The Brewery Inn Cosheston

Lamphey, Pembrokeshire
11/11/2018: A massive thank you to John,Steven and all the staff at the brewery Inn cosheston.
07/11/2018: We booked for my daughters 24th birthday, never visited before but will definitely be returning. Hospitality was second to none, the food was exceptional, presented beautifully and portions were generous. The staff were warm, welcoming and brilliant. Got to say the local cloudy cider was awesome too! A big thanks to all the staff that made my daughters birthday a really good one. I highly recommend a visit to this establishment and I'm going to be returning!

Blas at Fronlas

Newport, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
02/10/2018: Visited this cafe twice during our recent holiday to the area. A really lovely place to sit and watch the Newport village life go by. Very welcoming staff. Great coffee and cake, wish we'd have chance to sample some of the great looking food, will make a point of it next time we visit.
01/10/2018: We called in on a Sunday afternoon with friends and our dogs having tried to get food at all the pubs in the town which either had stopped serving food or didn’t like dogs.

Wavecrest Cafe

Pembroke: St. Mary North, Pembrokeshire
30/10/2018: I really do think this is a special place. The food is always lovely whatever time of day you visit. Jade and her team offer excellent service and a lovely dinning experience. This is the only place we go for Sunday lunch, which is only available through the winter season. It is always hot, fresh and plenty of it and just like you would cook at home. Oh, and the key lime pie is to die for.
26/10/2018: Open Friday and Saturday off season.Sometimes does Sunday lunch but you need to book. The sausage and mash was perfect,so was the cheese and leek tart. Accessible toilet. All on one level. You can hire beach wheelchairs. The cakes are superb.

The stowaway coffee co.

29/10/2018: A really cosy little cafe. Very welcoming and even have games for kids to keep them occupied. Reasonably priced.

Gianni's Ice Cream

St. David's, Pembrokeshire
19/10/2018: Wonderful.variety of excellent ice cream - try the Celtic crunch and double fudge. Do not miss this opportunity if in St David's.
11/10/2018: We had ice creams everyday at the bench, and they are amazing and you are spoilt for choice its nice to have home made ice cream and you can so taste the difference. Our dogs also loved the doggy ice creams too and would make sure we stopped there for a pit stop. Well done it was lovely to see warm friendly staff.

Y Polyn

Llanddarog, Carmarthenshire, 30-45£
06/11/2018: We have been to the y Polyn many times as a couple and with business clients and I've probably left reviews in the past. But on this occasion I did want to praise them for being so open to catering for those with young families as well. Having been on a number of occasions before and not seen children, there I did not know how the reception would be. However they had the most wonderful steak on the menu and I had not babysitter so we invaded with our three children in tow.
03/11/2018: Well worth a visit quality food and good friendly service. I loved the complimentary bottles of water and home made bread.

The Shed Bistro

Llanrhian, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
06/11/2018: Dropped in purely by chance. Excellent Fish and chips and lovely chowder. Friendly and welcoming. Fantastic pla(i)'ve.
05/11/2018: Wow what wonderful fish and chips the fish was so fresh white and flaky. The chips were also excellent. We sat outside as we had a dog with us and the sitting area we very well maintained. The size of the meals were very good. I would recommend you book if you want to eat here as they are always very busy.

Blas Restaurant at Twr y Felin

St. David's, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
06/11/2018: Very nice dinner--well prepared and served by friendly staff. Book your reservation in the larger room--
26/10/2018: Had two beautiful evening meals here. I would describe it as a gastronomic experience. Every morsel of food was inventive, tasty and artfully presented. Each and every member of staff were exceptional, friendly, professional and discreet. Would definately come again.

The Butchers Arms

Llanddarog, Carmarthenshire
03/11/2018: Can’t review properly unless had dined there. Saw menu, very expensive, too expensive to take young fussy eaters there. Maybe one day if the place s taken over by new management, it will be nice to try it out.
23/10/2018: Warm welcome from the moment you step into this cozy pub. Lovely and friendly service from the owner and staff. Food was very good; would have been great to see lasagne or curry on the evening menu as options also, as these would have been ideal for my own personal taste. However, what I had was very nice. My parents thoroughly enjoyed their food also. Would most certainly recommend a visit here.

Sue's pantry saundersfoot

Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire
17/10/2018: Living nearby we often stroll into Saundersfoot out of season and drool over the enticing range of wonderful cakes displayed in the window. You will be hard pushed to choose your favourite !
10/10/2018: We had googled this cake shop before visiting Saundersfoot and were not disappointed as one of my friends is gluten free and had a good choice of cake for a change. The lady serving says they bake one day of the week just gluten free baked to save any cross contamination what s great idea. All 4 of us enjoyed our cakes and went back to bring home Welsh cakes and Bara brith. Great place to go and get a cake to eat by the sea but don’t get a coffee from the ice cream kiosk close by that was dreadful! Thank you to the ladies at Sue’s Pantry x

The Canteen

Newport, Pembrokeshire
04/11/2018: Fantastic, always popular and very welcoming, would highly recommend, a takeaway service is available as well.
02/11/2018: A small but really lovely cafe. We visited twice, for breakfast and dinner. Coffee and breakfast rolls were excellent as were the Spaniard burger and ‘Land of my fathers’ pizza. Definitely worth booking for dinner as it gets very busy. They also do takeaway pizza.

The Nags Head

Cilgerran, Pembrokeshire
29/10/2018: First time at this restaurant. Wasn’t disappointed. Warm welcome, very friendly and the food was amazing. Was very busy night and would book in advance to avoid disappointment. Highly recommended and will most differently come back again.
20/10/2018: Visited for first time tonight after passing on several occasions. Welcome warm and friendly, in a busy rural pub/restaurant. Landlord and landlady welcoming and chatty. Food good and wide range of dishes with locally sourced ingredients. Would recommend highly but ring first particularly at weekends!

Narberth, Pembrokeshire
12/11/2018: One of the grim problems in Narberth nowadays is the regular closure of the cash machines in the town. NatWest Bank has gone and with it the ATM; HSBC closed and ditto; the Post Office has moved down the High Street but doesn't seem to have taken the useful ATM with it; Barclays remains in town but bizarrely doesn't have an external cash machine. Luckily the excellent SPAR supermarket has just installed an internal cash machine (free to use, from 6.30am), so good on them There's also one at CK's supermarket.
06/11/2018: We have eaten here a few times in the past and and loved it. My husband and I are big fans of tapas and they have some delicious dishes available. My brother in law bought a couple of cases of their wine just a few weeks ago, the selection is great. Very disappointed to have been looking forward to our visit today only to be told rather rudely that dogs are not allowed. It is out of season, nowhere is busy and our dog is very quiet and well behaved. Fortunately we received a very warm welcome at the Welsh Collection across the street and had a delicious lunch there. Such a shame as a visitor to the area because this means we will never go back.

The Mill

Llanrhian, Pembrokeshire
26/10/2018: We've become regulars whenever we're down. Great way to start the day, freshly cooked breakfasts in relaxing atmosphere
