06/03/2019: Brilliant food, stunning decor and fantastic service. Great value for money we will be back! Highly recommend...
22/01/2018: I often use this venue for business meetings. Convenient, lots of parking, great coffee and friendly service!

Lanes of London

1 oferta
West End, City of London,Westminster, 20-30£
20/02/2020: We came for the Botanical Afternoon Tea and had a great experience. Our server, Vivian was very attentive and knowledgeable! He introduced some of his favourites from the selection of Jing tea. The sandwiches were delicious. The homemade strawberry and elderflower jam was perfect for the scones! The desserts on the top tier were inventive and rich.
20/02/2020: Got excellent service from Vivian at lunch today. He was attentive, professional (but not stiff) and a joy all around. He is an asset to the establishment. The meal itself was good. This is a nice quiet spot for a business lunch in great location.

Porthmeor Cafe

St Ives North, Cornwall,Isles of Scilly
19/02/2020: Amazing, and I mean amazing location. Heated booths, overlooking the beach and out to sea. Lovely friendly attentive staff, delicious food at a decent price. Highly highly recommend.
06/02/2020: Porthmeor Beach Cafe a great place "Perfect to watch the sunset in St. Ives."

North Coast and Cumbraes, North Ayrshire, 20-30£
17/02/2020: Despite having a delicious Panko Lemon Sole fish supper at Fish Works (the best!!) I also had to try Nardini's as my first visit to Largs Unfortunately there was a function onbut being a weekend evening thats understandable. I went for Cherry Mania and Chocolate, cherry and almond. I love cherry ice cream!! Alot more tantalising flavours to choose from. The service is quick, the ice cream delicious will return in the summer!
15/02/2020: Me and my husband braved the bad weather from Glasgow today to visit your restaurant for lunch and it was amazing we both had fish n chips and ice cream x we are never disappointed xxx 😘

Sutherland House

Southwold and Reydon, Waveney
22/02/2020: We had stayed here previously on a B&B; basis but not used the restaurant so we booked a birthday celebration dinner for five on 21 February. From start to finish it was a great experience. The room is comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff, especially the owner, were welcoming and attentive. Service was prompt and efficient without being rushed. Best of all though the food was simply superb, comparable to many “prestigious” venues we have been to. The wine was equally impressive and good value (try the Suffolk produced rose). Overall outstanding. We will definitely return.
21/02/2020: My wife and daughter stayed here recently and we can certainly recommend, friendly staff, exceptionally clean and handy for the centre of town. Unfortunately we missed out on eat dinner there, when we return we shall definitely reserve a table in the restaurant.

The Barking Dog Restaurant Belfast

Botanic, Belfast, <20£
21/02/2020: Food is always amazing and love the atmosphere. Particularly love the pork bites. Service is good too.
17/02/2020: Was recommended by a friend to dine here next time I was up in the big smoke, great recommendation, called in for lunch, was greeted at the door and quickly seated, place was nice and warm, loved the decor, staff were very attentive but most importantly the food was amazing, compliments to the Chef, loved the beef shin burger, best iv ever had, wife had the fish of the day, seabass, she loved it, had the kids with me, one had sausages the other had sirloin steak, I cut it up for her and could feel it was so tender, had to steal a bit and it was delicious. Finished off with 2 baileys coffee's and an espresso creme brulee, which was fantastic, kids went for vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce, what's not to like. Over all a great lunch and will definitely be back, thanks to all the staff for a great start to the day!

The Restaurant at The Pig

Brockenhurst and Forest South East, New Forest
22/02/2020: This place has great pretensions and is a pleasant environment with good service. Sadly we found the food to be expensive and inadequate and we came away still hungry. Two of us had the garden root vegetable pie which sounds and looked good. Reality suggested otherwise as the wafer thin pie-crust top had a 2 inch gap below it and at the bottom of the dish was a watery one inch deep liquid containing a few bits of turnip and butternut squash { since when has butternut squash been a root vegetable]. This "pie" was served with "green vegetables" which turned out to be 3 small pieces of chewy undercooked chard.
13/02/2020: The Pig is a beautifully presented hotel throughout, from the bar and lounge areas through to a business conference room and of course the bedrooms.

TJ's Restaurant

Roundham-with-Hyde, Torbay
15/02/2020: I struggled to find somewhere for four of us for a meal on the night after Valentines Day. TJs gave us an early table and that suited us well.
12/02/2020: If you live in or visit Paignton, this place is a must! Excellent quality cuisine in s fabulous setting overlooking Paignton Harbour

Grange, Southwark, 45-60£
20/02/2020: First time I am visiting Shard and I was really happy with Miguel and Madalina service. You make my evening very special, thank you guys ❤️
20/02/2020: I had an amazing time in GŎNG bar in Shard, great cocktails, delicious food and the best atmosphere ever, the most important of course is the staff there, very professional and friendly, the supervisor Madalina was super star, she gave us the best experience ever

Stanley, Kensington and Chelsea
21/02/2020: Sadly, having much looked forward to it, we were somewhat disappointed with our experience yesterday. It is not that the food was terrible, but it was just rather mediocre and there are plenty of restaurants at this price level providing truly exceptional food and service. We had the tasting menu, and I realise it could, of course, just have been an off day. Apetisers, langoustine, mushroom and trout courses were perfectly acceptable. However we were confused by the venison chips which turned out to be a single, rather heavy venison croquette (I couldn't eat mine), the palate freshener was a frozen solid lump which tasted of washing up liquid and the deserts were unsophisticated and heavy . Highlight was the roasted venison, although unfortunately served on cold plates so the dauphinois was just off lukewarm in temperature. It also seemed rather odd to have venison twice and so closely together on a tasting menu. Wine was excellent, service well meaning but somewhat haphazard. I really applaud the ethos of Rabbit so sorry to be a dampener against the other glowing reviews but I can only tell it how we found it.
17/02/2020: We visited The Rabbit for lunch and had a fabulous meal in a great atmosphere. The staff were subtle yet available when required with good tips and hints on what to have. The Bloody Mary was a good way to start and the UK champagne from the own farm, had great depth and good fizz. A great lunch in a fabulous location.

The Pig on the Beach

Castle, Purbeck
21/02/2020: Stopped in on the of chance of some food for 2 adults and a 5 year old based on good reviews to be told there wasnt a table but we could eat in the snug which was fine with us, given menus and ordered drinks to be told that there was room in the resturant but we had to clear by 8 which we said we were fine where we were if it caused issues, to then be told 5 minutes later we couldnt eat in the snug or the resturant as both were reserved by guests which we decided to pay up and leave ealse where to be hit by a £23 bill for 1 beer, an kids orange juice and 1 glass of wine... terrible experiance, real shame. All could have been saved if they just said no room sorry in the first place and would have been £23 better off.
19/02/2020: old fashioned cosy bar and restaurant , high prices for food and drink not justified , seating uncomfortable and watch out for the service charge on top. probably better in summer, but everywhere is! nice views outside.

Cove Restaurant & Bar

Falmouth Boslowick, Cornwall,Isles of Scilly
09/02/2020: I write a glowing tribute to Arty and Annette for their consistent, professional and friendly attentions notto mentionabsolutelyexcellent, innovative food.My first meeting with Arty was when my late husband andIhad a new car break down outside the Cove.It was a Saturday afternoon and he allowed us to use his landline to summon help whilst he provided coffee and carried on cleaning one of his ovens!Since then I and my family have consistently returned on our annual/biannual visits for delicious culinary experiences. So many friends have followed our recommendations and have always expressed delight.Arty even shared his lemon posset recipe with my niece so her fiancé,a then director of the Savoy, could give it to the Head Chef to recreate for their wedding breakfast.(It was good but not a patch on the one I’ve regularly enjoyed at the Cove!)I and my family wish Arty and Annette a well deserved “break”,I simply can’t believe that they will retire at their young ages.Someone, somewhere in the future has a treat in store when and if they do decide to reintroduce their particular skills to the general public again.Holidays in Our beloved Cornwall will never be quite the same again.hanks for the memories!!
29/01/2020: With Arty and Annette at the helm this restaurant in my opinion is the best place for food and ambience. Customers are warmly welcomed and attention to detail throughout service is second to none. The food is always so delicious .

The Bank

Bude South, Cornwall,Isles of Scilly, 20-30£
22/02/2020: You will probably need to book here as it gets busy even during the week but you can see why. The food was excellent and considering tapas portions are usually small, that is not the situation here. We were full to bursting when we left despite only having three portions each and will definitely be back.
22/02/2020: Not been for along time but l did enjoy the experience staff were excellent there was a good choice on the menu a lot seemed to be deep fried. The bread basket was lovely and the food nice and hot only minor criticism if you are serving chips try and make them crispy and not limp and soggy saying that it was still a lovely meal and l will be returning soon

El Toro

Wheatley, Doncaster
31/01/2020: Lovely staff and tasty food - special mention to the chicken skewers!!! Plenty to choose from including lots of gluten free options! Will definitely return
11/01/2020: There was a great choice on the menu and I have to say for all you can eat it was very good. The only two negatives were nearly £4 for a pint of coke and the service was a little slow at times. Not sure if that was to slow our eating down but I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I would eat here again. Good veggie choice too.

Trent Bridge, Rushcliffe
22/02/2020: Terrible service General Manger doesn’t know how to run the restaurant! Having a go at me for complaining about the service being bad, slamming plates on the table waiting 30 mins for drinks!!! Escabeche sort it out! You lot don’t know how to run sod all! I’d have sacked your GM a long time back! One guest more really makes a difference? ‍♂️
20/02/2020: A great place to eat at lunchtime, Atmosphere is always relaxed and never rushed. The Halloumi fritters are excellent as are the Teritso Sausage. Wine and coffee were also excellent.
