14/03/2021: Thanks to Anthony and staff for making Mother's Day a very special day in uncertain times the bag doesn't do justice to a most enjoyable lunch Happy Mother's day to all the mom's out there
28/12/2020: First visit here based on previous reviews lived up to it's great reputation. We went for the 3 course Christmas Dinner which offered great choice on each course and was brilliant value. Fantastic food - Soup, Wings, Prawn Cocktail, Turkey & Ham. Staff were amazing and offered great service in spite of the appropriate restrictions. Will definitely be back !!!

Spaghetti Junction

Strand, Derry
22/02/2021: We ordered from Spaghetti Junction at the weekend. It did not disappoint. We ordered a spicy pizza I can not remember thr name...It was Delicious. We also ordered spaghetti and garlic bread. So much food but so delicious we had to finish it.... Ooh well the diet starts tomorrow..... Service was amazing and delivery was great. Highly recommend and will make it a regular take away / restaurant when it opens again
13/02/2021: After reading positive reviews, we decided to get a takeaway tonight. We ordered pizza and garlic bread and both were extremely soggy and sodden with a black sludge that resembled car oil on the bottom. Granted, the soggy feel texture might be attributed to the fact it was a takeaway and not fresh in the restaurant l, but I have not had this from anywhere else. But the thick black oil is what really bothered me, it was present on both the pizza and garlic bread, so I would imagine it’s due to what ever is present on the stone oven surface.I only managed one bite of pizza and had to spit it out due to the taste. Then I noticed the black oily residue on the plate. The cheesy garlic bread was two slices stacked in the container. After lifting the top slice, the cheese on the bottom slice was black due to being in contact with the base of the top slice, also inedible. Four people tried the food and not one of us were able to eat it. Very disappointed in the quality of the food, I’m not sure if this is a one off, I had a look through other reviews and they seem positive with no mention of a similar issue, but I personally won’t be eating from here again.

North, Strabane
05/06/2021: Just out of Oysters and oh my god what a restaurant! I am one of those people who is hard to please and have ate in all the AA restaurants but oh my god it is a credit to the owner the way he runs that place.Arrived and was greeted by the owner himself, very friendly and welcoming, absolutely beautiful restaurant, food was absolutely amazing, from starter to main to desert, unreal! Service fantastic, Naomi was serving our table and she is a great asset to the restaurant, very good at her job and very attentive.Cannot wait to go back.I wish Oysters would open a restaurant in Letterkenny!
31/12/2020: Everything about Oysters is great - Pre Christmas and due to Covid-19 restrictions, I reached out inquiring if takeaway options would be available to collect. Kevin, the owner was more than accommodating to what we wanted. On collection I was able to park in the restaurant car park and the food, which was presented beautiful in takeaway containers, was brought straight from the kitchen to be placed in my car! The timing was great! The food was just beautiful, the chips were crispy and the meat was tender and full of flavour! Definitely will be recommending to others!

Franco's Restaurant

Portora, Fermanagh, <20£
08/06/2021: Always love this restaurant. it never disappoints. The food was fabulous, so tasty. The staff is very friendly & nothing is too much trouble.
04/06/2021: We visited Francos with high hopes as I had eaten here years ago and enjoyed it and locally it has a good reputation. On arrival we were seated in a small alcove by a very brusque waitress. The staff the ignored us for the next 15 minutes. We had to look for a waiter to get us a drink. We perused the massively overpriced pizza menu (average £16 for a 3 topping pizza) and put our orders in. We had considered wine but at average, a whopping £30 a bottle decided against. The cheapest red house wine was priced at £28.50! My partner ordered a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon and was presented with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc which had to be returned. My pizza was tasty enough but when I asked for black pepper, the waiter brought a couple of sachets of pepper and salt on a saucer! I would have expected fresh ground pepper in a pizza restaurant. My partner's meal was supposed to be chicken satay. This consisted of 3 small dry pieces of chicken on skewers, a small bowl of rice and a bowl of satay sauce which looked and tasted like it was out of a jar. Poor value at over£18. Overall a very underwhelming and disappointing dining experience. Service, food and value has gone seriously downhill at this restaurant. The pricing on the wine list is comedic especially for a pizza restaurant. I'm afraid it's adios from us as customers.

The Sooty Olive Restaurant

Victoria, Derry, 20-30£
30/05/2021: Met up with some friends for a post COVID meal. I’m actually surprised how poor it was. Drinks served with no ice, very limited menu, very limited selection of 3 poor beers. Maybe premature opening guys so soon guys, but simply wasn’t good enough. Aside from that, staff were very pleasant.
26/05/2021: The food was amazing and the service was top notch . No complaints; Highly recommended one of the better spots for food and vibes in Derry. 5⭐️

Bob And Berts

Dergmoney, Omagh
30/01/2021: I have been here before and usually avoid it but today other places were shut and it was the only place for a coffee in Omagh. I ordered a cappuccino - did not ask if I wanted choc on top and when it arrived it had 1mm of froth on the top and the rest was a horrible milky weak coffee. If I wanted a latte I would have asked for it. If you're a coffee shop it's pretty basic to be able to make a range of coffees not just checking coffee and milk into a cup hoping for the best.
27/12/2020: Not much of a wait, not too full, lots of space, plenty of cleaning and hand sanitizer. Nice sweet treats, kind staff. All good

Truly Scrumptious

Belcoo and Garrison, Fermanagh
13/06/2021: The MOST DELICIOUS ice cream you'll ever eat!!!
11/04/2021: Such an amazing, underrated place! Great for a weekend treat 🍨

Grab a Kebab

Coolnagard, Omagh
19/04/2021: Best takeaway in the town! The kebab is the nicest I have ever tasted. Burgers are unbelievable! Would highly recommend to people.
18/04/2021: I was disappointed to be honest . I collected the salted chili chicken and devils chicken on chips, but I was given the chicken on what I presume was supposed to be naan bread. I wouldn’t mind if it was a kebab but the bread was terrible! I ate none of it and threw it in the bin. The bread was very doughy, soggy and stretchy, much too thick to be edible. HOWEVER. The chicken was first class and very flavoursome. I have no doubt it would have been beautiful on chips. We also ordered doner meat on chips and a curry cheesy chip and no complaints there - they both loved it!! Will probably come back again to try a proper kebab, just disappointed the order was mixed up as I did order online so it’s there in black and white, but these things happen!
