Sintons at the bridge

Poyntz Pass, Armagh
27/11/2019: Went in yesterday as the craft fare was on. Sign on door tea / coffee £1.50 and mince pies £1.50. I ordered two of each and we’re shown seats by the fire (albeit no table). Along cane waitress handing me one plate with two mince pies on my knee - I asked cld we move to a table and she pointed to Shea number of long tables with white tables (obviously extra tables set up for those dining with the craft fare). All were dirty with spilled tea and coffee. V disappointing at what shld have been a lovely afternoon. Charged over £2 for my black coffee as it wasn’t the £1.50
26/11/2019: Went to a Christmas Fair and booked lunch in advance which was lucky, as it was so busy. The food was really wonderful and the staff delightful and really helpful. Would go back.

Killylea, Armagh
28/11/2019: We didn’t even know this gastropub place existed and only found it through a friend (yes we have a friend).
25/09/2019: i just love this place, the food is absolutely divine whether it Saturday bar food to scrumptious Sunday lunch. Every time i leave i'm already looking forward to my next trip back. To top it off the prices are so reasonable. i have recommended this place to several off my friends who also share my view. Check this place out without a shadow off a doubt.

4 Vicars Restaurant

Callan Bridge, Armagh
03/04/2019: There is no restaurant here. It is now a museum and the owners haven’t had the manners to notify the public accordingly.
29/12/2018: Visited along with family members for dinner a few days before Christmas. Have eaten here numerous times over the past few years, and once again quality of food and service was exceptional. The menu is quite short and selective, but what a treat the food is when it arrives. If you enjoy good food and in the vincity of Armagh make sure and try Four Vicars.

Groucho's Cafe Bar

Rich Hill, Armagh
06/10/2019: We called in for lunch and had the rib eye dinner, it was absolutely beautiful, velvety well presented and the he meal was so tasty I didn’t know which bit to eat, it was also hot which is a must for me, we will certainly be back
07/09/2019: Appalling! ... me and my husband came for lunch one Saturday and his father came along too. I got the salted chilli chicken goujons and chips. Where do I start. The goujons were still red inside they were freezing, there was so salted chilli flavour at all Infact my mouth was very hot. Husband and his father got spuds and steak the spuds where hard and black. Steak was like glue. Wont be back

Rice's Hotel

Poyntz Pass, Armagh
03/12/2019: Lovely food and great service.. very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend this place. Lots of on street parking.
06/11/2019: Nothing disappoints about Rice’s of Poyntzpass, from the welcome to the food! Highly recommendable. Best steak I’ve tasted in a long, long time. I went with my 94 year old father and the staff were so accommodating.

Bagel Bean

Callan Bridge, Armagh
20/11/2019: It used to be one of my favorite places for late breakfast or lunch. Unfortunately at my last visit chicken was not at its best. Service was good and speedy. Vegetables were fresh. Prices went up since they closed restaurant at Market Street and moved all staff to old place at English Street. There is room for improvement.
07/11/2019: This is, hands down, the best place for lunch in Armagh! If you have never had a bagel bean, you need to try one. Funky atmosphere, amazing food and pleasant service!

Embers Coffee House and Grill Bar

Callan Bridge, Armagh
01/12/2019: Had a great Sunday lunch this afternoon. Turkey and Ham roast dinner. It was first class and a massive big portion. Desserts just as good. Great staff and quick service. Definitely be back again.
30/11/2019: Had delicious meal in Embers today. We choose steak burger which came with salad coleslaw chunky chips and it was perfectly cooked and thoroughly enjoyed by all . Staff soo friendly and although there was six of us Liverpudlian girl big thank you to you (sorry forget name) managed to accomodate us all fairly quickly. Service was fast and efficient. Cant recommend Embers highly enough.

Scarva Visitor Centre

Poyntz Pass, Armagh
11/09/2019: Expected to eat outside given we had a little dog with us, but no, invited in, albeit to a small conservatory just off the main restaurant, the place was busy but a very helpful young lady took time to go through the menu and suggest alternatives. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced, I was of the impression that the staff were a team and went all the way to provide a very good service. Well done team, be back soon.
05/09/2019: As regular walkers on the towpath with our two small dogs we were delighted to know there was a small room were our dogs were welcome in this lovely tea room. Lovely friendly staff and we really enjoyed our coffee and scones.

Uluru Bistro

Downs, Armagh
05/11/2019: Met up for breakfast with friends. Very tasty with locally sourced sausages and bacon and a good pot of tea.
04/11/2019: Where to start... 10 mins before drink order taken.... further 15 minutes to get drinks... 20 mins for starters to arrive and both where tasteless. My mains (chicken) arrived pink (raw) in the middle and my wife’s pasta wasn’t touched as again completely tasteless all on a not so busy Wednesday night. Front of house is failing across the board and not sure if Stevie wonder is cooking the food (or rather not cooking it). Definitely will not return as I’m no rush to poison myself. What a let down.

The Castle Tower

Callan Bridge, Armagh
25/10/2019: My mother daughter and I had a lovely lunch here sitting outside in the sun last Sunday. The staff were very obliging carrying everything out for us and bringing coffees after the main course.. couldn't have been nicer. We didnt go for the Sunday dinner as my mum prefers a light lunch and my daughter is a veggie- we had wraps and toasties which were really good. The deserts were just gorgeous too.... all in all a great spot.
12/10/2019: Food good but was not informed of charge for bringing your own wine £4 per bottle this was over the top!!

Observatory, Armagh
10/10/2019: A group of six colleagues meet for a catch up twice a year. We have returned to SHAPLA regularly as the food is always delicious and service is consistently friendly, reliable & professionally unobtrusive.
07/09/2019: Me & my wife visited Shapla recently and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Indian food.

The Moody Boar Restaurant

Demesne, Armagh, 20-30£
22/06/2018: An average meal in an average restaurant. It felt like this establishment was on a wind down. Several things on menu wasn't available and appeared like cash flow was a problem for the owners. Food wasnt terrible, but it was just average. Service was much the same, pleasant but not happy service. Hopefully it will improve in future months.
03/06/2018: We have visited here often, for a coffee or a drink, for a light meal or a feast and for one of the best wedding receptions we ever attended.
