Mr India

Tylers Green and Loudwater, Wycombe
11/03/2019: The food and staff here are great. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that when it gets really busy they can give you a table at the back of the restaurant, which is not as appealing as the main part.other than that it's a great Indian.
05/03/2019: The India Restaurant Is one of my top Indian places to eat. A very warm welcome every time staff are terrific & they have a great selection of normal & some not so normal dishes, been several times and always enjoy

Vanilla Pod

Marlow North and West, Wycombe, 60-100£
16/03/2019: Had an early dinner last night for a "just because" treat. It was simply lovely, the venison and scallops to start were absolutely perfectly executed and delicious. The beef and duck were perfectly cooked as requested (even though i asked for the duck to be maybe a little rarer than a purist might approve of), and everything on each plate was a sensation, both together and in isolation. Which is a rare feat.
13/03/2019: We decided to celebrate my wife's birthday at Vanilla Pod, which could have been a great risk as we had never been before. However, we could not have been more delighted. From the moment that we walked through the door on a stormy Tuesday afternoon we were enveloped into a warm and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant was full which surprised us considering the weather but service was friendly, efficient and very professional. There are several menus to choose from ranging from gormande 9 courses to two course menu of the day. I chose a la carte, my wife the daily menu. All of the food was of the same high standard and no only sublimely flavoured but beautifully presented. I'm ashamed to say that if I had not been in public, I would have been tempted to lick the plate.

Coco Tamarind

The Risboroughs, Wycombe
16/03/2019: We are regulars for both eat in and take away. Always excellent, with fish the speciality. We often have tandoori salmon or king prawn shashlik. Very friendly service. The house wines are all ok.
15/03/2019: I don’t know where to start, the food was fantastic the service was tremendous the whole evening was phenomenal it’s was my wife’s birthday we had our meal (best food ever) and when we were finished without asking they bought in a birthday cake and sang to my wife and give a free drink (anything we wanted) amazing, you must go there!

The Curry Centre

Abbey, Wycombe, 30-45£
15/02/2019: It was a pleasure to return to the Curry Centre following its refurbishment. The food remains excellent along with incredibly attentive staff. Very good food servings with delicately flavoured spices. The menu is wide ranging with many of their own dishes on offer in addition to the usual carry dishes. Along with the excellent food and service they provide a few little extras that you would not usually expect to be included. We wood highly recommend this as a place to eat for a date or evening out with friends. Will definitely return! Thank you once again.
13/02/2019: I had not eaten here before, but my wife had on a few occasions. She tells me it has considerably changed recently, with a very nice decor and a new menu.

The Risboroughs, Wycombe
17/03/2019: Radhuni never fails to impress. The surroundings are beautiful, the staff attentive but not to the point where they are intrusive. And the food....well, the only thing to say about that is it is superb. There are a few good Indian restaurants around us, but Radhuni is excellent. We all unanimously agreed that the food was the best we have had. The restaurant is very popular and rightly so. If you are going on a Saturday, be sure to book so that you are not disappointed. Can't recommend the place highly enough.
13/03/2019: We both love Indian food, so we decided to go to Radhuni on the 14th Feb. It was just excellent, and though we ignored the special set menu, ordered delicious dishes from the extensive menu. When it cam eot leave, my wife was presented with a rose and a Valentine's balloon. A really nice touch!

Bombay Palace

Abbey, Wycombe
19/03/2019: Came with two colleagues and had poppadoms, starters, mains and drinks. Everything tastes amazing! Service was incredible (we had a great man named Shah), we would definitely come again! :) very happy!!!
19/03/2019: The food was tasty and the madras was spicy but had a lot of flavour! The naans were great but the rice a bit bland, overall the best curry in Wycombe town. Attentive and friendly staff, shout out to Shah. Would recommend

La Cantina Del Vino

Marlow South East, Wycombe
10/03/2019: Went here for the set price lunch, nice restaurant inside, attentive waiters but had to ask twice what soup of the day was, was I not asking my waiter ? Also not told about specials for a supplement so just stuck to the menu.
09/03/2019: We had a excellent lunch here, the food is ncredible, the staff is very friendly and the place is amazing, very high recommended!!

The Grouse and Ale

Chiltern Rise, Wycombe
10/03/2019: Popped in on the off chance on a Sunday lunch time. Very busy but they managed to fit us in and pleased they did. Great food. Fast service. All round very good. Thanks guys
03/03/2019: food absolutely gorgeous - but l am sorry - for a non-busy saturday night at 7pm -totally disappointing. Please don't get me wrong - staff very polite but we waited 20 mins for them to clear our starters (after asking) - so as an ex publican - no attention to customers. So as l know kitchen won't cook main until staff say they have cleared table ???

Coach and Horses

Marlow North and West, Wycombe
19/03/2019: I have lunched here before and I found the food considerably better then I ordered a coach burger what arrived was a tepid tough pile of under-cooked meat served on a saucer. This meant that it was difficult to eat. When I was ask how my lunch was, I said it wasn't as good as the previous occasion, the waitress gave me a lecture about how it was cooked in a water bath. The water must not have been at the right temperature. Definitely not worth the trouble
15/03/2019: Completely different Michelin experience compared to any we’ve been to before.

The Yew Tree - Henley on Thames

Hambleden Valley, Wycombe
09/03/2019: Popped in on our way through the village to get a glass of wine. Never been before but what a stunning pub! It’s immaculate inside and very smartly decorated. It looks like it may have had a recent refurbishment- it was spotless. A small group of locals were watching rugby in the bar so we settled in by the stunning open fire.
08/03/2019: Saturday evening, great atmosphere, delicious food and usual excellent service. Dogs are welcome in the bar so do reserve a table so doggy friends can come as well.

Da Luca

Marlow South East, Wycombe, 45-60£
19/03/2019: A girls night out. Great night good service, food good as usual. Brilliant. Will definitely go again.
04/03/2019: Saturday night and this place is full; had to wait 15 minutes for pre-booked table. I could see why... no one wants to leave. From arriving to departing the welcome and service is very good. We had starters of mussels in tomtato and garlic sauce, calamari and galic bread -a ll very wull coked and tasty, the calamari was in a very light batter. Mains of mixed seafood pasta, monkfish and pizza all very good - had a takeaway box for uneaten remains of the pizza. very nice tiramisu and affogato for dessert. The wines are very well priced, and the primitivo was very good quality. Good coffees to finish. Overall a very well presented, well cooked three courses and a very reasonable bill. Noticed that two family groups had been there when we arrived and were still there after we left (didnt look like they were rushing), which suggests that they were local and were very happy.

The Hand & Flowers

Marlow North and West, Wycombe, >100£
19/03/2019: They don't have much wriggle room on quality when they carry michelin stars and the reputation of a celebrity chef. They lived up to that standard. It was one of the bestvmeals we have eaten. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service exemplary. But the star is the food. Everything we ate lived up to promise and was absolutely top quality. The venison was the best meat I have ever eaten. Hadn't left room for pudding but forced it in and it was worth the discomfort. Highly recommended and we will now have to find a reason to visit Marlow again!
19/03/2019: Chose to eat and stay at the Hand and Flowers. The room was very well appointed and being picked up and driven to our dinner was very special. The warm malted milk and cookies was a really nice touch when you get back to the room.

The Wooburns, Wycombe, 20-30£
10/03/2019: Wow! This was a fantastic visit. Disappointed at not having a table available at our first choice restaurant, we decided to give Dolce, their competitors a try and boy were we glad we did! Lovely, clean and classy restaurant, vey friendly and obliging staff - nothing was too much trouble. There's a nice buzz in the restaurant - a lovely, lively atmosphere without being too noisy or uncomfortable. The food was utterly out of this world, from the garlic pizza bread to the salads and amazing pasta dishes. We savoured and devoured every last mouthful. We will definitely return AND they do take away! An all round winner!
09/03/2019: Love this restaurant but have been challenged with poor service and lack of menu items in the past. Happy to report this has now greatly improved, lovely service, all food available and beautifully cooked (often get takeaway as food is always good). We will be back, only tiny niggle is the 10% automatic service charge, it does make me not leave any more than that, whereas I would probably do so if left to choose myself.

Hazlemere North, Wycombe
08/03/2019: Had a fabulous mezze here food to die for great friendly service can’t wait to come back again soon for another meal
06/01/2019: I went there with my girlfriend and we loved it. We went to Cyprus in the summer and loved the Greek meze there so wanted to try find a Greek restaurant back at home. It’s fair to say we was not disappointmented. The decor is brilliant and it was like we was back in Cyprus! It is run by a Greek couple and they was very welcoming and presented the food as they did in Cyprus. We went for the set menu and there was plenty of food and was delicious. The white wine was spot on as well! I was very surprised with the price of the bill at the end, it was very good value for money. We are glad we have found this little gem and we will be returning. Can’t recommend it enough!

The Red Lion Bradenham

15/01/2019: A great place to visit for lunch or just a coffee and cake. Friendly staff and great food, make this a lovely place to meet with friends.
