The best restaurants serving Indian food in Havering London

Got a take away menu through the door from a restaurant called Spice Club, it used to be Cafe Balti before the previous owner retired. The menu had some really nice sounding dishes which I have never noticed on other menus. My friend ordered too many onion bhajis which I’m not too crazy about but these ones where so nice and so different to any I’ve had before. I like to try anything new that I have never had before and I am so glad I did because the rest of the dishes that I had were also very tasty. They do not use any artificial colouring or flavouring which is always an added bonus for me. So if you fancy trying some new curry dishes give Spice Club a visit, they still do the old favourites but the first time I go there for a meal I know I’ll be having something new because most other menus have the same old stuff.

Been here a couple of times in the past few months and both times felt very welcome from the staff. The food is delicious. Really uses a good blend of spice and heat rather than just heat that you get at some restaurants.

Still 0 out of 10. Caught the manager and the waiter in the bathroom AGAIN and my water had a yellow hue. I never knew water could have such a distinct taste. The staff treated me horribly because of my last review and my wife was slapped by the manager for asking for the menu. Would not recommend although gets a slight improvement over last time for teaching my wife a lesson about speaking to men. Hope people heed this advice and stay FAR AWAY (unless they want to punish their wife) from this place- Jordan Noonster34 and Izzy 20 (In 11 years)

As always this is my favorite Curriy houses ever. Its not pretentious, Food is good, fast and service is impeccable. 5 + stars all the way , if you have had a bad time, speak to them ( as i have ) and they will bend over backwards to fix.

Visited the Village in Upminster on Sunday 8th September with family and friends for a 60th birthday party. We decided to go for the buffet menu which was fantastic and even one member of our family who had only had an Indian meal once in his life, thought it was exceptional. The atmosphere was great and the service from Zuber and the team was first class. I would highly recommend the Village for birthday parties or celebrations. If you do decide to come to the Village, please be aware that you can bring along your own alcohol which contributes to an affordable celebration.

Thought I’d give another go. As last time it was late and rice missing from order. But thought I’d give the benefit of the doubt. I wish I hadn’t bothered it was 50 minutes late. And tepid and barely warm and had to reheat. The Korma was watery on the plate. And the Jalfrezi was not even spicy. And the Bhaji was far too well done. Sorry to say I won’t be ordering again.

Had an amazing experience at Ginger Spice! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of authentic flavors and beautifully presented. Our server, Ronnie, made the night even better with his outstanding service. He was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations that we loved. You can really tell he cares about making sure guests have a great experience. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for incredible Indian food and top-notch service. Thanks again, Ronnie!

Waste of money starters come up with in 10 min asked for a 15 min break after starters mains come up plates were hot but food was only warm so definitely leaving food out then heating up never again

We stopped at this restaurant for lunch. Amazing Indian and Srilankan food!! I cannot sing their praises enough and I am a massive foodie! We had masala dosa (heavenly!) omelette (Indian style) and biriani (gorgeous!) all reasonably priced. This came to £20 and was ample for two people. I was eager to promote this place and I was really sad to see one previous review which might be killing their business. I don’t think they are savvy enough to respond to bad reviews. The customer service was also excellent, south Asians are known for their hospitality. Please support this business if you can 🙏 oh and they have parking too 👏

I ordered some food and the service wasn’t good then when I phoned up they didn't help at all so I won’t be ordering from there again

Wow first.time.ordering from here and.it was delicious. Can't fault the food.and taste Would.have been better if delivery had been in a hotbox as.it would.have been warmer. Overall absolutely great loved it all.

We ordered EGG NOODLES which was egg Maggie with no Maggie masala of course and CHICKEN CHAAT, was chicken curry not like chaat. I do not recommend this place for taste and price.

Nice choice of dishes and went on banquet night which is great value for money. Friendly staff and nice recommendation of dish as wasn't sure wanted. Nice choice and well presented and full of flavour

Fantastic chicken madras, the best in town. Great service from the staff to add to a lovely evening. Would recommend a visit if you are in Hornchurch
