The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

Very disappointing, I had ordered meal deal for one. I tasted really awful the tikka starter was dry and the sag aloo was horrible, they had also forgotten to include rice and poppadoms it was a very bad experience, I wouldn't recommend them

Usually have a great experience. Last night the language barrier definitely was an issue as they got our order wrong. Rectified and all fine. Friendly staff as always. However, today both of us had the runs 3 times and stomach cramps. Can only put it down to the prawn saag (most likely) or chicken bhuna. Terrible experience and very unexpected !

This is a hidden gem. Very warm wecoming owners. Lovely lovely lovely food. Would give 6 stars if I could.

A great old school pub, Well priced, nice service and excellent food.

Date night. Food order taken before drinks. Pickle tray awful. Staff stare at you while you eat. Took 20 minutes to get the bill. Not returning.

Hemos pedido algunas comidas para llevar que hemos recogido nosotros mismos y mi marido ha comido en un par de veces también. Nada es un problema. Servicio con una sonrisa, he tenido la puerta abierta para mí y ofrecido bebidas mientras esperamos. La comida es muy buena, lo mejor que hemos tenido en mucho tiempo. Muy fresco y lleno de sabor. No pediría una comida para llevar desde ningún otro lugar ahora.

Indian gem in Newbiggin by the sea. Really delicious meal -all our courses were fresh and tasty, accompanied by light nan and perfect cucumber raita. Very friendly service and staff. Will definitely come again with friends and family.

We have just recently moved to the village and tonight we have ordered a takeaway due to been far too tired to cook. Absolutely lovely five star 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Staff so friendly and polite, everything we ordered tasted fresh and the chicken was tasty no nasty bits 😋.. Thank you we will definitely be coming back ....

Absolutely outstanding, flavours were amazing

we have been to this restaurant several times. It is not decorated in the more usual red flock red chairs, red carpet colour scheme of many Indian restaurants, instead it has a fresher brighter feel with a smaller dining room at the front of the restaurant and then more dining space towards The rear of the restaurant. The menu is very comprehensive and varied and caters for many tastes and clearly indicates which dishes are mildly hot and which are very hot. The food is always freshly cooked, served hot straight from the kitchen and is always a joy to eat. WC facilities are clean, fresh and nicely decorated. The staff seem to go the extra mile and as an example I left the restaurant in torrential rain with my hood up forgetting that I had actually brought a large umbrella with me. I was almost at the entrance to the Ark when I heard shouting behind me and it was one of the gentleman servers from the restaurant who had discovered my umbrella and chased after me to make sure I got it back. These touches do mean a lot as a customer I feel.

We have been looking for a great curry house for a while. Just wow. Worth the drive. The food was incredible and the service was even better. These men drive from Birmingham everyday to bring incredible flavours and service to this little village. We will be back. Thank you for looking after us

El sol está fuera y todo el mundo se siente muy bien, ahora estamos en nuestro decimosexto año y en todos esos años, el Rajastán nunca falla. La comida siempre es excelente, el servicio es insuperable. Reservar con anticipación siempre es una buena idea debido a su popularidad entre los lugareños, también con más lejos, los que intentan siguen regresando. La comida para llevar está al mismo nivel, también es una buena alternativa si tienes prisa. Siempre hay un plato especial para probar cada mes, este mes recomendaría el pollo Lababdar. Recuerde reservar temprano para evitar la decepción.
