The Stone Crab

Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire
08/01/2021: Absolutely loved Marks goat curry tonight he’s made for everyone - lift our spirits in lockdown Have eaten in the restaurant before and it’s at a perfect setting, food is incredible and always fresh and service is lovely too highly recommend a visit especially if you love seafood and fish so yummy. Lilly makes a gorgeous cocktail too
31/12/2020: A work colleague recommended The Stone Crab when I mentioned in passing that I had an upcoming holiday to Tenby. I tried to book ahead for a dinner reservation but they were fully booked - a testament to how sought after their lovely food is! We were lucky to get a table for lunch and having then spent an evening stuck down a rabbit-hole of TripAdvisor reviews, our lunch at The Stone Crab became a very eagerly anticipated meal. I'm so happy to say it did not disappoint.I ordered the seafood pasta, and my partner had the paella. Both our pasta & paella were absolutely packed with seafood, and the flavour was awesome. I wasn't sure what to expect with ordering seafood pasta; after all you can find it on most menus in all sorts of restaurants. However The Stone Crab's seafood pasta was far superior to any seafood pasta dish I have eaten, and probably will eat! A lady on a neighbouring table had the most incredible seafood platter you could imagine, and I wish now that I had ordered the same! Not because our meals weren't fantastic but just because that platter looked unreal. Something to try next time we happen to be in the area.I highly recommend paying The Stone Crab a visit, and to book in advance! We saw many people pop in for a table but were sadly turned away at the door.

Jeera Indian Restaurant & Takeaway

Fishguard North West, Pembrokeshire
05/04/2021: So so so good. Great portion sizes and lovely food.
01/04/2021: What I really like about Zeera is the staff. They have a really welcoming vibe and they talk to you like real people, not a Hollywood actor on a script. I enjoy the food but if I have to be honest, I wouldn't know authentic Indian recipes from ones that are not. But to me it doesn't matter as my taste buds like what I've tried here.

Tides Kitchen and Wine Bar

Newport, Pembrokeshire
27/12/2020: We visited Tides during December 2020. They offer a wide selection of food to takeaway, or eat in and have a wonderful fresh fish counter. On this occasion, we sampled the sausage rolls, brownies and espresso cake (WOW). It all tasted delicious and it was clear that only the best ingredients had been used. We will return. Thank you!
24/12/2020: Tides pies are scrumptiously delicious, they are the most tastiest pies we’ve ever had. We had a lovely Xmas Eve experience collecting our take away brunch, and the staff kept the experience festive by offering mulled wine and mince pies, chocolate brownies for me. Mustn’t forget their homemade sausage rolls, which were devoured within 5 minutes of arriving home. We can’t wait for things to get back to normal and enjoy eating in the restaurant. Happy Xmas to you all xxxx

The Brewery Inn Cosheston

Lamphey, Pembrokeshire
01/12/2020: Lovely dinner. Great friendly service. Dog friendly. Beautiful ambience. Well played. Will visit again.
11/11/2020: Well worth the wait!Over the last couple of years we've attempted to book in here but always been fully booked. Now we're living in the area we had more time so booked last month to assure a table for mams 75th birthday today. We were not disappointed - lovely menu - only difficulty was which lovely dish to order! The staff and management were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. We ordered moules in the most magnificent sauce with side salad and fries (gluten free), half rack of ribs - oh so tasty (my dad usually struggles appetite wise but he certainly did justice to his meal!)Mam (birthday girl) had a delicious steak with blue cheese sauce - awesome!Desserts were equally as delicious.Raspberry frangipani (gluten free) and a taste explosion in the form of a gin, elderflower and blackberry jelly with sorbet! We had a lovely crisp Savignon blanc and a good selection of lagers and beers for my dad.Would definitely recommend and will certainly return!

The Ferry Inn

St. Dogmaels, Pembrokeshire
03/11/2020: We were on holiday staying at Moylgrove and decided to visit The Ferry Inn. We had to park quite away from the restaurant as they were running to capacity by the look of it, hence the number of vehicles. The welcome and Covid procedures were spot on and we opted for an inside table as there was a slight chill in the air.The staff were particularly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was well presented and wholesome. For 4 adults and 2 children the bill totaled £147.00 to include all drinks food and wine.recommended, certainly.
28/10/2020: Knifes and forks dirty, takes very long just for a drink the arrive. Bad service. Avoid and go to another pub.
