The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Korean food

Absolutely perfect street food! Food looked vibrant, colourful and most importantly it tasted delicious and was bursting with flavour. They've got some cool benches just by the van where you can sit and enjoy your food with a drink, or its a couple of minutes to Croyde beach which is a fantastic location to eat as the sun sets. Brilliant experience, really friendly service too.

Tiny yet perfectly formed, this hidden gem of a restaurant offers delicious food at a great price. My wife and I were visiting a concert at The Piece Hall and Seoul Food Kitchen is just a few yards from the West entrance. The food is amazing... The spicy cauliflower - go for the large portion, you will want more of the fluffy, gooey... delicious taste. Lovely people, great food. What more can I say?

Wandering the Italian Market as we call it, and came across this stall. Ordered some of the finger bites (wings and chicken thigh for us), added some rice for an extra pound (6 for each) and what came was absolutely delicious. The chicken thighs were a generous portion, soft and moist whilst the coating was crispy and had a lovely crunch. The Korean sauces were delicious, get some in little containers so you can try a mix - the garlic one was a treat. The rice was special too, plump and sticky and my colleagues all mentioned it. Next time I'm going for the larger beef option but for a cheap and delicious lunch this is a must try!

Poor Customer Service and Frustrating Experience We recently visited this restaurant, and while the food was good, the customer service was absolutely terrible. When we arrived, I asked if they had kimchi pancake. One of the staff went to the kitchen and came back saying they did and had already placed the order because it takes time. As we were choosing the rest of our food, another staff member casually mentioned that they only accept cash. We didn’t have any cash, and they told us to get some from a nearby ATM. My husband went to the ATM, only to find out that it was out of cash. When I asked the staff if they accepted bank transfers or any other payment method, they said no, just cash. They suggested trying a gas station’s ATM, but that one was out of service as well. We had no choice but to leave our son at the table, drive to multiple places to find cash, and spent 45 minutes searching before we finally managed to get some. By the time we returned, the food was cold, and my son, who had been left waiting and hungry, didn’t even want to touch it. The worst part? The staff didn’t care at all. They didn’t acknowledge the hassle we went through or offer any kind of apology. It felt like they were saying, “If we don’t accept cards, it’s your problem.” To make things worse, after we struggled to get cash, they put up a handwritten “Cash Only” sign by the window—as if they only thought of informing customers after our bad experience. It’s understandable that it’s a family-run business, but that’s no excuse for such poor treatment of customers. We also had to pay for the parking twice because of the delay, and after all that stress, the food was tasteless to me. If you don’t carry cash, avoid this place. The inconvenience is not worth it.

Came to Thirsty Korean after it reopened from the previous location. Second day in business, they kept being incredibly attentive and pre warning us on potentially food being a bit late. However, we didn’t find the food being late at all, considering we arrived without booking with quite a few other tables arriving at the same time. The service was really attentive and the food was just as good as we remembered it. So excited for this to be open again and closer to where we live!

The only thing I actually enjoyed was the spicy rice cakes. Everything else was overly salty, with a strange sweetness that just didn’t mix well at all. Honestly, I should’ve stopped after the first main dish when I realized it wasn’t that good. But I was still hungry, so I ordered the signature ribs — and sadly, they weren’t much better. The soy-based broth was both salty and oddly sweet in a way that didn’t work, and there was also a bit of a gamey pork smell. I give up. On top of that, the service was… hard to describe in a positive way. And what really frustrated me was the takeaway box situation. Since I didn’t enjoy the food, I just wanted to pack it and take it home. The first box they brought out was dirty, so I asked for a replacement. The staff’s attitude wasn’t exactly helpful, and the second box they gave me was noticeably smaller. In the end, they charged me £2 for those two boxes — just like that.

This little Korean restaurant it is a joy of blessed flavours. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, but the flavours are so good. Be aware that the portions are very generous. It is a very lovely place to have a sharing experience with friends. I especially love the Kimchi soups when the weather is cold. FYI... bring cash!

I ordered it and what was the visual quality >.< A cucumber topping that I haven’t seen even in Korean Chinese restaurants ♡.♡ I like fried squid, I've never had it in my life. Among all the fried foods, this restaurant’s fried foods are the most delicious. I was impressed because it was fresh. If you make it salty, it tastes amazing..👍 I'm a picky eater and I know the reviews. I'm going with this house because it's just too good. A restaurant I want to visit again

My daughter booked this terrarium workshop for a Mother’s Day treat. We were greeted by friendly staff with a hot drink of our choice. Ricardo was our tutor for the day he was very kind and informative he explained all about what we needed to do to make our own terrarium.It was a very rewarding and relaxed experience that we both enjoyed doing and l throughly recommend this to anyone who love plants .A great treat for me loved it 🥰

Cracking food and lovely staff - Jack made a real effort to make sure we had everything we needed. Been back a number of times now, fried chicken had to be our favourite but honestly is everything is good.

This was really lovely food and service My friend and I were in the minority of the clientele as we are not Korean That the place seems to mostly be visited by Koreans suggests to me the food is not only gorgeous but also probably authentic I am looking forward to going again (soon!)
