the lounge or the garden, but told that there would be a short wait for food. (20 minutes). We got a drink and settled down, then were told that a table had been vacated in the restaurant if we wanted it. The actaul restaurant area is small, but well laid out. The menu is specific to the service on the day, using local produce where possible. We had roast lamb, and roast beef (plus starters and desert) which was excellent. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, we didn't feel either rushed or ignored. And to top it off, they served a very good Welsh cider on tap (being from Somerset we know a bit about cider, and many Welsh ones aren't that great, but this one was). We had a brief chat with one of the owners on the way out, and he was also friendly/helpful. Basically, we will be back soon, but with a reservation (we were just lucky on the day as a couple who came in just after us couldn't be accomodated).
18/06/2018: We visited whilst on holiday in Pembrokeshire last week and after trying last year but not being organised enough to book we went for lunch. We were seated and order taken promptly. The food was brilliant, service was excellent and the staff were very chatty and friendly especially the man behind the bar. We had our 8 week old daughter with us and the staff engaged with us and made us feel very welcome. We have experienced places previously who frown upon newborns as they can be unsettled but not here. We will be returning frequently when we holiday in west wales again. Thank you

The stowaway coffee co.

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
15/06/2018: My friends and I are on a road trip through the U.K. and have found so many lovey coffee spots to try out. Stowaway is our favorite place so far! Nicest staff which gave us great coffee, food, and service, and lots of good advise on the area.
12/06/2018: Saw this place whilst walking around and it looked really cool - it's literally a cool cave built into the wall but it's actually quite spacious inside.

Fire & ice

Narberth, Pembrokeshire
06/06/2018: We had some time to kill in Narberth so thought we get an ice cream. My partner had a chocolate chip and honeycomb ice cream, my daughter had strawberry and cream and I had grapefruit gin sorbet. All were lovely. They also sell specialist alcohol...
04/06/2018: Went to Fire & Ice to buy some local beer. The product range is really good and they also offer other stuff like rum, whiskey, cider, etc. and also great ice cream. Very friendly and helpful staff. One of my favorite shops.

The Shed Bistro

Llanrhian, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
18/06/2018: We have been to this bistro many times since it opened over 15 years ago. The food has always been of a high standard. Do not be mislead by its name, fish and chips is not the only option. Try the specials such as hake, halibut etc.
18/06/2018: I visited The Shed again, with family, for an evening meal. It was positively heaving, but we quickly were seated at our table. Thank goodness we booked!

The Nags Head

Cilgerran, Pembrokeshire
06/06/2018: Booked accommodation at fairly short notice. The room was right over the top of the bar and above the main entrance. Very little noise heard and even though it was a busy Friday night I heard nothing after 11pm. Slept like a log
02/06/2018: We stopped on an 'oh - that looks nice' whim. Even though we were very close to the stated end of lunchtime serving hours they have happily served us. I have never reviewed anything before but it's so lovely and the food so good here I am writing as I sit in the pub - we haven't even eaten dessert yet. Lovely people and environment, outstanding food.

Ginhaus deli

Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire
19/06/2018: I've been around the block a few times, as a European traveller. This has been, without a moments hesitation, the FINEST breakfast I have EVER experienced. In every sense. In the whole of my life. Sublime. Taste, texture, ingredients, presentation. Name your category. This hits...
08/06/2018: Now this is my type of arty joint. Love it. Food fab. Decor great. It’s exciting on the eye. And if you like gin, you could be here all week 😬

Gianni's Ice Cream

St. David's, Pembrokeshire
20/06/2018: When in St Davids we always have to stop and choose an ice cream. The trouble begins when you have to choose a flavour!! So many to choose from sometimes up to 30!! Salted caramel is my favourite at the moment. All made on the premises.
19/06/2018: Great tasting ,excellent quality ice cream and spoilt for choice.Seating outside is great whether it's sunny or not.

The Canteen

Newport, Pembrokeshire
21/06/2018: Went for a family meal out, very impressed. Great service, nice place and obviously very popular. P.s Get the burger!
21/06/2018: Great menu offering something for everyone! The staff were friendly and tentative throughout. It was my Husbands birthday and the staff found it no bother to decorate his dessert with the bits we bought and joined in the singing! We love this place, lovely to support youngsters who are running a business by supporting other local producers! Keep up the excellent work team :) We will be back :)
