The Loaf Coffee & Sandwich Bar

13/10/2020: Stayed in the Travelodge next door ,but had breakfast here very good service and very friendly , food was excellent and well presented.

Y Sgwar

Porthmadog-Tremadog, Gwynedd
06/12/2020: We had a fantastic time, staff were incredible and professional with the new circumstances. The food was brilliant, the garlic mash was next level! We really enjoyed our evening at Y Sgwâr
04/11/2020: We visit Porthmadog at least once a year and always eat here on at least once. This year we visited just before the lockdown and had two meals here Sunday lunch and an evening meal.On both occasions the food and service were absolutely outstanding The food was beautifully cooked and the staff as pleasant and helpful as ever.Would not have Sunday lunch anywhere else !Thank you and stay safe all at Y Sgwar

Gogarth, Conwy
21/12/2020: Had been wanting to visit for a while. Met family for a meal, squeezing into a small booth but nice atmosphere and very busy place. Menu is made up of small dishes so you need to order 2/3 per person either to share across the group or what you want to eat. It seems an expensive way to eat and to be honest (it may be just me) I was of course being polite and not diving in and eating all the food to the point that I didn't feel satisfied at all yet we had spent a considerable amount. The service wasn't brilliant, due to them being busy but had to chase the waiters several times to chase food we had ordered which hadn't arrived and to order pudding. Great place for a date, not your run of the mill pub food but be aware its quite pricy.
03/12/2020: Popped here for a couple of drinks during our stay in Llandudno, have been to the area many times and didn’t know this bar existed until I found it on trip advisor prior to our stay so decided to find it and give it a try ! It was a lovely decorated bar, drinks nicely served by the waiter and the food menu looked good choice and variety, but didn’t try so can’t comment on the food. Would definitely recommend and return.

No. 46 Coffee Shop

Criccieth, Gwynedd
13/11/2020: We visited the cafe on a v rare day out walking. We work long hours and like most people, have journeyed through some very difficult challenges over the past year. The cafe service was exemplary on all counts and ministered to us deeply through professional, obliging staff who took precious time to chat with us, and delicious home-made food. The cafe has a family friendly, welcoming ambience which invites natural friendship amongst fellow customers with whom we enjoyed valuable conversation. We came away feeling very grateful, enormously blessed and planning to return asap
12/10/2020: Due to popularity we had to wait about 15 mins to get a seat but it was well worth it.Comfortable surroundings, cheerful staff and excellent homemade food. Quiche was delicious, pannini highly recommended. And don't leave without trying their cakes. And my wife says the best coffee she's had in a long time.

Y Gwynedd Inn & Restaurant

Llanberis, Gwynedd
29/11/2020: First time dining out since the first initial lockdown. The staff are always welcoming and helpful, we felt comfortable and at ease with the social distancing measures in place.. the food was great as always, I had the minted lamb burger, and my friend had the gammon, food coma is an understatement. Diolch Neil a’r staff. Welani chi eto cyn dolig mashwr x
28/11/2020: Came to the Gwynedd for the Burger night, safe to say it did not disappoint!! Excellent food, brilliant service, and very Covid friendly, will definitely be returning ! Thank you 😌

The Ship Inn

Morfa Nefyn, Gwynedd
29/11/2020: Always come here when down this way and they are doing the Sunday roast again, belly pork and Turkey excellent and tasty sides complimented everything. Will be back soon hopefully
21/11/2020: Had heard great things about this place. We were nearby so stopped for an early dinner in one of the cabins but were turned away because we had our 2 year old daughter with us. Apparently that was against the rules. How petty! She was hardly going to bother anyone in one of the cabins...

Signatures Restaurant

Conwy, Conwy, 30-45£
22/11/2020: Just had Sunday dinner in this restaurant The food was outstanding and the service was really good can't wait to go back keep up the good work Guy's and girls
25/10/2020: Signatures at Home. Delicious, excellent value for money. Well done to the team for stepping up and feeding us during lockdown.

15/12/2020: We visit The White Eagle throughout the year and have never had an awful meal or visit thank you Arry,Pete, Karen and Ade the family from Conwy

The Three Eagles

Llangollen, Denbighshire
03/09/2020: I went for a meal and couple drinks with my girlfriend and the both the food and service was brilliant. The ambience and atmosphere is top class too, you can go there for a either a relaxed meal or for a few ‘rowdy’ drinks too.
02/09/2020: Staff really nice can't be faulted. Really clean and relaxing atmosphere. Food amazing.. had fish butty and it was so fresh tasting. Wine was fabulous. Highly recommend.

Tremfan Hall

Llanbedrog, Gwynedd
06/12/2020: Diolch yn fawr Tremfan Hall! I couldn't have wished for a nicer venue or nicer food on my birthday. We will definitely return.
13/10/2020: Don't go here unless you're hungry and ready to appreciate great food. Covid restricted, (only 21 covers) so difficult to get a table, but well worth it if you can! Starters include a kind of smoked fish pie, and elegantly presented goats cheese and speciality beetroot, the chef here clearly has an eye for colour and presentation. We had cod loin with a seed crust and slow cooked beef (with chips - lovely in the very rich gravy!) but the puds, especially the chocolate bombe provided the showmanship. It melted under the toffee sauce as it was poured! The strawberry cheesecake was good too. Altogether it was about as god as it gets right now, especially in Wales on the beautiful Lleyn peninsular.

Proper Gander

Tywyn, Gwynedd, >100£
25/10/2020: Nice decor, wonderful food. The lamb was incredible. It's a small place but clear social distancing in place. All felt very safe!
19/10/2020: Another excellent visit. Menu is good as is the service. Food very well prepared. Look forward to our next visit.

Sea Shanty Cafe

Trearddur, Isle of Anglesey
02/12/2020: Had the marmalade ice cream, it was the very best, even in January! Not much more to say but Tripadvisor says I have to do 100 characters!
28/10/2020: This is one of our favourite restaurants in Trearddur bay, so make sure you book in advance as it is always very busy. This is a family friendly restaurant which has a wide range of dishes including the specials menu. The deserts are fab if you have room for one and the ice cream parlour is just excellent for all the family.

Harry's Bistro

Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey
25/10/2020: We have just had the most amazing Sunday Roast delivered right to our door. Top quality food, tasty and beautifully cooked. Can highly recommend. Will be ordering again next week!!
15/10/2020: We ate here twice in the last week and thoroughly enjoyed both visits. The only criticism was that my wife had the lemon posset and fresh raspberries as a dessert and the raspberries were poached. A slight disappointment, otherwise everything was as shown on the menu, the prices are reasonable, considering that everyone else seems to have yanked up prices to cover COVID-19 looses. So go and enjoy. The staff are great and attentive. Well worth a visit.

Home Cookin' Restaurant

Gogarth, Conwy, <20£
17/12/2020: Having been underwnelmed by our lunch at a much mentioned bistro in Rhos on Sea the day before we hoped that the reviews on Tripadvisor were acurate. They were! This cafe is bright and cheerful and so are the staff. There was plenty of choice on the menu. We both had the cod and salmon fishcake to start. Delicious. A lamb roast dinner and a chiicken curry were our mains. Both were large, beautifully cooked and very tasty. We couldn't fit in a dessert but finished with a good cup of tea.We thoroughly reccomend this cafe for its great home cookin'
13/12/2020: Awesome food and awesome service. Felt welcome by the friendly staff and the food was delicious. During these difficult times , I believe it is more important to make customers still feel normal in the hospitality sector ! And Home Cooking Llandudno does exactly that !!! Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Sea Breeze

Aberdovey, Gwynedd
05/12/2020: We have been here twice in the last 2 weeks. On each occasion the covid regulations were in order so we felt very secure. The staff all wore masks and were friendly and helpful when we were ordering our meals we asked if we could take the menu's to show our friends, we were told yes as they are thrown away after each customer. On the first occasion I had the scallops which was a special starter. My main course was the Battered Fish and Chips. On the second occasion I had the Haddock Chowder followed by the Roast Salmon with Seafood Linguine. On both occasions the food was excellent and very tasty. Unfortunately due to the Welsh Government's decision we are not able to go for our bookings this Saturday.
15/11/2020: On a short post lockdown break in Aberdyfi and had a most wonderful experience at Seabreeze. Atmosphere is wonderful and decor and layout was to our taste. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I had the beef cheeks and they were so beautifully cooked and the sauce just wonderful. My wife's fish was perfect. Despite the quality of fayre the portions were big. Glad we didn't have starters! All done in a totally Covid compliant way. Cant fault it.
