Cafe Revive

Glenaan, Moyle, <20£
03/09/2019: Lovely, cozy place for lunch with a homey type atmosphere. Friendly service and the food was delicious.
31/08/2019: Lovely little coffee shop on the side of the road going from Dublin north. He is the baker, she is the decorator and customer service. Both are lovely and open people. Had tea as only the Irish can make it and two servings of cake, each one has its own name, so not just "cake" but a particular cake - charming! Also had an intelligent and informed conversation on Brexit and the Irish issues. Altogether a little gem.

Anzac Bistro

Glentaisie, Moyle, <20£
13/09/2019: Early evening meal after a golf event at Ballycastle GC. Friendly welcoming staff, good food and good value. International style food my chicken parmigiana was a work of art on a plate. Would definitly go back next time I’m in the town.
09/09/2019: Food just ok, absoutley no atmosphere in place....deff won't rush back....went went for a Sunday Roast but they stop serving 'sunday roasts' in afternoon, we went around 5 pm!

Tartine Restaurant at The Distillers Arms

Bushmills, Moyle, 30-45£
13/09/2019: Un restaurant sympathique dans le nord de l Irlande. Une cuisine locale a des prix raisonnables. La décoration est cosy.une adresse a recommander.
13/09/2019: Ok venue but although claims vegetarian/vegan friendly it seems a bit token as in reality there are very limited options for vegetarian or pescatarian diets

Sleepy Hollow Restaurant

Mallusk, Newtownabbey
13/09/2019: Beautiful food, great presentation and lovely staff. The goats cheese starter was lovely, also recommend the pork platter.
08/09/2019: Had dinner this evening with my husband and daughter for a celebration of my birthday. From start to finish it was a lovely experience. Hospitality excellent, food delicious, wine superb and whole evening brilliant. I would thoroughly recommend Sleep Hollow for any occasion. See you soon!

The Copper Kettle

Bushmills, Moyle
30/08/2019: We came here one morning to get a quick breakfast before we went out to explore. I'm so glad we did! The workers were very sweet and I am gluten free because I have celiac, and they were very accommodating. I had toast, eggs, and coffee and I also bought a little sweet treat for the road- all gluten free and perfect. Nice atmosphere. Felt like I was a local. Highly recommend!
27/08/2019: Unusually we had to wait for a table to become vacant such was the popularity of the Copper Kettle at breakfast. The number of people being fed indicated just how good this little cafe is and it is wonderful to see a local business doing well.

The Scenic Inn

Stranocum, Ballymoney
04/09/2019: Visited for a late lunch. Nice to find a place in the countryside not in a town. Friendly prompt service. Great food.
03/09/2019: My mother was in hospital so my sister and I were visiting Armoy where my parents live. We went daily to this restaurant for nine days!!! So we got to know the food and team. The food is of excellent standard and very generous portions. We particularly enjoyed the chilli honey chicken and the scampi was the best I have ever had! The team are very welcoming and helpful. Without a doubt our favourite restaurant! I would book a table as all week days are busy. You won't be disappointed!!

Kiwi's Brew Bar

Royal Portrush, Coleraine
06/09/2019: Great bar to watch the big games, especially Rugby. Very friendly owner, despite being an All Blacks supporter. Bar food is the best I’ve ever experienced as true bar food
04/09/2019: When I seen the sign for kiwi bar I thought straight away about New Zealand. Got inside and no sign of New Zealand anywhere, no flag or all blacks jerseys. Very disappointed. Food was good and bar staff were very friendly.

ocho tapas bistro

Royal Portrush, Coleraine
11/09/2019: The food here really speaks for itself, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, beautiful smells, wine and fine sherry and very friendly and extremely helpful staff. It offers seriously good hospitality and was an absolute pleasure to dine there.
10/09/2019: We love tapas and there are not many places in Ireland that has them. This was just a wonderful place! The early bird special was unbelievable, super food and very inexpensive. Fourteen from our tour ate there and we all loved ii!

Billy Andy's

Glynn, Larne
13/09/2019: I have now eaten here several times at lunch and each time has been great.
13/09/2019: Off the beaten track...but definitely worth the buzzing...staff helpful, busy and always polite. Will definitely visit if I am in the area again. Than you for lovely evening.

The Rinkha

Island Magee, Larne
05/06/2019: Needed some refreshments after completing the Gobbins coastal path with my family. The ice cream in the Rinka is first class and sorted us out. Well worth the visit.
28/05/2019: Staff friendly and helpful, coffee and food expensive. A small vanilla tub of ice-cream with one scoop is almost two pounds. poor value.

Mayur Indian Restaurant

Killycrot, Carrickfergus
14/09/2019: Food is always amazing! Never had a bad meal. Nicest food I’ve had since India. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
04/09/2019: Took my wife out for an evening meal great food and fantastic service and all round atmosphere Thank you

Glenaan, Moyle
12/09/2019: Called in here for lunch, and was great. Had Chowder for starters and was very tasty. Mains were Steak and Salmon and were just as good. Service and staff also excellent would thougfhrly recommend if you visit Cushendall or area.
06/09/2019: Terrific atmosphere, friendly staff, spotless. So happy to have stumbled onto this place! Highly recommend.

Ownies Bar

Killycrot, Carrickfergus, <20£
14/09/2019: The vegan choices at Ownies are amazing, such a diverse range that isn’t your standard curry or stir fry so well worth a visit. In the past year, I’ve eaten here at least five times and trying something different every time. I can definitely recommend the cottage pie and the quinoa, they also serve a gorgeous chocolate torte dessert. It’s not just the vegan food, the staff have always been friendly and very efficient.
12/09/2019: Great wee traditional bar/lounge/restaurant. Good food, friendly atmosphere, great service, and extremely dog friendly.

Coffee and Cream

Whitehead, Carrickfergus

The Vintage Tea Room

Glebe, Magherafelt, <20£
29/08/2019: This is a hidden gem. Such a relaxed vibe for us to visit with young children. The owners are so lovely and the hone made food is gorgeous. Couldn't recommend enough!
31/07/2019: This was the highlight of our day trip around this area. An unexpected delight! Quaint, like a lovely old fashioned living room, this place is full of charm. Bottomless teapot, and home baked treats- the caramel squares are the best I have ever had and I qualify as an expert! The owners were great craic and you felt you were in conversation with old friends reminiscing about people you both knew as Northern Ireland is such a small place. Highly recommended and according to reviews the food is as good as the baking so we will aim for lunch next time!
