The Tamarind Thai Restaurant

Colwyn, Conwy
20/04/2019: the reception showed by the staff was exeptional, the food was also second to none. They could not have been kinder and pleased to serve us. We went for a set meal and overwelmed by the quality and quantity provided. A great place to eat, and will recommend to all our friends.
16/04/2019: Call last thing without a booking ,not a problem, staff friendly and accommodating.

The Coconut Kitchen

14/08/2018: I had wanted I try this place since I saw that it had been reopened as The coconut cove on social media. My boyfriend and I went for a romantic dinner.

Thai Harbwr

Porthmadog West, Gwynedd, >100£
04/11/2017: Visited this restaurant, whilst staying with friends, for the second time this year. The food and service was excellent. Would highly recommend.
02/11/2017: We arrived without a booking and at first we thought the staff a little rude and almost walked out. How long I was there are obviously very busy and very quickly managed to clean some tables away. Staff was so attentive to my 6 year old and the rest of the family. We all had different things and I cannot describe how amazing everything was. I'm only writing this review as they have now closed the weekend after we visited. But I think it's still needs to be said this is one of the best places I've ever been.

Aroy Dee

Garth,Menai (Bangor), Gwynedd
31/05/2019: For one of the only places in Bangor to serve Thai food, it serves a nice variety of good quality Thai dishes. The food arrived in good time, especially considering that the restaurant was nearly full.
24/05/2019: This is an authentic, family run, Thai Noodle Bar. The menu is not as extensive as some Thai Restaurants, it is a noodle bar, but you get what's on the tin. The décor is clean and plain, as you would expect in a noodle bar, with several Thai carvings displayed on the wall, reminding us that we are in a Thai restaurant. Service is informal and friendly. I started my meal with a spicy Thai seafood soup which was delicious. The rest of the party shared a mixed platter plus a portion of chicken wings. My main coarse was a Thai Green Curry with coconut rice. It was nicely presented and full of spicy flavours. Those used to the full on heat of a vindaloo would find it mild, but it is a Green Curry, not a Vindaloo, favouring a balance of flavour over spoon melting heat. To sum up, a nice relaxing evening was had by all.

Typhoon Thai

Rhyl West, Denbighshire
31/10/2015: The food here was always good, unfortunately the location (Wellington Road, between lights and High Street) was never going to be ideal for a restaurant or takeaway as there is no easy parking near by, especially in the summer.
01/03/2015: Had a brilliant takeaway meal despite the distance it had to travel - wasn't spoiled at all! I'm hooked on Thai food now and looking forward to trying out their restaurant. A gem in Rhyl.
