The Old Fishmarket - Champagne & Seafood Bar

Pantiles and St Mark's, Tunbridge Wells, 60-100£
18/06/2018: We decided to eat the old fish market and overall, we definitely weren't disappointed. Location-wise, it is perfect. With it being quite a small place within a listed building, I was surprised with it being pretty quiet for a Friday evening. Compliments to the staff...
25/05/2018: Best lobster bisque we've had. And we've had a few. So much depth and flavour. Followed by scallops for me beautifully cooked in Pancette on a celeriac puree

The Mount Edgcumbe

Broadwater, Tunbridge Wells, 30-45£
20/06/2018: Good menu with good attentive service. We tried the house white which was most acceptable. The main problem which made us get up and go sooner than we would normally.i.e. no coffees etc was the noise level.
19/06/2018: We had a family gathering of 9 people for lunch at The Mount Edgcumbe last Saturday. From start to finish the service was excellent and very attentive. The starters and mains were very good. We were lucky to have a room upstairs which has been decorated really well. Have been coming here for over 15 years, in its many guises, but can safely say this is the best it has ever been, which is great given its lovely setting on the common in Tunbridge Wells. Will definitely be going back.
