Caffe Vista

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
05/08/2020: I come here quite a lot, it is one of my favourite cafes in Pembrokeshire. The staff are super friendly, the coffee is the best, the food is delicious and the views are stunning. My sister and I recently visited and we sat on the balcony, the view looks over the harbour. My sister had the ciabatta which I would definitely recommend. Looking forward to visiting again!

The Castle Inn

Newport, Pembrokeshire
21/06/2020: Throughout lockdown, they’ve provided us with many takeaways, all of which have been super yummy, fresh and of great quality. Out of ALL the meals ( ), our favourites include the lamb burger, the halloumi burger and the battered halloumi! All were fantastic and their adaption to takeaway’s has been incredible, the food tasted just as good as it would sat down in the restaurant! The chips are the best we’ve had! Also the Sunday roast we ordered was great, they’re making it far too easy to have a Sunday roast these days! Awareness to the current circumstances was great, and we felt very safe picking up the food. Thank you

Excellent cheerful service with a good choice on the menu, not your usual Sunday roast meats. Could not fault any course, thank you chef. It is always a treat to come here. The pizzas were made fresh and the meat was to die for.Impasto have a range of homemade desserts, I can recommend the Biscoff cheesecake. The gelato looked lovely but I’ll save that for next time. Blas Restaurant at Twr y Felin

St. David's, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
02/03/2020: (Traducido por Google) Personal amable y servicial. Edificio encantador con habitaciones limpias y acogedoras. Gran restaurante con comida deliciosa. (Original) Friendly and helpful staff. Lovly building with clean and cozy rooms. Great restaurant with delicious food.
(Original) We had the pleasure of staying in the Tyddewi suite at Twr Y Felin on Valentines Day just gone. We knew of the hotel’s reputation and it did not disappoint. We were blown away by everything, from the welcoming, generous and hard working staff, the lovely food and drink to the quality of the suite itself. The suite was unique, of exceptional quality and came with added personal touches, including a hand written welcoming card, local chocolates and a chilled bottle of processco for the occasion. This sense of locality continued at the restaurant. In the evening we enjoyed a seven course taster menu which included ingredients sourced from the local area - it is clear the hotel is proud of its Welsh heritage and works hard to ensure that it showcases the best Wales has to offer. The service, presentation and standard of food was of an excellent standard. Finally, the technology in the hotel was brilliant (something we look for) and remained uninterrupted despite the bad weather. We cannot recommend Twr Y Felin enough, we have been talking about the stay since we left. We are already planning our return and intend on bringing friends with us next time - the hotel really is a destination in its own right.

The Salt Cellar

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
15/03/2020: You know when a place has got it right when you get bread and water without asking. I could have stayed there just eating the tasty warm bread. I had the soufflé, followed by the beef which fell apart without the need of a knife. A tasty pineapple and coconut cream dessert followed. The small sample of pork and black pudding that my wife allowed me has made me want to try that on my next visit. Warm, friendly service, a very enjoyable evening.
10/03/2020: we had a wonderful meal at the Salt Cellar again. The taste of the food is always excellent and so much better than The Grove. It tasted all the better as it was paid for by Mrs P as a Christmas present, when she bought me a voucher from the Salt Cellar on the condition i took her with me( who else would i even think of taking)I had the pork and Mrs P had the souffle- both so tasty.I then had the beef and Mrs P the Fish - i cannot recommend the dishes enough. Then finished with the Orange pollenta cake and the chocolate desert, all because Mrs P could not decide which one she wanted .Wonderful friendly service,i cannot recommend enough or a special meal, also the wine is reasonably priced and the seaweed gin is amazingThanks

St. Ishmael's, Pembrokeshire
31/07/2020: We stopped by on a fairly misty lunchtime, so views were limited. Service was incredibly friendly and quick, very good social distancing measures and cleaning measures in place. My Americano was excellent. My wife had a lovely pot of loose leaf tea, kids enjoyed huge milkshakes and proper Welsh ice cream. Chips were perfect. Other items looked good value also - local beers were £4 for example. Thoroughly recommended.
18/07/2020: Lovely people, currently offering a limited range, including drinks, cakes, and the best chips I have ever eaten.Staff gave us a lovely warm welcome, we’re very friendly, and are taking great care to keep everyone safe. Will visit again if I am ever in the area.

The Golden Lion

Newport, Pembrokeshire
21/06/2020: Their new and improvised takeaway menu adds some extra jazz to the food options available in Newport! We ordered a beef burrito and the southern fried chicken, both were tasty. The portion of sweet corn was slightly disappointing and the crunchy slaw that comes with the chicken ended up being left over noodle vegetables, but the chicken and fries were great. Safe pick up service also! Thank you
19/03/2020: Came for lunch as we’ve been here before and had their fab cheese ploughman’s washed down with the excellently well kept beer.As usual the food and atmosphere were great.Debbie who was front of house was extremely friendly and had and excellent cleaning regime to give customers peace of mind given the current climate. This is the second tome we’ve been here now and would heartily recommend coming here for a few hours escape.Golden Lion keep up the hard work your customers are extremely grateful for not only the ongoing great for and drink but also the additional precautions taken to ensure we can still enjoy your establishment.

Pointz Castle Ice Cream

Solva, Pembrokeshire
26/07/2020: Our very favourite place to have ice cream. I think I have a new favourite flavour every time I go there, which is almost every day of our holiday. Lovely surroundings to eat in also and superbly clean.
21/02/2020: This is a must visit . Tye ice cream is stunning and reasonably priced . There are also cakes and other snacks. At the back of the shop is a brilliant okay area and tractors .... never too busy ...all the fun and lovely service

Calon Cafe and Interiors

Carmarthen Town South, Carmarthenshire
15/03/2020: Pethau Da is the best restaurant in the whole of South West Wales. The food is always stand-out amazing. Local produce, cooked to perfection. The staff are always so lovely and friendly, and service is always quick and helpful. The drinks selection is great, with lots of local suppliers and an every-changing selection of cocktails. The venue is beautiful, and perfect for anything from a casual brunch to a romantic evening meal. The offers are fantastic and incredible value for money. And to top it off they're dog friendly too! You won't find a better place to eat in South West Wales!
08/03/2020: Delicious, good quality food; reasonably priced; and fantastic service. We were a party of 18 plus a dog and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were friendly and very accommodating. Plus it’s great to find an eatery that welcomes dogs.
