The best restaurants serving Italian food in London

We have been using this branch for over 15 years. We love their pizzas and always order the HUGE ones. Only once were we disappointed when the pizza had been carried sideways and got squashed. Otherwise top marks for a thin pizza. Thank you Basilico.

A very busy restaurant but ideally placed near the theatres. Main meal was quickly served but the drinks were slow (had to get them ourselves off the bar!) and we had to wait 40 minutes for the desserts and we'd told the waiter too. Good food though.

Staff members ignored my warning that the salad contained mouldy vegetable fragments and continued working there. Additionally, many plates were filthy and unclean. Horrible, I won't eat there ever again.

The staff were courteous and the service was at a reasonable pace. However, the seating directly outside the cafe was disgusting. Every table was dirty, the floor had two slopped drinks and derbis on it that had clearly been there a while. Customers were having to move empty cups and sandwich boxes to put their own cups and food down. I spoke to a member of staff who said someone was coming to clean up. So far no one has been out to do something about the mess. In fact the person I spoke to struggled to look me in the face and turned away from me before the conversation was finished. I spoke to her some 15-20 minutes ago.

Ottima pizzeria per un pranzo veloce e economico. Consigliamo le pizze romane e il Garlic bread. Buone le insalate.

Grandes porciones de pasta variada a buen precio, incluso puede personalizar la forma de la pasta de su elección y su salsa preferida. El personal es siempre amable con una cálida sonrisa de bienvenida. Trabajo cerca y he estado yendo desde que abrieron recientemente y es justo lo que Fleet Street necesitaba. Los retrasos por niebla en los vuelos que despegaban significaron que las personas retrocedieron cuando las salidas de vuelos se estiraron y cancelaron. La ciudad de Londres no está construida para tales eventualidades y el lugar estaba bastante lleno de espacio. Afortunadamente (o no) vi a esta Illy a la izquierda de la sala de control de seguridad cuando la mayoría de las personas se dirigían a la derecha para llenar aún más la sala de embarque. Eso es lo positivo: había espacio para sentarse aquí. El café no era demasiado, no mejor que el que puedo hacer en casa, pero considerablemente más caro. Un croissant tibio, empapado de queso y jamón completó nuestra comida a un costo más alto. Una audiencia cautiva (literalmente en este caso) tiene poca o ninguna opción en esta situación y tiene que pagar precios exorbitantes por un sustento de baja calidad. No es una experiencia que me gustaría repetir, aunque fue agradable sentarse. . .

We ordered chicken tikka pizza last evening for dinner It was too much salty. We couldn't even eat one slice. Its better to order from standard brands atleast they have quality So disappointed 😞

Perfect every time!! This time I tried their amazing tiramisu!! Meatballs were lovely too! Chicken spinach parmigiana was a little bit dry but forgiven on account I ate it after it had cooled. Thanks again Sappore! Your tiramisu is legendary 😋 Irina

We had booked the skyline for a Friday night treat as we were in London for a few days and we thought it would be a lovely thing to do. How wrong were we!! We were told to find a table, no one really showed us where to go. Thankfully the place was quite quiet (that’s maybe telling you something right there) so we got a table. We waited 10 minutes for a server to come with menus, personally I didn’t think he had a clue what he was doing! I am coeliac so when he eventually came back to serve us I asked what items were gluten free? This is where the service went from bad to worse!! He left us to go to the kitchen to ask, he then came back but he didn’t fill me with much hope when he told me he “thought” the chef could make gf pizzas. He didn’t have a clue what other items on the menu were gf!! I ended up going up to the chef (it’s an open kitchen) to ask and even he didn’t sell it to me, I could have a salad. At this point I had lost all hope of eating at the skyline. My friends and I sat for 25 minutes and numerous servers walked past ignoring us. So, we left! I spoke with the manager on the way out that the service was absolutely shocking!! Lovely views but don’t waste your money. The place is all talk!!

O entregador não avisou que estava vindo para o hotel, pedi para o meu marido ir na recepção aguardar a entrega, o entregador chegou antes, foi grosso, e disse que estava esperando há 10 min. Mais um exemplo de grosseria na Inglaterra, somado às muitas aqui em um pequeno espaço de 48 horas.

The staff are absolutely rude !! You would think staff that can not speak good english would be more understanding when people cant understand them but they acted entitled and acted as if we were in the wrong for not understanding them as they had to repeat themselves . one indian (not too sure , they may be pakistani) girl and guy literally started talking in their language as we are in front of them and snickering , ive never felt so disgusted in my life . appalling service and all we wanted was a pizza . when we asked for the store manager , they told us to wait and that SHE WAS BUSY! P.S the pizza didnt even come out nice. lack of toppings, wasn't even round like a pizza and burnt crust . i would not recommend this place at all

We were visiting London last week & were looking for somewhere in the evening for just a hot drink and maybe a dessert. We were warmly greeted by Sulo, who offered us the option of going upstairs as there was music. It was my friends 60th Birthday & the pianist played Happy Birthday (twice in fact !). We enjoyed our hot drinks & dessert, and were so relaxed in the lovely atmosphere (it was Valentines evening !!), that we opted to stay even longer & each had a cocktail. We all remarked what a lovely evening we had, the Staff were lovely, the atmosphere wonderful & food & drink were great too. Will definitely call again when in London. Highly recommend!

my was a delivery order the pizza is just ok but the service is appalling I had the driver shouting at me and being very rude because I didn't have the code for the big gate and he couldn't come in with the car. I only had the small gate code My street is closed, so instead of shouting at me he could have just left the car outside walk through the small gate and deliver. I have also called the restaurant regarding my complaint and rudest people ever even on the phone. APPALLING

Honestly crap service and food , ate a pizza and 4 trips to the loo . Crap food and a report to trading standards . Not to be trusted and don't eat there !
