Mr India

Tylers Green and Loudwater, Wycombe
02/11/2018: This place never fails to please! We come here every week :p Great staff and service and Amazing food! Don’t just drive past, try it for yourself!
30/10/2018: Whether it’s a take away or we eat in, every time we dine here the food is amazing and the service is always second to none. Highly recommend +++

Coco Tamarind

The Risboroughs, Wycombe
10/11/2018: First visit to Coco Tamarind. It did not disappoint! Food was delicious, the monk fish tikka is highly recommended. The service was impeccable and they went out of their way to spoil our son. When they realised it was his birthday meal they soon appeared with a complimentary cake and all the waiters gathered around to sing happy birthday...Followed by complimentary drinks all round! Cannot fault this place. Best curry for miles around. We will be back soon.
08/11/2018: We went for a family birthday and found the food fantastic, the service superb and they went the extra mile to make the dining experience perfect.

Bombay Palace

Abbey, Wycombe
11/11/2018: Absolutely delicious food & great service. Staff are good fun & all have a super sense humour! My first choice for Indian food in high Wycombe.
09/11/2018: First time here and will definitely return next time I’m in Wycombe! Definitely try the Tikka rajala

Vanilla Pod

Marlow North and West, Wycombe, 60-100£
09/11/2018: We really enjoyed our set lunch at the Vanilla Pod, and at £30 per person (excluding drinks) for an amuse bouche, home-made bread, 2 small starters, a main, and 2 desserts it is good value for a place like Marlow. Our only minor criticism of the food is that it was clearly pre-prepared and left standing for a little while rather than being freshly plated immediately before service, and therefore not quite as hot (or not quite as cool for the ice cream) as ideally it should be. However, all of the courses were delicious. Service was friendly and efficient, in fact because the food was standing waiting to be served there was maybe too little time between the plates from one course being removed and the next course arriving. We had a pleasant chat with the barman before leaving, but unfortunately could not sample the 45+ gin varieties available as we had to drive home. Ah well, maybe next time, as this is a place well worthy of a return visit.
07/11/2018: Recently dined at the Vanilla Pod for my anniversary so a special occasion.

The Grouse and Ale

Chiltern Rise, Wycombe
28/10/2018: Great portions / Great atmosphere Fantastic service Polite staff 5* Food Highly Recommend for a couples/family or large function Alex is particularly conscientious to ensure everything is perfect
24/10/2018: Very good service. Polite staff. Good food. Quite a wait for food to arrive but as it was cooked to order, I couldn't say it was a draw back.

La Cantina Del Vino

Marlow South East, Wycombe
29/10/2018: La Cantina is a few steps from Marlow high street. The restaurant from the outside has a very quirky look, it’s a beautiful converted barn tucked in a courtyard setting, inside was as quirky with seating on a 2 level galleried restaurant, the exposed oaked beams and matching décor gave it a contemporary atmosphere. The restaurant was very busy and at times it felt like organised chaos, but everything we ordered came, everything we asked for arrived, and the food was fantastic, the place was lively which was actually making the restaurant buzz, we loved it. Authentic, seasonal Italian food with some daily specials on starters and mains. We enjoyed a mix of starters and main courses; the ladies both chose the special avocado with crab and a marie rose sauce it was so fresh, all white delicious crab meat; Calamari - deep fried squid served with homemade tartar Sauce, and off the special selection, scallops with an orange sauce. For mains we chose some good Italian classics, Risotto Porcini E Tartufo - wild Mushroom Risotto; Aporo Di Mare - Spaghetti with mussels, clams and prawns, Fettuccine Dello Chef - Fettuccine pasta with smoked chicken, green asparagus with creamy dolce latte sauce all really scrummy. The service was good, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the restaurant itself was very busy (always a good sign). We would definitely recommend and return again in the future.
24/10/2018: Went to this restaurant for the first time in 2014 on our first anniversary and went back again for a much needed date night recently. The food was still excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening!

The Hand & Flowers

Marlow North and West, Wycombe, >100£
04/11/2018: This was our third time at the hand and flowers. All meals consumed were to die for! Great selection of wines & Gins. This place never ceases to impress me. Staff were so friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to come back again!!
03/11/2018: This place oozes class - joined friends for a drink before they had a meal to celebrate a 60th birthday. Just had a couple of drinks but attentive staff and can’t wait to eat here

The Dashwood Arms

Chiltern Rise, Wycombe
30/10/2018: Just want to say I had the most amazing service for the friendly staff are the dashwood arms especially from a young chap called Charlie and the amazing Olivia and even Wayne with his bad dad jokes and awful jeans great time had good time will be back #bestpubinbucks
29/10/2018: The Sunday Roast is great value. You will not leave hungry if you have the half a chicken with roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding and vegetables.

The Yew Tree - Henley on Thames

Hambleden Valley, Wycombe
09/11/2018: On an Autumn day it was a shame not to have the fire lit and to leave the front door open!
28/10/2018: Called in last Sunday and ordered the roast beef, superb - medium rare, fantastic Yorkshire and perfectly cooked veg.

The Curry Centre

Abbey, Wycombe, 30-45£
12/11/2018: A great range of contemporary and traditional dishes in a revamped modern setting with red neon ceiling lights. Food was excellently prepared, cooked and professionally served - one of the most tastiest Indian meals we've ever had. We have frequented this restaurant quite a few times over the years and not been disappointed yet. Attentive friendly staff and excellent prompt service. Good value for money. Well worth a visit!
07/11/2018: Came for my partners birthday and was not disappointed. Great curry and the staff were incredibly welcoming.

Sundarbans High Wycombe

Ryemead, Wycombe
14/10/2018: We've had loads of meals here over the last few years and they have always been delicious. We've tried lots of different items from the menu and not had a bad one yet. Recommended
09/09/2018: We placed an order for delivery last night, based on a recommendation from a friend. We were told it could take up to an hour, which was fine, we expected that on a Saturday night. But after an hour and a half had passed we chased them only to find that the driver was looking for us over in Holmer Green when we had clearly given them our full address including postcode for Penn. So our food took 1hr and 45mins to arrive in the end.

The Frog at Skirmett

Hambleden Valley, Wycombe
04/11/2018: Fairly 'gastro' but in a good way with great food, service and good veggie options. Loved the baked squash!
24/10/2018: We arrived after a 8km walk to be met by a bar man using a calculator and totting up bills. no head up or eye contact. Just a 'what can i get you'. No warm welcome, no service with a smile. We were early but accommodated and taken to our table. Again, a waiter arrived who was as robotic as the bar man. We waited 55 mins for our meal. The fish and chips were good but well over priced. The lamb was good. But do NOT order either of the two linguine options. Dreadful, no flavour or sauce to bind the ingredients, no seasoning or anything to differentiate it from a toddler meal, served in a small soup bowl as if we were toddlers!. They do come to ask you how the meal is but we didn't want to embarrass them as the dining area was quite full. A meal for 4 cost £96 with half the party dissatisfied. We will not be returning as it does not deserve our custom. Neither does it deserve to be in the Sawday guide. Perhaps 'they' turn the act on for certain clients.

The Wooburns, Wycombe, 20-30£
02/11/2018: Fantastic pizza as usual, alway regular in quality. Good choice of pasta my favourite is sea bass which has a fabulous sauce.
02/11/2018: This was my first and last visit !! Service poor

bucks spice

Chiltern Rise, Wycombe
07/10/2018: Hey Love this pace for takeaway food. One of the best Indian places in Wycombe. Hope you all enjoy this food as it’s authentic as I’m Indian and this is it. Don’t trust all the rest. Love buck spice and will continue ordering from here.
29/09/2018: I ordered a meal for 6 and we made specific request with our meal. We were greeted by a very polite and friendly staff. All our queries were answered very well and our food was served piping hot. We absolutely loved our curries and starters. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a decent Indian in Wycombe.

Strawberry Grove Fine Foods Co.

Chiltern Rise, Wycombe
03/11/2018: We popped into the cafe at Lane End and we’re very impressed by the service and quality of the cakes . It’s small and cosy . Definitely would return
