Alcester, Stratford-on-Avon, 20-30£
11/06/2018: I have always loved this place but today it didn't seem up to it's usual standard. The cake selection was quite poor even though it was only 11 o'clock. The cake we chose was nice but it is was chosen as the best of what there was on offer, and was not what would have been a normal choice. Being a lovely day we sat in the garden and were not offered the coffee top-ups that are usually on the menu here. A shame because a visit here is part of the reason for coming to Alcester.
10/06/2018: Two of us were turning 50 so invited friends to join us for vintage high tea. Good range of sandwiches with delicious coleslaw, salad and crisps, mix of fruit and plain scones with jam and clotted cream plus a range of superb cakes. To top it off, bottomless tea too - think we got through a couple of gallons since we sat and nattered for over 2 hours. Cafe is beautifully presented with beams, bunting, flowery table cloths and china like your nan had! Will definitely visit again. Lovely afternoon and a great memory. Thank you!

Ye Olde Steppes

Pembridge and Lyonshall with Titley, Herefordshire, County of
16/06/2018: The best gluten-free scones I've ever tasted and the kindest staff. I highly recommend the afternoon tea.
12/06/2018: Ye Olde Steppes came to our aid when we were planning a birthday party celebration. We wanted to have great food in the barn where we ( a group of 12) were staying without the hassle of cooking ourselves. One phone call to Sam at Ye Olde Steppes and everything was sorted.

The Olive Tree

Cheadle West, Staffordshire Moorlands, <20£
21/06/2018: We visited here while staying in the area after reading the great views - they don’t lie! The place is small, and if you’re looking for some privacy this probably isn’t what you’re after, but the food was absolutely amazing (perfectly cooked) and food & drinks were reasonably priced. Only disappointment is that this place isn’t local to us! Think we’ll be remember this dinner for some time to come.
20/06/2018: After great reviews on trip advisor, and working down here for the week. So looking for some decent places to eat.

Whitchurch North, Shropshire
19/06/2018: Fantastic food lovely atmosphere served by great staff in a wonderful location The best Italian with a great menu to tickle your taste buds and a good excuse to visit again to try something new
18/06/2018: Only comment I can make is that each time I have visited everything has been excellent. Don't see how it can be bettered.

The Tram Inn

Castle, Herefordshire, County of
20/06/2018: Visited this lovely pub first on the Sunday where a very knowledgeable barman introduced us to ‘Butty Bach’ bitter, brewed by the Wyevale Brewery - a wonderful brew that slipped down so easily. Then on Tuesday we went for a meal in the pub and were quite amazed at the standard of service (5*), the food (10*) and the Butty Bach again.
19/06/2018: We had a party of 12 on a week's holiday with family from around the country including the Isle of Skye. Our meals were all fantastic. Steak was very tender and best chips ever. Homemade raspberry cheesecake was to die far. Loved everything about the meal. Staff very pleasant and owner amusing. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Pundits Fusion

Upton and Hanley, Malvern Hills, 30-45£
18/06/2018: Just had another wonderful meal here tonight. Such a lovely relaxing atmosphere, great menu and very friendly helpful staff. You really need to give them a try ..... you won’t be disappointed !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
16/06/2018: The best Indian in the area by far, we have tried them all and always end up back at pundits. A great place to eat outside on a summer evening. Just fantastic cuisine.

La Dolce Vita

Quarry and Coton Hill, Shropshire, 30-45£
20/06/2018: Deservedly 5 stars, booked fora meal out during a short stay in Shrewsbury on the basis of (Positive) TA Reviews and did not disappoint. Not cheap but not dear for the sheer quality, welcome and service were reserved rather than exuberant and of the three dinners we had during our weekend this was the best.
12/06/2018: Went on a Sunday evening as group of five to celebrate family birthday. Easy and free to park nearby. Good ambience, every table had a reserved sign and soon rapidly filled up. Rather limited menu but very nice. I had the belly pork to start followed by steak. Portion sizes would not be for everyone’s taste. Washed down with 2 bottles of excellent pink Pinot Grigio: a reasonable bill of £215.00.

Casa Naranjo

Quarry and Coton Hill, Shropshire, 20-30£
20/06/2018: Have been several times as we live locally and have always had great food and friendly service. We love the tapas and there is a good atmosphere.
19/06/2018: We went here recently with our friends for a farewell meal for our teenage sons who are going travelling together. The food was incredible and plentiful; the service was friendly and efficient; and the cost was very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Pascal at the Old Vicarage

Branston, East Staffordshire, 20-30£
18/06/2018: The food was excellent and staff so attentative and very reasonably priced. We had a wonderful lunch and would not hesitate to revisit
18/06/2018: We dined here on the 17th. The restaurant was very busy, being Father’s Day. First time for us, but my parents had eaten here several times previously and were very keen for us to experience it. We were a party of 5 and had booked...

No 3 Restaurant & Bar

Ross-on-Wye East, Herefordshire, County of
20/06/2018: Fabulous. I have eaten in a lot of fine dining establishments at home and abroad and this is right up there with Michellan starred restaurants.
15/06/2018: We all had a fabulous night and really enjoyed our 2nd visit - and when our friends were delayed on the roads it was no problem to slide the table 30 minutes. The sharing platters are of varied flavours and excellent quality. Thankyou!

Ladywood, Birmingham
18/06/2018: Absolutely Amazing, cant wait to return to this Beautiful Restaurant.
18/06/2018: Birthday treat for my wife last week. We chose the '10 years in the making' menu. This ten course extravaganza samples some of Glyn Purnell's best dishes. The evening exceeded both our expectations. Lovely staff and spectacular food. This really was a feast for both the eyes and a super evening out. Definitely planning to return.

Jervis Arms

Leek East, Staffordshire Moorlands
18/06/2018: Fabulous meal and service will definitely be coming again. Made to feel so welcome and great atmosphere x
11/06/2018: Visited here again, having visited a few times since my last review. This place just gets better and better. The food is just wonderful, excellent wholesome food, with a bit of flare! The chef is excellent and clearly takes pride in his work, on occasion you...

The Red Lion Inn

Llangarron, Herefordshire, County of, <20£
20/06/2018: Really great location near Ross on wye. Lovely meal. Kind service. Very attentive. Lovely clean toilets. Benefited from recent modernisation. To a high standard. Complements to the chef my chicken was best meal in a while. Would recommend and return. Lovely beer garden win
18/06/2018: Sunday lunch when in the area for a wedding. This is exactly what a good country pub should be. Plenty of parking, easy to access, excellent food, service and range of drinks at very reasonable prices in a welcoming atmosphere. The roasts we had - pork, lamb, beef - were just right. Medium portion option would be sufficient for most appetites.Asparagus soup starter was very good. Choice of sweets covers most favourites and just right. I’ve eaten in hundreds of pubs and this straightforward establishment is as good as any and better than most. Bar snacks at no charge were a nice touch. Highly recommend.

The Moody Cow

Old Gore, Herefordshire, County of, >100£
19/06/2018: Excellent service, very clean, good coffee, quick service to your table. Staff very welcoming. Toasted tea cakes to die for.
08/06/2018: We met friends here and spent a lovely evening in a really lovely pub/restaurant. This is one of those laces where you look at the menu and think to yourself 'I could happily eat everything on here!' From the moment we arrived we were met with friendly, professional service. We had a lovely unhurried half an hour sitting beside the huge log burner in the comfy sofas with a pre-dinner drink while we perished the lovely menu. We all had different starters and mains and we all loved our food. The bill for four people having starter, main, coffees, one bottle of wine, two pints of lovely local beer and a couple of soft drinks was £156.00. We will definitely be visiting again to eat some more delicious food served by such a friendly staff. My only observation is that it would have been helpful to see a sample menu on the website. There is no menu on there because they change the menu daily (fantastic) but a sample menu with prices would be helpful for people deciding if they like the style of food served and if it is within their budget.

Masala Club Indian Restaurant

Meriden, Solihull
21/06/2018: Best takeaway in Balsall common. Okay to eat in as well. Very friendly staff. Great choice on menu. Very busy at weekends which tells its own story.
19/06/2018: Not been here for a while and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Service was good and even though it was initially busy, food arrived with a minimum wait and staff seemed genuinely pleased to serve.
