Coco Tamarind

The Risboroughs, Wycombe
29/08/2018: This is a place we have not been to for a while but the staff still remembered us. Customer service is second to none and the food is good. Definitely a place to visit and still the best place for a curry in the area.
28/08/2018: We stopped at this restaurant on our way home from Aylesbury. Never been here before, but so glad we did. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. I would recommend a visit here. We will definitely return.

Bombay Palace

Abbey, Wycombe
18/08/2018: Looking for somewhere to eat at lunchtime after travelling from Staffordshire to pick up our son from Heathrow airport, what a brilliant find!! Staff were lovely especially the gentleman who looked after us from start to finish - a lovely touch with the jokes and shots . Ordered a bottle of house red and lemonade, wine was really lovely. Onion bahjees and poppadoms for starters then chicken pathia and chicken dhansak with garlic and plain nann. All delicious, best Indian food we have had ( had a lot from all over). Decor great with traditional background music, would highly recommend a visit.
17/08/2018: Food was amazing lovely staff. I enjoyed throughly with my family and i will recommend to others. I will be back soon.

Mr India

Tylers Green and Loudwater, Wycombe
06/08/2018: Tasty times! Swift and friendly service in really smart surroundings. Excellent food beautifully presented. Always a treat to visit.
29/07/2018: We walked up to Mr India while staying at the nearby Premier Inn. We had no problems getting a table for two on a Friday evening. The staff were friendly and attentive, we were offered poppadoms while we had a drink and browsed the menu, and the staff were happy to customise any dish however you liked. The menu had plenty of choice, the prices were very fair, and the food was great. I'd happily return if in the area again.

Vanilla Pod

Marlow North and West, Wycombe, 60-100£
06/08/2018: Self and missus met v longstanding friends for a most wonderful 7 course tasting menu and accompanying wines. Everything was just right. The front of house team of 4 looked after several parties most efficiently whilst the proprietor, alone in the tiny but well-organised kitchen, kept the dishes moving.
06/08/2018: Arrived at 12.30.not busy in restaurant. Slow to offer drinks and when we finally ordered our food starter arrived at 13.25. Staff need some customer service skills. It is not about taking the order but showing some genuine interest in the customer having some banter would be nice! wine was not served cold enough in our view. Not offered any replacement just told that is the best temperature to serve the wine at.Listen to the customer and give us what we want even though you may think we are wrong .The best thing would have been to give us what we asked for. So although we couldn't fault the food the attitude of the serving staff lets this place down.Smile and welcome us so as we want to return.Sadly we won't.

The Grouse and Ale

Chiltern Rise, Wycombe
12/08/2018: Lovely pub, both in interior and exterior, with a friendly atmosphere. Very welcoming and accomodating staff. Has both a pub-part and a restaurant, which are very elegant. Exquisite restrooms and overall very stylish establishment, without being overly posh. Family-friendly. Parking available.
12/08/2018: We completed a fab Helicopter ride in High Wycombe, and we were recommended to go to Lane End, where we stumbled across this pub. After reading good reviews on Tripadvisor we thought would give it a try, and very glad we did! Food was really tasty, good service and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Would highly recommend if you are in the area!

Coach and Horses

Marlow North and West, Wycombe
14/08/2018: Visited here twice during my recent visit. Firstly for drinks where the service and drinks choice were great. The second night we had food and every dish ordered were amazing quality. We were told to get there early on the Saturday for pre drinks and would highly recommend as we were sat straight down where some were waiting for tables arriving a little later.
12/08/2018: Fantastic concept, great atmosphere and very professional service, however, food just far too salty even for someone who is not adverse to seasoning food. Had the Kiev, pollock scotch egg the battered fish with tartar sauce and Chunky 'chips' plus the burger. the Kiev and scotch egg tasted of nothing but salt, such a disappointment. second time around, we experienced the same first visit but decided to give it another go....sadly just th same this time :(

Pony Espresso

Greater Hughenden, Wycombe
28/07/2018: I’ll tell you how good this place is - so good that Gareth Ainsworth the Wycombe Wanderers Manager comes in! Probably the best coffee in Bucks, certainly the best Fish-finger wrap. Friendly and smiling staff. Good coffee shop!
23/04/2018: My son, based in the local RAF base, took us to this restaurant, even though he'd never been there before. The decor and cleanliness of the establishment is excellent, the menu, varied, the food tasty, the coffee to die for, the prices reasonable. My best wishes to the owners for a successful future.

Da Luca

Marlow South East, Wycombe, 45-60£
18/08/2018: We visited one Sunday based on all the good reviews. Whilst service was friendly, it was painfully slow despite the small number of people in the restaurant. I had the Pollo al Proscuitto and sadly was very disappointed. It wasn't simply that it was average, it was actually unpleasant: I would have preferred not to have eaten it at all. Pizza was average with the base insufficiently cooked in places.
13/08/2018: We were staying at Marlow before an early flight out of LHR so wanted somewhere to eat that was relaxing and friendly. Da Luca fitted the bill perfectly. The location is a little unusual but the food and service more than make up for this.Very traditional Italian cuisine, also very popular with the locals for takeaway pizza. Great atmosphere and very professional service.

Dolce

The Wooburns, Wycombe, 20-30£
08/08/2018: After my last review of "why do we not eat here more often" - we did! Tuesday night, thankfully we had booked as the restaurant was full.
06/08/2018: Small village restaurant but food is fabulously fresh. Family owned and all very friendly staff especially owner. Sometimes a wait for food but compensated by it being very fresh. Good choice of pizzas and pastas.

Cedar Coffee Shop

Marlow North and West, Wycombe, >100£
12/08/2018: Visited the Cedar Coffee shop after reading the reviews. Our lunch visit did not disappoint. Chicken and avocado baguette was delicious (as was their special homemade coleslaw) and the jacket chilli was also tasty (definitely homemade). Service was attentive and pricing very competitive. Will definitely be returning.
05/08/2018: Too much choice on the menu - it all sounded so yummy so was hard to decide. So many healthy but tasty options! Great staff, price, coffee and cake and air con. What more could you want?
