17/02/2019: Such an amazing place, we are regular customers with Marianas. The food is stunning, there is no where else we would go for Italian. The staff are a joy to be around and always have good chat. Each dish is served with love and the restaurant has such a homely feel to it. There hasn't been one dish that we haven't enjoyed.

Delhi Darbar

Bishopbriggs South, East Dunbartonshire
05/03/2019: First visit so after looking at reviews was advised to book, booked a table as advised by restaurant for 6.45. Wow must be the busiest restaurant I’ve seen in a long time. The queue was right into the toilets with people waiting for pre booked tables, waited for 15 mins and decided to get a drink while waiting oh no the bar was bedlam not with people but dirty glasses hence we left, heard the food is good but don’t be greedy over booking tables it puts people off
17/02/2019: As always food, service and value for money cannot be beaten unfortunately unless this restaurant is full I always find it colg Sitting with my jacket didn't create the ambience I think it deserve So please please turn up the heating

15/03/2019: Dinner with local friends who know the place. Really impressed! Great crispy chilli squid and hot and tasty jungle curry. Very friendly staff and good service too. Lucky Kirkintilloch to have a great local Thai restaurant.
09/03/2019: High quality food served quickly with a smile and at reasonable price. I highly recommend eating at the Thai Cafe Kirkintilloch.

Jessie Biscuit

Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire
04/03/2019: Although smallish and usually busy the food is freshly made and tasty! It has nice tasteful decor. It is facing out into Milngavie village and handy for the shops!
30/12/2018: Generally this is a stop off for coffee and cake. Very nice staff, the coffee is excellent and it’s very much a home baking feel. Nice atmosphere. Recommended.

Ghiloni's Cafe

Lenzie and Kirkintilloch South, East Dunbartonshire
09/03/2019: So waited nearly an hour for a sausage supper it was ridiculous stale undercooked chips tiny cardboard sausages was laughable it's well & truly went downhill no quality.
14/02/2019: This is a friendly, traditional fish and chip restaurant. As well as fish and chips there are other tasty items on the menu. The staff are lovely. There is a take-away next door.

Andiamo Milngavie

Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire, <20£
19/03/2019: Service was prompt and friendly. Very extensive and attractive menu. I had the vitello and it was delicious. Would highly recommend.
08/03/2019: Having manoeuvred into the last space in the tight car park at the front we went in for dinner. We hadn’t booked but that caused no problem and the lady who met us had us in seat in double quick time.

The Torrance Inn

Bishopbriggs North and Torrance, East Dunbartonshire
27/12/2018: Visited the Sunday before Christmas for dinner for 4 of us. The four of us opted for the Christmas menu which was great value.

Bulland's Coffee House

Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire
15/01/2019: Whilst the Teddy Bears hanging from the roof give an"odd" first impression that is fast overcome by the rustic charm and wonderful soups on offer. The Chicken Noodle is to die for. French Onion is superb. Cullen Skink just great. Try the Empire Biscuits with your coffee (all the bakery is excellent!). They should give out a prize for finishing the giant scones. All in all a great cafe and dog friendly too.................
01/01/2019: The stated vegetable l nail soup they said was vegetarian to eat it and it was evidently made with bacon stock as a lot of lentil is although I did ask for a vegetarian soup. Very disappointed. The decor can also be far too much for children with autism as there is too much stimuli for them. Knowing the fact is supposed to be family friendly. On that fact I witnessed waitresses serve lunch after touching dogs without washing hand she just touched the dog went to pick the plate up take it to people directly after touching the dog very unhygienic and won't be back also when I notified the staff it's made with ham stock she didn't wait around to take an alternative option. Un organised, shambles AVOID especially with kids with special needs.

Oregano at the Eagle Lodge

Bishopbriggs North and Torrance, East Dunbartonshire
14/03/2019: We had our Wedding reception at the Eagle Lodge Hotel 50 years ago today and returned for a bit of nostalgia. A member of staff kindly showed us the room (the Rotunda) where we had our reception.
06/03/2019: Good good, nice atmosphere pleasant staff. Good to sit and chat and you do not get rushed out the door.

The Chase Inn

Kirkintilloch East and Twechar, East Dunbartonshire
23/02/2019: Popped in for a quick drink in the newly refurbished pub, fantastic it was heaving great buzz about the place. Only problem some of the bar staff haven't had the memo about mobile phones when I was being served they were checking their phones that should not happen ( youth of today ). Draw back of that when it's really busy they can't be leaving serving to check their updates. Also why when it's still daylight are the blinds being pulled down ? The car park might not be the best thing to look at but its day time. Please don't ruin your lovely pub with this shoddy behaviour xx
26/01/2019: Went to the Elvis tribute night last night and it was brilliant. He was a crooner, a swooner and a rocker all rolled into one. Great wee family night - the Chase never disappoints👌
