The best restaurants serving Fast food food in Basingstoke and Deane South East

I've been going regularly to this pop-up stall for the last 5+ years. It is one of my favourite places in Basingstoke to grab something to eat...it's just a shame it is only around on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I would probably go here far more often if was open all week. Highly recommended if you catch them in town. This is definitely THE place for Thai food in Basingstoke...I haven't seen anything this good since Kwai 2 closed down in Lychpit. It is authentic Thai food with great variety of choice. I will usually buy some Moo Ping (pork skewers), chicken satay or fish cakes if I am after a bite of lunch; I buy the Chicken Massaman if I want to buy something for dinner. The aromatic and natural flavours are definitely different (in a good way) from the Asian "chain" eateries in Festival Place. It's as authentic as it gets. The servings are very generous and prices represent value for money...they could put the prices up a bit and it would still be decent. They only take cash so you need to come prepared...the only cash I have around in my room is literally just a fund for this place. The only downside is that there is often a 5-10 minute wait to be served as they are very busy. I think this is a combination of them being very popular but also service being relatively slow. I have sometimes baulked at the queue and regrettably had to eat somewhere else due to time constraints.

The restaurant moved to these larger premises earlier this year and is now busier than ever. The food is a very high quality and the curryI had today was the ‘chicken panag’ which was great. As you can see from my picture they offer a wide choice of food to appeal to everyone. I bought the large size dish but it was too big for lunch so they packed it up for me to take home.

Very clean looking truck, friendly service and great kebab. We had two chicken kebabs and they were very tasty. We will definitely be going back!

why would you put computer screens???? They are confusing. Some people want to actually see the ingredients for themselves and not on a screen 🙄

Missing drink and food cold.

Only Greggs out of the three in Basingstoke to have a piping hot sassauge and bean melt. Not a single thing I could possible complain about. Flaky and delightful only regret is not buying another

Had a chicken Royale, skinny portion of chopped and shaped chicken so salty and tasteless, tiny portion for regular fries. The chocolate milkshake was disgusting, it tasted horrible it left a nasty synthetic aftertaste. Tasted absolutely nothing like chocolate… I would question if there was any chocolate in it. I would not recommend to anyone and wished I had not subjected my granddaughter to this highly processed tasteless food

Chips undercooked and fish overcooked. £22 on an awful dinner. My Dad and I threw most of it in the bin. 😔

Dapne deserves a raise! Just visited the store (12.30 8/8/24) for a takeaway, originally served by Bethany who as soon as she realised we were coming for the food put it down and walked off, zero customer service skills!! Dapne who was finishing serving next to me, without prompting, asked if I’d like a drinks tray (3 drinks and a bag to carry by myself) and if I’d like any sauces. Got back to the car to find the order wasn’t correct, when I got to the counter both Dapne and Bethany had their backs to the counter, only Dapne responded to my “excuse me”, she was polite and apologetic while Bethany just walked off to flirt with the male store Manager/Assistant Manager. Dapne was polite, helpful and friendly, she is showing how customer service should be! Would have fed this back to the store directly but can’t without a 12 digit code from the receipt but the self service machine didn’t give a receipt.

Very disappointed, they missed items off of my order, manager was very rude and when we went round the first time she had the windows shut on us as soon as we got our food so we couldn’t even ask for sauces, then when i went round to get my missing items she didn’t even apologise and just snatched the receipt out of my hand.

The McRib is absolutely delicious ! Every bite is packed with amazing flavour-so yummy and finger- licking good! With the current promo, its the perfect time to try it. Ordered for 5 people, the kebab was so greasy it had made its way through the paper, kebab meat was spicy, burger was undercooked, pitta was burnt, pizza is supposed to be cut but wasn't and apparently according to the store the kebab meat is meant to be spicy?? This caused a lot of upset If you've ordered via the app and you need a refund, you have to go via the app and not the store they won't take responsibility Would NOT recommend it to anyone!!!!!

When we ordered kfc and waiting the children were throwing kfc rubbish again and again from the top floor and they are asking for chip can I have ur Chip what the helllllllll

Food was dry, stale and tasted horrible. Tasted like it had been left in the warmer for hours. I would definitely would not be going back anytime soon.
